Cafe Momento has an amazing selection of books for the person who loves art and all things coffee. I truly enjoy the espresso here as it is full of flavor and so smooth. If you're looking for a place to grab a quick coffee and sit outside to enjoy the sun this is the place to visit!
This is my go to Matcha Café to take friends when I want them to have a really good authentic Matcha. I love that café Momento has different menus as the season change. I went recently and tried the Jasmine Yuzu Matcha which has a hint of lemon, which was a nice surprise. Definitely my favorite spring Matcha drink that I've tried. They have a small case with small pastries that like delicious and very artsy. The café itself is very modern, it gives off gallery vibes. They have records too as well as a place where you can drop off film to get a developed which that was pretty neat. There are a few places where you can sit and wait for your drink, but there is only one table that seats four people. I've came here and stayed a few hours just chatting with friends and they love the vibes here there is additional seating outside and the patio area as well as small shops where you can window shop and browse around.
My bf and I stopped by this place when we were visiting family and we usually grab their matcha lattes but wanted to try their coffee. We tried their latte and dirty chai latte -- so so good. I think their chai latte was very cinnamon forward but very warm spiced and reminded me of the fall. The cafe is very modern with some art books/local artists work displayed and vinyls to listen to. The baristas are always so friendly and chill here. We love stopping by here for a nice pick me up. They do have a seasonal menu that they update so make sure to take a look and try them before they're gone!
The location is beautiful, modern, simple, hipster, quiet. I came in looking like a mess after the cowtown marathon to order a chai latte, but they didn't have it, so I got an iced vanilla latte. Oh my goodness! It was so creamy, strong, and refreshing! We got an opportunity to sit, look around the room at all of the art, and chat. Their restroom was located outside in a hall, but was also clean, modern, minimalist. There is ample free parking everywhere in that part of the city, so no problem finding parking. I loved the coffee here so much! This will be a spot to come back to when I'm in the city!
Cafe momento is such a cute little coffee shop that doubles as a book store. Unfortunately I came pretty close to closing so I didn't get a chance to sip my coffee and browse but still appreciated how intentional the environment was. I ordered the cappuccino, which was overall felt okay. A bit disappointed that they didn't carry caramel syrup, which I know is unfortunately becoming pretty common nowadays. A nice place to stop by especially on a nice day out.
This is a more stop in and go- I totally didn't realize that this was a very small boutique like space with only one table and two benches- all not too comfortable. I had already brought my husband and brother and we had driven quite a ways so we decided to stay till we were done working. But note to the wise- if you plan on studying and staying- don't- it's not that type of place. Parking is really hard as well. I think if the cafe was totally empty I would've had a much more enjoyable experience. I was really looking forward to visiting since this design is really unique and rare to find in Texas, reminded me of third wave coffee in Austria when I had visited. I tried two drinks- the cafe de olla cappuccino and the iced miso caramel hojicha latte. I actually really liked the tea latte. Flavor was really good and interesting. The cappuccino however lacked flavor- even with extra syrup- I didn't taste the Mexican coffee syrup like I expected to. Tasted just like a cappuccino with honey I would make at home. The latte art was beautiful though. My total without tip was 15$ with tip and tax $18. I would love for another spot like this to pop up but just with a lot more seating- comfortable seating- and better parking.
I've heard good things about Cafe Momento in Fort Worth and I had the perfect chance to try it since I was in town already. It doubles as a bookstore and had a pretty aesthetic vibe to it. It was very crowded with a line out to the door, and I waited about 15 minutes before I could actually order. I just got the regular matcha latte with vanilla syrup. Unfortunately, the matcha flavor was pretty weak. I wouldn't come back here again
Back again and still love it! There is limited street parking but there is also a free parking lot down the street with plenty of parking. There is limited seating but there are a couple of spaces if you need to get some work done, which I needed. The seasonal matcha was the iced pear soba matcha. Overall the flavor of the pear soba was too light but the matcha was still solid, much better than other places in the are. I can't wait to see what's next on the menu roation.
4.5 stars. Café Momento is such a gem! The interior is gorgeous and truly feels like you're stepping into an art museum. Definitely worth spending some time perusing the art and books. The menu is so creative, make sure to check their Instagram for their current seasonal drinks! I really wanted to try the miso caramel hojicha with black sesame cold foam, but unfortunately I had just missed it. I opted for a regular hojicha latte, with simple syrup. It was perfectly umami and sweet! Make sure you add on a syrup if you prefer your drinks sweetened! My friend ordered a regular matcha latte and it was nothing remarkable, honestly a little milky. I would definitely return to try more of their seasonal menu, if only the drive to Fort Worth wasn't so far. Come to Dallas please!!!
This place was very cute and so cozy. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Match was delicious but I was disappointed that there was no WiFi at a time where I left my mobile internet at home! Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star!!! What cafe doesn't have WiFi? Are you kidding me
This place is a must try if you're in the area!!! I myself am not from the DFW area, but come up here every few months on business, ever since I discovered this place last year I have never come here without visiting at least once. This place holds my title for best Hojicha Latte. Admittedly I haven't tried their other drinks because i'm quite obsessed with their hojicha, but they seem to have a loyal clientele that i'd love to see grow. Space is super small, so it's not ideal for sitting down, but the area features art on the walls and vinyls for purchase -- so it's very much a cool vibe. Please check it out!
This is a very cute spot! Lots of art to browse, very aesthetic, minimal seating. We parallel parked across the street and walked around 9am, it may be difficult to find parking during a busier time. The worker was very kind and did not rush us when ordering, which I appreciated! We ordered 4 of their regular matcha latte with whole milk and simple syrup. They do hand whisk their matcha and the color is beautiful, however we felt like the matcha taste was just not there and it just tasted like milk. I also appreciate that the worker offered us a drink carrier. Matcha wise, I would not reorder but will have to come back to try their coffee!
Although I couldn't taste much pear in this drink, I still loved the quality and taste of the matcha! I also appreciated how they try to do unique seasonal flavors you can't find elsewhere. However, for the size the price is quite steep. They take their time hand whisking the matcha! There's a mini bookstore inside, as well as other items you can browse. There's also limited seating if you'd like to enjoy your drink there.

