Horrible Customer Service After we got home, I mentioned to my husband that my ice cream tasted sour and he said his did as well. The wafer cone taste really old. I told him it did not taste like the Cold Stone we used to go to in Denver. He told me that he saw one of the gals scooping ice cream out of a pre-packaged carton and putting it into one of the bins behind the counter ... terminology. I was looking for some dessert late at night. The line was out the door but they were the only thing open past 7! I got in line and waited. There are a bunch of kids working here and it is utter chaos, but they are working hard. They are all over the place when it comes to taking orders but that's alright. I had a bunch of kids with me so they were super patient and made the orders accordingly. The prices are way cheaper than California, so that was nice to see. I have visited this location a few times in the last 6 years and it is consistently awful. The service is soooo slow. There will be 15 people in line, but the people behind the counter are moving in slow motion. There's no sense of urgency here. The ice cream is mediocre and overpriced. I thought it was the only ice cream place open until 9pm, but Gelato (downtown) and Graff Dairy are open until 9pm too. I'll even visit Dairy Queen or Sonic before I'd decide to come here again. read more

"Mom, can we please go to Cold Stone?!" I get this a couple of times a year. My daughter enjoys the ice cream here, I think mostly because they mix in whatever ingredients she chooses. She also likes the free samples. They mix the ice cream on a "cold stone", serving it in the cup size of your choosing. While the flavors are pretty good, the ice cream is never cold enough for me. By the time it's manipulated to add the ingredients, it's almost soft serve. But, hey...still hasn't stoped me from eating it! There are always a good ten different ice cream flavors to choose from, and lots of toppings to mix in! Try the ice cream cakes! Delicious! My grandsons ages 4 and 2 recently visited Cold Stone for ice cream. The creamery was clean and very friendly! When clients come in the door the employees welcome them. Social distancing is practiced and all employees and all clients were wearing masks. The grandsons prefer vanilla and chocolate ice cream sometimes with added toppings ie M&Ms or sprinkles etc. I prefer Gelato and the flavor of the day was lemon and it was awesome. I go here weekly for my mother in law's milk shake obsession. Cold Stone is her second favorite shake, locally (Palisade Pie is the winner by a long shot). There is a weird (to me) smell in all Cold Stone locations and this one is just like all the others. I don't know if it is an ingredient or the freezers or maybe even a corporate mandated air freshener. But, I don't care for it. This location is always fairly busy and since the mixin's make it a labor intensive product, there is always a wait. But the staff is always friendly and greet you with an "I'll be with you soon" comment. And, they take good care of each and every customer. Since my m-i-l loves the shakes so much - I'll be back. And, I will try her on some of the sundaes too. She is at an age where she doesn't need to worry about weight and we like to keep her fed. Ice cream is always a winner! read more

I had a coupon to go here for a BOGO deal. It was a loyalty reward and was emailed to me for being a part of the rewards program. We went to the store to use them, but they would not accept them because they "were not printed". No where on the coupon did it say that it needed to be printed and I'm pretty sure they didn't accept them because they didn't feel like it. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. read more

Blech. Yeah, all the stuff they can add to the ice cream is seductive, but the flavorings here are absolutely inartful and leave a lot to be desired. Got a taste of the salted caramel flavor and it was all salt. Yuck! I ultimately bought a small cup of raspberry sorbet. It costs almost $4.00 (with no cone a 10% off coupon!!) and was virtually flavorless. I could've kicked myself, I was so disappointed. For the same price I could have gotten a whole pint of Haagen Dasz at the supermarket, had enough to share with a friend and avoided the screaming kids running around. I won't be back. read more

I LOVE this place!!! The prices are a little higher than going to the grocery store but it is totally worth it! You get to choose from a whole bunch of toppings and candies to put in the ice cream you also get to choose from around 16 different ice creams that they change for different seasons!
