The location is beautiful, modern, simple, hipster, quiet. I came in looking like a mess after the cowtown marathon to order a chai latte, but they didn't have it, so I got an iced vanilla latte. Oh my goodness! It was so creamy, strong, and refreshing! We got an opportunity to sit, look around the room at all of the art, and chat. Their restroom was located outside in a hall, but was also clean, modern, minimalist. There is ample free parking everywhere in that part of the city, so no problem finding parking. Worth so much!! by happen chance we stumbled upon café Momento because it was near our Airbnb. If an art gallery and bookstore had a baby, it would birth Cafe Memento! This is a more stop in and go- I totally didn't realize that this was a very small boutique like space with only one table and two benches- all not too comfortable. I had already brought my husband and brother and we had driven quite a ways so we decided to stay till we were done working. But note to the wise- if you plan on studying and staying- don't- it's not that type of place. Parking is really hard as well. I think if the cafe was totally empty I would've had a much more enjoyable experience. I was really looking forward to visiting since this design is really unique and rare to find in Texas, reminded me of third wave coffee in Austria when I had visited. I tried two drinks- the cafe de olla cappuccino and the iced miso caramel hojicha latte. I actually really liked the tea latte. Flavor was really good and interesting. The cappuccino however lacked flavor- even with extra syrup- I didn't taste the Mexican coffee syrup like I expected to. Tasted just like a cappuccino with honey I would make at home. The latte art was beautiful though. My total without tip was 15$ with tip and tax $18. I would love for another spot like this to pop up but just with a lot more seating- comfortable seating- and better parking. read more

Back again and still love it! There is limited street parking but there is also a free parking lot down the street with plenty of parking. There is limited seating but there are a couple of spaces if you need to get some work done, which I needed. The seasonal matcha was the iced pear soba matcha. Overall the flavor of the pear soba was too light but the matcha was still solid, much better than other places in the are. I can't wait to see what's next on the menu roation. read more

This is a very cute spot! Lots of art to browse, very aesthetic, minimal seating. We parallel parked across the street and walked around 9am, it may be difficult to find parking during a busier time. The worker was very kind and did not rush us when ordering, which I appreciated! We ordered 4 of their regular matcha latte with whole milk and simple syrup. They do hand whisk their matcha and the color is beautiful, however we felt like the matcha taste was just not there and it just tasted like milk. I really wanted to try the miso caramel hojicha with black sesame cold foam, but unfortunately I had just missed it. I opted for a regular hojicha latte, with simple syrup. It was perfectly umami and sweet! Make sure you add on a syrup if you prefer your drinks sweetened! My friend ordered a regular matcha latte and it was nothing remarkable, honestly a little milky. When they did, they didn't know what a cafe au lait was, but instead of asking, took their time to make nothing and then looked confused and uncertain about what to do when they handed me lukewarm coffee with some milk from the fridge, and I said, "oh, this isn't a cafe au lait." No offer to make the right drink, or even an apology. I literally walked out: the door because I didn't have time or energy to deal with both poor service and cluelessness. I visited cafe momento on a Saturday morning, interested in trying their matcha and hojicha drinks. The shop is small and has few seating - most people take their drinks to-go. I ordered a strawberry matcha with oat milk (oat milk substitute is free of charge), and a miso caramel hojicha w/ black sesame + whole milk. Service is pretty quick. I absolutely fell in love with their hojicha. It's the perfect amount of sweetness and nuttiness. I can see why it's highly raved about, and it's a drink I would order again. Personally, I thought the strawberry matcha was okay. The strawberry puree part is sweet so it overpowers the flavor of the matcha, so I wasn't able to taste much of the matcha. Next time, I will have to try their regular matcha latte. It is nice though that oat milk doesn't cost extra. super trendy spot, very aesthetic inside and the service is reasonably quick even when it's busy. The menu (esp the seasonal menu) is really the draw here. They have really cool combinations like persimmon latte or coconut jackfruit. I am partial to a good espresso tonic and a cirrus one at that is just my personal cherry on top. I do recommend this spot, but there isn't much seating, so best to look around at the books and prints, but then take your coffee to walk around the neighborhood. Only been here once, but immediately loved this place! It's definitely tiny inside, but a great place to get a quick coffee on the way to work. There's street parking and a lot nearby for the complex. They had some seasonal flavors that I never had before. I tried something I was more comfortable with, which was the Miso Caramel Hojicha, which was excellent. I also like how oat milk is not an extra charge, definitely a plus. The one I want to try next is the Persimmon Cappuccino which sounds so interesting. I'll prob try it on my lunch break some time. Cozy & fun coffee shop in downtown Fort Worth. It's a little hard to find because the door is somewhat hidden from the Main Street. But don't give up on looking. You will not regret it. Charming little spot that makes a delicious flat white. We showed up on a Sunday morning just before a bagel pop up opened so there was a huge crowd there for that but the coffee was put out quickly and with warm and friendly service. Parking is on the street and there were chairs outside to get away from the crowd inside. Pricing was on par with places that take the coffee seriously. I particularly appreciated their pour over pricing being determined by the coffee itself as well as the amount of labor that goes into doing a manual pour over because with how small they are, it pulls a barista away from making other drinks. Maybe eventually they could make the decision to go with something automated for those like even an XBloom studio but I just really loved their vibe even in the midst of a busy morning. They were efficient but seemed appreciative of people coming out. Sometimes that gets lost when a place is really busy. The drink was phenomenal as well. I've been to other places when in town to visit but this is probably going to be my go to from now on. read more

This coffee shop is located in a small community of local shops. I've been here a couple of times and the customer service is friendly and quick. Cafe Momento reminds me of a local art gallery combined with a coffee shop. Apart from having treats and drinks they sell magazines and stationery supplies. The prices are on par with local coffee shops. I tried their oatmeal with regular milk which comes with apple slices and brown sugar which was delicious and satisfied my sweet tooth.
