Starbucks - Houston St. (Omni Fort Worth) I Stopped by to get a To-Go drink in my personal cup. It's located inside Omni Hotel Downtown Fort Worth. It has conveniently two entrances. One from the outside by Valet and one inside the lobby. OUTDATED: If you're coming in for coffee, be aware that they only offer pre-brewed Pike and Dark Roast. Nothing else. This is an older setup and the coffee may not be 100% fresh. They have the older coffee machine setup. ATMOSPHERE: The atmosphere has very limited seating and doesn't look to be ideal place to get work done. I did like their beautiful artwork throughout. BARISTAS: The baristas were ok. They greeted you, but it somewhat felt like they didn't know what they were doing or wanted to be here. OVERPRICED: Being that this Starbucks is inside a hotel, do expect your coffee to be slightly expensive. I ordered Tall Pike Roast, with my personal cup. My total normally with cup discount runs at $2.76. Here, it was $3.63. And after looking at my account, they did not give me personal cup discount. FRANCHISE: After contacting customer service, I found out this is franchise store and not owned by Starbucks. This location may not honor a personal cup discount. Prices will be higher than company owned stores. OVERALL: Overall, my coffee tasted ok. I've had much fresher brewed cup. I would not not recommend this place. This Starbucks is located in the Omni Fort Worth hotel. I stopped in to order a tea before I headed home from a conference and was a bit disappointed with my Chai Latte. This is one of my regular orders when I go to a Starbucks and it just wasn't as flavorful as it usually is. It was good, but usually it's a great drink. Think classic Starbucks, because the store is set up very similarly and offers different drink vessels you can purchase. I'm not sure if the menu is the exact same as a stand-alone coffee shop, but this location still has the same Starbucks feel you expect. Good coffee shop ambiance. If I could give the manager 5 stars for how amazing his drinks are and how kind he is I would , but this reviews is for the employees. if all the employees were as kind as the manager was it would have been one of the best Starbucks I have been to. I have experience as working as a barista at Starbucks and when I sent my boyfriend to order me a drink, I can tell it wasn't made correctly and he decided to go back and see if they could remake it for me. He came back and the drink was worst. I can tell it was made in animosity. It wasn't a hard drink to make and was just a simple brown shaken expresso. I had asked for extra cinnamon and I can tell she opened the cap and dumped the cinnamon on it on purpose. I can tell when someone does things out of spite and the drink I received was exactly that. It's sucks to be that person to complain but when I went back I didn't like how I was treated and being ignored when I was being kind about the situation and just wanted the drink I had bought. I can also tell the third time they made it. They didn't give me my full shots my boyfriend had originally paid for. I honestly just took the drink and went on even thanked them. I would not order coffee here again. Unfortunately, after waiting in a very long line, they got all three drinks wrong. Part of the reason is they had a person at the register who was not properly trained. I felt sorry for her. She did not record our order correctly on the cup and the barista just made what was written down....all three were wrong. However, the reason for a one star rating is because even once they "corrected" the drink order, my latte still tasted like hot milk and so did my daughter's. I even ordered mine with an extra shot. Staying at Omni for two weeks, and I can't say enough about this Starbucks. (I've had it dozens of times over the years when I'm town for various events, and it never disappoints.) The baristas are super friendly, and make quality drinks with every tiny request taken seriously. I'm actually allergic to coffee, so I love that they are thorough in making my cream based drinks. They also are generous with the mocha drizzle or any other special additions, which makes for truly great drinks. The only bummer is that mobile order isn't available, but the baristas are sweet and make it a fun experience, so it's worthwhile. read more

10/3/2022 barista obviously failed the late making training. It's rare but I've seen it before, try to remember it's shot then milk. There is a mixing requirement of the milk dropping into the coffee that blends the flavors. Oh well. read more

3.5/5 This Starbucks is located right in the front of the Omni Hotel in Ft. Worth, although there is also a door out to the street so you don't have to go into the hotel to get your morning fix. I went to this location one of the mornings of A-Kon, which was held across the street in the Ft. Worth Convention Center. Many other people were present and needing their coffee as well, leading to a fairly long line leading out of the small store. My first observation was that this location seemed understaffed. There were 4 employees working, although they did not seemed rushed to meet everyone's orders. They worked at a rather leisurely pace, getting orders complete. While the extra wait may be fine for those who are not in a rush for time, it may be slightly annoying if you need to get somewhere quickly. The price was also higher than the standard Starbucks, probably because of it's location. Overall, it's similar to other Starbucks, but I was disappointed by how long it took to receive my order and the price increase. read more

