I am here on an almost daily basis! The staff at the Gardnerville Starbucks is always so kind and polite. I love coming here!

Giving Starbucks a bad review seem strange. I mean Starbucks are all the same right? For some reason, not this one. I'm assuming it's a management issue, everyone just seems upset and they are very brash with customers, seldom smiling unless it's contrived. One one occasion I heard as one employee degraded another, it's an unusual experience. It feels like no one enjoys working there, I still go, because options are limited near by, by limited there's only a drive through coffee place. If another coffee shop opened I would for sure stop coming here. read more

First thing that I must say is how amazing the staff is here and all times of the day. They are always using proper manners and always have a smile on their faces. The coffee they make is very exceptional, I have had a wide variety of choices and all passed expectations even when trying new products. When I drag myself in here at 0'dark thirty before work I'm always greeted with a smile. Good coffee, I love that they have the clover which makes such good coffee. Employees are quick about getting your drinks and make starting the day at 530 a little easier. read more

For me, Starbucks locations earn their points by being friendly, accurate, and quick. Compared to other locations in Northern Nevada, this one is very good. They almost always repeat back your order if it is complicated and almost always get you the correct product. Friendliness and speed are not as consistent, but have never been a real problem. read more

As a loyal Starbucks fan and regular customer, I'm sorely disappointed with this particular Starbucks. Although the interior is clean and the arrangement of furniture is to be admired, the customer service is the very worst I have experienced at any Starbucks, from Crete to Lima, Peru. Snobbish would be an understatement. On three occasions over the past two years, I have had the baristas "forget" to make my drink altogether, and when I have gently brought this to their attention, I have been met with looks of contempt and disgust. I'm always a fan of the Bucks, especially when a store has such great service and friendly employees! It's not too busy overall but it does get hopping! Drinks are made as per the standard Starbucks regulations and are consistently delicious. read more

Love this Starbucks, much better than the one in Minden. At least this one can make drinks with some consistency. HOWEVER, and perhaps this review would be better placed on with the company instead of this specific store....but, as a gold card holder, why do I only get one star when I purchase four drinks in one transaction?! This doesn't seem fair at all. It seems like something that should be quick to fix on the computer. It doesn't seem so hard that it would be impossible for the company to come up with a program or tweak their program so that it can determine how many drinks you have ordered. I feel like I am getting ripped off by the system and from now on will be requesting the cashier ring up each drink in my order separately. read more

The service in the drive-thru is really slow, even when there are no other cars. The employees are very friendly and the drinks have always been very good. I would have easily given 5 stars had it not been for the long wait in the drive-thru every time I've gone. read more

I love the flat white, extra hot, light foam. Was told it's free form foam pouring, so you end up getting 3/4 drink, 1/4 foam, if you're lucky. Ordered today, quad flat white, extra hot light foam. I have been to this location at least 20-30 times over the past couple years. Being from Markleeville my options are rather limited close to home. But I must say that time has not changed the experience here. I would say they have gotten my drink right probably never. The staff seem disoriented at best and out of sync with each other. My visit this morning will be my last. I will drive across town to Minden to avoid this place. BTW the Minden store has much better customer service and they usually make my drink right. Okay so the lady at the counter was obviously overwhelmed by her job. She was snapping at the younger staff in front of customers--very bad form. She then asks me for my order without even cracking a smile. I had to repeat myself 3 times before she got it right. I told her I had a reward and had my phone ready to scan. She then asks me "is that a regular?" I asked "regular?" She then asks again ""is that a regular?" I asked again "what do you mean by regular?" She then expands rudely "is it a regular or birthday reward? I need to know. I need to know which button to hit." I replied "regular. I have never been asked that before." Her poor customer service and irritability was so off-putting. Than they made my drink wrong (forgot the breve) and when they made it again it was luke warm with foam when I ordered extra hot and easy foam. Ten minutes had already past and now the line was almost to the door so i didn't have them try again. I figure since I pay over 5 bucks for my coffee they should get it right and serve me with a smile. read more

Worst Starbucks ever! I ordered a venti white mocha frap. They gave me a cream frap with white chocolate... No mocha! I could tell when she went to hand me a snow white colored drink. I said " I ordered a white mocha frap". She said "yes this is it" then I said "white MOCHA frap" the employee said "yes it's a white mocha frap." I said " I have ordered it before & it never looked like that all white drink" she said rudely " it's a white mocha, WHITE mochas are WHITE. This is the way they always look." well I'm not young & dumb! & white chocolate is white but espresso is BROWN! So a drink that is a mocha includes espresso & should be some shade of brown... light or dark brown! I left & went to another Starbucks where they are awesome in Placerville & gave them the drink untouched they said the drink was clearly wrong & not a mocha of any kind... & made me the right drink. I had drove from Vegas to this lame shop. I was up at 3 with my 2 kids under 4 years old... 9 hours later this is the 1st coffee shop I passed! I really really wanted & needed some caffeine not a white chocolate cream drink with a dumb rude employee. I still had another 3 hours to drive... Thank god all the Placerville Starbucks have smart & quality employees! When I called to inform the shift manager of my problem so they could fix it & not upset other people with wrong drinks.... She said "if you come back through in the next few days they would make me a new one." after I said I live 3 hrs from them & wouldn't be back through. If I did go back through I would go somewhere else! read more

coffee is good but im a partner and my store doesnt require the physical partner card to get the discount just the number. i went through the drive through when they told me and without my discount i didnt have enough money. so i went and parked and found more money in my car. i went inside and just checked with someone to make sure it wasnt just a drive through thing because my store doesnt have a drive through and the lady said their manager is admit about requiring the physical card. then i ordered and payed and the lady who was doing the drive through when i went through starting being extremely rude to me saying it wasnt okay for me to ask multiple people in order to try to get around it. after every time ive ever visited this store and had good service, i am very disappointed with these employees except for the guy who took my order who offered to just skip the card and give me a discount anyways bc he felt the same way i did and thought it was dumb. never going back to this particular store because of how rude the ladies treated me. read more

for my first experience i was very disappointed, the oven was broken, they gave one of the members in my party the wrong food, forgot to add honey to my sisters drink when she requested it, not to mention they only gave us white cups, what happened to the festive red cups ?! i'm outraged. read more
