Inside Out sandwich and a latte.

Really spacious coffeehouse which is so nice if you have a group. There were five of us and we got a table to enjoy a quick breakfast and coffee. The Inside Out sandwich was delicious and the coffee was also quite nice. Fast & friendly service as well.

We love the cozy atmosphere here at coffeehouse five and the coffee is some of the best in Franklin! The baristas are always friendly and helpful. I am disappointed by the fact that they don't offer matcha... I thinks it's a great alternative for those who don't drink coffee and believe every coffee shop should offer it, especially as it's becoming more popular.

Hard to believe you're in Franklin when inside. Love the vibes and the exposed brick. Great options for coffee and non-caffeine people. The chocolate chip cookie, warmed up, was very tasty. Great and friendly service too with ample seating options!

Really liked the Coffeehouse Five in downtown Franklin! Very busy on a Sunday morning but service was spectacular! The spacious coffee shop had lots of seating. Their drink and food menu are great for a coffee shop. I didn't get food on this trip but definitely want to go back and try the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese! Today I got the Peanut Butter Mocha and loved it! It was delicious and I highly recommend!!

Coffeehouse Five has two locations with the original store opening in Greenwood a little over a decade ago. Franklin is the 2nd store opened located on the Franklin Square. I found myself with an extra hour or so with plans of browsing the nearby shops. Unfortunately, the shops are closed on Monday's so that didn't happen. Instead, I decided to check out the Coffeehouse Five location close by. Parking is free with a large parking lot within a block or limited street parking directly in front of the restaurant. The seating area has an assortment of tables and chairs with extremely comfortable, small settees along the back wall. The restaurant has an abundance of natural lighting streaming through the windows with a pleasant, laid-back, and fairly quite, atmosphere. Great location for working on your laptop or catching up with friends over excellent coffee and good food. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and informative. The Coffeehouse Five offers delicious coffee's, pastries, jumbo sized muffins, scones, biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese to parmesan chive biscuits created by their daughter in 4-H. Coffee beans are roasted in-house as well using an airbed roasting system. The coffee was smooth and flavorful minus the bitterness or burnt flavor I often encounter. The lemon bread was moist with a fresh lemon flavor and a light icing. On my drive home, I wished I'd purchased a couple extra slices for home. Coffeehouse Five is a "for benefit" business with goals to build stronger marriages and families in the communities as well as serve a great cup of coffee. They use the net revenue funds in both stores to provide free counseling services and help food pantries. A few of their initiatives are free premarital and marriage counseling, free mentor training, free addiction recovery programs with a portion of monthly proceeds funding other mental health needs. They certainly are giving back and providing a much needed service. Help support local, independent businesses while you enjoy great coffee and food plus helping provide counseling to struggling couples and families in the area.

Disappointed in today's visit. I've been to the Greenwood location several times but this location was larger, nicer and looked to have a good food selection. I was surprised when this came to the table. All of the people around us had panini pressed biscuits with crispy cheese on top that looked amazing. Isn't grilled cheese coated with butter on both sides and grilled? There was hardly any cheese inside, it was barely melted. The sausage patties were super thin and I'm not sure that the description said there was going to be mayo and mustard on it (I could be wrong). My wife's drink was supposed to be a vanilla latte but had no vanilla in it. I tried it and it tasted like an iced coffee with oat milk. It had "L, O" written on her cup so I can only assume it was lost in translation when our order was taken. I'm not sure what was going on here but we will find somewhere else to go next time.

First time trying Coffeehouse Five in Franklin. Cute little spot downtown and lots of space inside for spreading out. I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich for pick-up and it was ready very quickly. Grilled flatbread with cucumber, feta, hummus and sun dried tomatoes. Delicious and could have eaten two as the portion size is on the small side. I give them four stars for food and three stars for the lack of masks. One employee was wearing one, the other had hers hanging on one side off her ear. Patrons in line were not wearing masks and neither were people sitting around doing group projects. They did not have food or drink, so they should have had masks on. Sign is on the door stating masks are required but I will not go back until after the pandemic is over due to the lack of enforcement and the staff members not following guidelines.

I had a job interview that day early in the morning, and then the time of the interview changed to an hour later which gave me some time. It's a happy Monday! Is it weird I love sitting in a coffee shop and watching people? This place is really cute! It's kinda nice since it's close to my place. They have an amazing collection of coffee, Breakfast, and dessert and I like the vibe in this coffee shop. I love the lighting! My favorite spot was by the window and there was a nice plant on the table. The seating is very comfortable. The music is not too loud so I was able to study for my interview. It's a place to study, work, etc. Customer service was wonderful, the lady that helped me was sweet. The parking space is limited.

I stopped by on opening day and you would think that Franklin didn't have any other coffee/donuts shops in town since this place was doing a brisk business! There is a lot of seating inside this spacious store just across from the courthouse. There is a large order counter on the left side as you enter and they also have pasties, simple sandwiches (grilled cheeses), and merchandise for sale. This is the first expansion of the store in Greenwood. Not only do they offer tasty coffee/beverages (incl smoothies) and food, but the profits from the business go into community outreach, providing counseling to individuals and couples that need it. That is often needed by folks who can least afford it. I will say that I didn't get the best reception on my phone sitting towards the back, so if they have Wifi, they need to let folks know the password since my phone was pretty useless while inside. Fortunately, the large blueberry muffin didn't take long to devour with my hot, but not scalding black coffee. The shop is open for regular business Mon-Sat. Review #3720

Franklin, IN was a cute hidden town not far from Camp Atterbury that did not come up when we were searching for Coffee shops. We accidentally stumbled on it and made multiple trips for amazing coffee and a chill lounge. I was particularly impressed with their authenticate five initiatives to support their local community; something that is not common in today's culture. Their breakfast and pastries are delicious as well.

Great Space! Great Coffee! The new Coffeehouse Five location is beautiful! Bright! Full windows on the front - a blend of masonry and dark, rich colors on the inside make this coffee house a calm, relaxing place to spend some time chatting with friends or reading a good book all while enjoying a decent cup of coffee!

And he said the menu will expand again soon. Since I was by myself and he had some time, he sat down and we chatted for awhile. The seating at both restaurants, and you can call them that now since they do not just sell drinks anymore, has been greatly expanded both indoors and outside. He also told me they are working on opening a Plainfield location. I ordered my usual The Slugger on a biscuit for my bread choice (4) with sausage for my meat choice (3) and provolone for my cheese choice (5). It was superb and just how I remembered it from the other location when I was eating breakfast there several days a week about a year ago. I also ordered one Biscuit & Gravy which was excellent as well. I love small local business establishments and cooking. They always have great service and a friendly atmosphere. I parked in the public parking lot across the street since it was a Saturday and street parking was full. The restroom was clean, well stocked and had a pleasant fragrance.
