I don't like coffee and generally find Starbucks overrated. I have two things I normally get there a couple times a year, but you will not find me waiting every morning for a cup of Joe. But sometimes I find myself with a gift card, so I decided to stop by for breakfast and the honey lemon mint tea (aka the medicine ball tea). I have to say, the muffin was really good! It was moist, the cream cheese was just the right amount and the pumpkin seeds on the outside were a nice touch. Always enjoy the tea - they were out of honey, but it was good nevertheless. Notice to professionals holding meetings. Absolute worse store I have ever visited. With 24 hours notice each day ordered two travelers for each day for important meetings. Both days, not ready and the second day totally forgot. Needless to say that was a serious issue for the meeting. However the real disappointment was their total lack of care that it wasn't read as promised. Just don't count on them. Go to the store out on 65. No problem there. read more

I drink Starbucks regularly, but the Kroger Starbucks is the worst at making your coffee right !! How hard is it to make a Venti Peppermint Mocha ? Evidently it is pretty hard. This morning's mocha had NO MOCHA IN IT !!! And of course you can't turn around and go back because most people are on their way to work when grabbing a coffee !! As someone who's worked in customer service before, I know how hard it is to keep a smile on your face. And she was struggling from the amount of Karen's executed during her morning shift. This place needs a 0 stars rating. Trust me, go to the Meijer Starbucks(across the street) or Kroger Starbucks. This particular Starbucks has been such a disappointment so many times in the past. Pulled in today to grab some afternoon, Sunday Starbucks. And they have the drive thru blocked with trash cans. In the past they have forgotten to give my husband his credit card back. They have dropped his credit card out the window, carelessly, expecting him to get out and get it. Their manager is rude, constantly, with her vile attitude. This used to be the best, most friendliest Starbucks around. And typically it's up to a mediocre par, But today...the drive thru line was long (no big deal)...so I decided to go inside. There's a ton of people waiting for drinks (again, no big deal). BUT THEN, the little gal behind the counter said "we're not taking cafe orders right now". So I politely asked "should I just order from the app?" She proceeds to tell me that they're not accepting that either, that people HAVE to go through the drive thru. I'm hugely pregnant, holding my toddler, and you're telling me that I can't order inside PERIOD, and that I'll need to go back out to the car and get in the drive thru?! AND there was ZERO signage anywhere letting myself or OTHER people that followed in on their "closed for business" deal. OH but wait. There's more. I'm in the drive thru as I'm typing this and low and behold, there's a barista on a smoke break out behind the drive thru sign. OH AND THEN THERES MORE. I just ordered, 3 drinks and a lemon cake for my dad. She said "we're not able to serve our food right now". EXCUSE ME. What kind of service are you able to provide at all?! So I politely asked "why?" And she said "well okay if that's the case". I said "yes it is the case because I was just inside and nobody is serving anyone anything right now". She continued politely and I ended up with my order but you can't just NOT serve people because you're a little overwhelmed at the moment. I was a waitress for 6 years, so I'm speaking from a place of experience. This time of overwhelm and understaffing will pass, BUT the impression you leave on your customers will last...i tipped the nice gal and told them I hope the rest of their day gets better, but if this type of stuff happens this often, theyre not going to survive at this location! read more

I don't have much to say as it is Starbucks and they are all pretty much the same. What I will say is they seem unorganized and don't have a solid grasp on what is going on around them. They got a coupe drinks wrong, they didn't seem to know the difference between pumps and shots, and they even got one of our most basic requests wrong...no whip on a frap! MY drink came out just fine so I can't complain about that. And really, I suppose I am not complaining about them at all...just found it odd how disorganized they were. The drinks are always spot on and the baristas are amazing at recommending the perfect drink (I'll always owe Danielle for the half eggnogg half chai latte, soooo good!). The location is warm and cozy and has plenty of comfy chairs and tables which makes it easy to read and'or do work. read more

This is a pretty typical Starbucks... clean,nice baristas, good selection of product to sell. Nothing outstanding. I guess I'm partial to MY local Starbucks~ they know me, my drinks & even my family! I had been going to this Starbucks for years. I stopped going because the barista likes to argue about my order. I have no clue what it is about vanilla bean powder on top that chaps his rear but it NEVER fails. Today, I thought it would be nice to bring my husband coffee. I thought to myself, it has been about 3 years, why not? There he stood taking orders. I figured surely he has been here long enough and it's super busy, he won't have time to argue. I was SO wrong! Once again, I was chastised about the vanilla bean powder. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? There are 3 Starbucks in Franklin. Why on earth does this man have issues with vanilla bean powder??? I pay extra for it! Sprinkle it on top and move ON! It's not complicated. I don't say how much or how little. Just sprinkle it on the damn foam! Years ago, I tried complaining. It's just not worth it. There are too many happy employees at other Starbucks. Just incredibly frustrating! read more

Starbuck's reputation precedes itself! This location offers cheerful service and tasty treats. I stop by this location often and among the best of drive through operators are Danielle and Patrick. Thank you!!! It's good to know that this location doesn't serve sandwiches for lunch, but does have a few breakfast items available all day. My recommendation is an Iced, Non-fat Chai Latte with 2 extra Chai flavor pumps. Grab a Tiramisu Cake Pop to curb your appetite. =) read more

I've been popping through this location for a few days and my coffee here is always super strong. Came through today with my dog and asked for a puppacino/pup cup with my coffee. The order was $5.89, I handed the cashier $7 and told him to put the balance in the tip jar. He looked super confused and it took a second to set in. Then he handed me my drink, came back with $.11 and said, "You want this in the tip jar?" I confirmed, and he then handed me the pup cup and said, "Well, this worked out for you, then, because I made you two pup cups." I thought it was odd, but as I was pulling away, I realized that you apparently get charged for pup cups now AND, the cashier couldn't do basic math. He should have put $1.11 in the tip jar, not $.11. Hopefully they catch it when the drawer is counted tonight. But, even if they don't, maybe the drive through should be taught to not scoff at spare change being put in the tip jar or make silly passive aggressive comments about it if it's a low amount. Still, I'm giving four stars for strong coffee and making my dog happy with whip cream. Just don't confuse the barista with extra dollars for tips when you're paying. LOL read more

They continue to be awfully slow. There are two types of people that go to Starbucks; those who have something to do, and those who don't. There is a gentle soul who works there who is so slow, that people in line will observe with amazement. There are also so many ways to pay that it really slows down the line. That's a new one. I ordered a regular coffee, no problem here. The employee poured the coffee into the paper cup and asked me if I wanted room for cream - I responded yes Please. So now the employee takes my cup and pours the excess coffee from my cup back into the main coffee container. Really? Not sure if this is standard cost saving at Starbucks, but it does not appear sanitary. Do you put unused cookies back into the shelve for sale? read more

Great if you are in a rush. Employees are always rushed to to high volume of customers. Make sure you tell them to cook your food longer cause they usually serve it half cooked through the drive through. read more

Came and did some work for about 5 hours. My first drink was spot on and fast! Then I sipped on their coffee for the rest of the time. Fantastic customer service! Instantly liked the staff, when I ordered my second drink they actually remembered my name, genuinely seem like nice people! I've gotten terrible service here over the past year. Several of my very simple orders have been screwed up with no apologies. On one occasion, they completely forgot to fill my order. I could be a bit more understanding if it had been busy, but is was a normal size crowd. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I reminded them that I hadn't gotten my drink. Again, they seemed indifferent to their lack of competence. If there were more coffee houses in the area, I would not come here at all. read more