The most UNFORTUNATE thing about Cafe Memento is that unless you are a local, native Fort Worth resident or are lucky enough to stumble upon this gem of a coffee shop, you are missing out on quality coffee, beans, service, and everything in between. My family and I literally drove up to Fort Worth just for Cafe Memento. Just for coffee, I said it. They always have new and limited coffee items and this time I was lucky enough to try their Cantaloupe Matcha and every sip just blew my socks off!!!! First, let's give credit where credit is due! The flavor profile is pushing the limits of what coffee can be, and challenging conventional flavor boundaries!! It's innovative! And it's showing patrons how matcha-infused creations are redefining what coffee can be! Unleashing great potential. I was really bummed that they were no longer selling mini canele's too!! But the upside is, the owner is planning to expand and take over the space next to her coffee shop and I can't wait to see the expanded coffee shop! Parking is a little tricky! Not sure if there is additional parking elsewhere, but somehow we always get lucky with a parallel parking spot right in front! Limited parking, but it's worth it! And parking is free! They also sell books and a few other non-coffee drink items! They downsized their gift shop items a bit, but hoping they bring that back once the shop expands! But, if you are lucky enough to try their coffee, DO IT!!! You won't be disappointed. read more

My little one and I received a warm welcome by the staff behind the counter. They were both friendly and welcoming. The lady who took my order was patient and recommended the perfect drink based on what I said I liked and her asking follow-up questions, which honestly is huge because that shows their commitment to ensuring their customers are happy with what they order. I decided on their seasonal drink, Jasmine Yuzu matcha. Oooh-Mmm-Geee, this has got to be one of my top favorite matcha drinks. I was able to taste the umami of all the ingredients in this holy grail. From the Jasmine tea syrup, matcha, and Yuzu citrus cream. It was such a symphony of flavors bursting in my mouth. This is definitely the perfect summer matcha drink.10/5. The ambience is pretty mellow and the interior is small, but it had a great amount of personality with their art and different displays. There are a few spots for 6-10 people or so to sit or stand around in the seating areas and spaces available inside.I had a positive experience and my drink was AMAZING. I'll definitely have to stop by soon and if you have yet to stop by, I highly recommend you do. read more

My friend was in town and she's a big fan of matcha and I took her here to check it out. I got the seasonal hoijcha and she got a regular matcha latte, and my husband got a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was really good but the other drinks were ok. We think that the drinks were very overpriced. I paid almost $9 for my hoijcha drink :) It's a unique coffee/art gallery concept. We went on a Sunday and it was super crowded so the service was a little slow. But definitely worth checking it out, a cool coffee shop concept! read more