This is becoming on of the worst locations. I drive over 400 miles a day and frequent various locations. Since i live right here I like to get a cup before leaving for the day. They never have coffee ready. Especially blonde. I dont understand how when you open you dont have what you sell ready. There a numerous staff members that are rude. and they are usually out of the green stoppers for your cup. I just don't understand. I know that they are in the omni and run a little different than the normal Starbucks, but I also know that when you take on the name of a company as large as Starbucks people expect the same quality associated with that name. Located inside the Omni Hotel, there is also a street entrance on Houston. We found this Starbucks after a few beers at the T&P Tavern. The T&P had no hot drinks for these cold December Days, so on our way back to our car (which was parked on Houston up by the Worthington), I knew I could find Thuy something hot to drink once we got closer to Sundance Square. Needless to say I was very happy to find this Starbucks so quickly, as it gave Thuy something warm to drink for that long (her word) walk back to the car. This Starbucks is located inside Omni Hotel. I went one morning before a conference, and seems like many others had the same idea. They had a long line, but it moved steadily. I ordered two beverages and two breakfast sandwiches with a young female staff who were not very polite nor helpful. A little while later, the beverages came out. Then, I waited and waited, no sandwiches. I asked one male staff if he could check on my sandwiches, he quickly responded "it should be coming out right now" without asking my name or my order. I waited and waited, and yes, sandwiches came out, for someone else. And then for someone else again, all of those who were way back in the line after me. Not able to get an attention of any staff, I finally got an attention of manager-looking female who was also working behind the counter. I told her I have been waiting for very long time for my sandwiches. And of course, they forgot about my order. They put in the sandwiches in their toaster at that time. The manager did apologize for the delay, but that couldn't reverse the time that we lost and the bitter taste in my mouth. Took forever for a simple order, we had to eat steaming hot sandwiches in few minutes so that we won't be late for our meeting before the conference started. I was planning to get quick breakfast from here every morning during my stay, but after this experience, I never went back. read more

Do not waste your time here. You have to park behind the Omni building if there's even parking available. You cannot enter Starbucks so you walk all the way around the building and through the entire length of the hotel to get to Starbucks. Once you arrive...they have essentially no signature drink ingredients in stock. Definitely a waste of time and effort. read more

First, no app ordering available. For a hotel with a bunch of tourists who believe ordering their Starbucks is tantamount to arguing a federal case, allowing customers to pre-order through the app not only makes business sense, it's respectful of the time of their patrons. I'm in a line at the Starbucks behind three orders. Each group was led by a mom with a list. Okay--that's part of family/mom life. It took too long, but as stated, they didn't have app ordering, so the details for 5 coffees each could not be worked out in advance. After 15 mins in line, I finally get to the counter and order a plain latte only to be told they have no hot coffee available. The cashier then points to a piece of 8x11 paper lying flat on the counter--ONLY VISIBLE IF YOU GET TO THE COUNTER--that says they have no hot coffee--sorry. The one star comes down to this. If the staff are so clueless they can't reason out that maybe they should post a sign AS YOU ENTER THE STORE saying "hey we have nothing hot at this coffee place you're about to enter where you'll wait 15 mins in line" then that comes down to management. They're responsible for training their staff. I don't think I despise anything more than people wasting my time. I will not go back to this Starbucks. read more

Good Starbucks inside the Fort Worth Omni. I really was disappointed that they don't carry fresh fruit - I love to grab a banana with coffee for breakfast but that wasn't an option here. This is a quiet and clean Starbucks inside the Omni Hotel with a street entrance. It's located right in front of the bus/trolley stop. Bathrooms are clean and inside the hotel. They have a few armchairs for lounging and a couple of small tables. The baristas were really sweet and helped us exchange dollar bills for quarters for our bus fare. read more

Located inside the Omni and across from the FW Convention Center this smaller Starbucks location occasionally has a long line. But if you go at random times like I tend to do, you are greeted with a friendly barista and in and out within 5ish minutes. Since there usually isn't a line when I go, I am able to ask them to whip up off menu beverages like the "blendicano" (ice blended americano with pumps of SF flavoring). The baristas that I have encountered seemed excited to make something different and made sure it was made to my liking. The only downside to this Starbucks is it isn't a place you can easily park at, as it's main target are hotel guests and convention goers or people who live within walking distance (me).