I visited cafe momento on a Saturday morning, interested in trying their matcha and hojicha drinks. The shop is small and has few seating - most people take their drinks to-go. I ordered a strawberry matcha with oat milk (oat milk substitute is free of charge), and a miso caramel hojicha w/ black sesame + whole milk. Service is pretty quick. I absolutely fell in love with their hojicha. It's the perfect amount of sweetness and nuttiness. I can see why it's highly raved about, and it's a drink I would order again. Personally, I thought the strawberry matcha was okay. The strawberry puree part is sweet so it overpowers the flavor of the matcha, so I wasn't able to taste much of the matcha. Next time, I will have to try their regular matcha latte. It is nice though that oat milk doesn't cost extra. They have a decent menu and an interesting variety of seasonal drinks that I will have to try next time I come visit! read more

High quality coffee and really unique seasonal drinks! The employees there are super friendly and inviting, and the cafe has a cool bookstore vibe with curated items, books, magazines, snacks and drinks. Definitely worth checking out and is a must-go coffee shop in ft worth. read more

super trendy spot, very aesthetic inside and the service is reasonably quick even when it's busy. The menu (esp the seasonal menu) is really the draw here. They have really cool combinations like persimmon latte or coconut jackfruit. I am partial to a good espresso tonic and a cirrus one at that is just my personal cherry on top. I do recommend this spot, but there isn't much seating, so best to look around at the books and prints, but then take your coffee to walk around the neighborhood. Also their sign said no public wifi. read more

Only been here once, but immediately loved this place! It's definitely tiny inside, but a great place to get a quick coffee on the way to work. There's street parking and a lot nearby for the complex. They had some seasonal flavors that I never had before. I tried something I was more comfortable with, which was the Miso Caramel Hojicha, which was excellent. I also like how oat milk is not an extra charge, definitely a plus. The one I want to try next is the Persimmon Cappuccino which sounds so interesting. I'll prob try it on my lunch break some time. If you happen to be in the area or live nearby, you need to come here and support this small business providing quality coffee. read more

5/5 Drink Had the strawberry matcha, seasonal drink, really good balance between the matcha and strawberry puree, one did not overpower the other. 5/5 Service, barista was dope and chill to talk to. The ambiance is clean and cute museum vibe. The only thing that would make it more perfect is a study space with more tables. Yuzu matcha lemonade = actually a perfect summer drink if u want something light/fresh. Coconut jackfruit cappuccino = already big fan of jackfruit & it was nice flavor profile of great coffee with a kick of tropical goodness There were a lot of people in line and the baristas were super nice + efficient on getting out the drinks. read more
Trendy spot with great coffee! I had heard a lot of hype about this place and we finally tried it October 2024. The inside is small and is more bookstore than I expected. Very limited seating though there was some outside too. Great menu of drinks. My husband got an espresso which he enjoyed and my hot mocha was smooth and flavorful. Not exactly a kid friendly place but very trendy and hip! Staff were good at what they did but not very personable. read more
Cozy & fun coffee shop in downtown Fort Worth. It's a little hard to find because the door is somewhat hidden from the Main Street. But don't give up on looking. You will not regret it. The cafe is cute and has a plethora of art, records, books, and other items that you could peruse or purchase. It looks like a really great place to relax or study and enjoy coffee or matcha. The service is amazing. The staff is so friendly and informative. I'm in my matcha girly phase so I ordered an iced vanilla matcha latte with oat milk. I was so happy to see that they hand whisk their matcha. The matcha latte was perfect. The vanilla didn't overwhelm the matcha and the matcha was creamy and nutty. I also purchased a tin of Kettl matcha they had in store. I have been wanting to try that brand and was so excited when I saw it on their shelf. Will definitely return! read more

This is my new favorite coffee spot in Fort Worth! The interior is so pretty and features artist works as well as magazines, books, and goods to buy. The coffee is so yummy, I recommend the fall seasonal drinks and the matcha. The matcha here is a nice deep green with full flavor, which matcha lovers know is often not the case at many cafés. The service is always friendly and quick. I wish I lived closer so I could stop by every week! read more

Wowwww this place exceeded my expectations for a coffee shop in Ft Worth-you'd never think you were in Texas! It's super modern with a chill vibe. I got the yuzu black tea and it was delicious. The workers are super sweet and answered all of my questions. I'm definitely returning! read more
