I guess I have to give it one star but this is the absolute worst Starbucks I have ever been to in my 35 years of going. I hate to admit, but I come to Starbucks daily if not twice a day. I am not exaggerating at all, I have been in this line for over 27 minutes and I still have three cars in front of me. We come here on our way out of town to our in-laws and the family fights every time because I want to stop, but they are consistently bad; taste, service, and waiting time. Wow, how time flies. The last time I was here, I was visiting the Santa Barbara area and as I write this, I now live in Oxnard but a lot of my work is in the Fillmore area so I pass by the Starbucks at least 1-2x a day. The shop has been remodeled since my last visit. The layout is nice with just one long counter as the main focus. It's pretty easy to spot the ordering counter from the pickup counter. There is not enough space for bigger study groups. The seating is mostly high barstools for seating 2 per table and there were 2 larger regular sized tables that seat 4-5 people. There were also 3 smaller tables with 2 seats each. There is some patio seating available outside. I placed my order at the order counter and it was ready in about 5 minutes. There is only one bathroom available and it was kind of gross this visit. The toilet seat was pretty dirty with dried urine sprinkled on it. read more

Natania was incredibly rude, I had a pick up order that was ready and she had me leave the store because they had already closed. Online it shows they close at 10pm, and it was 9:06pm. Asked Natania if she could give me my order since the drive through line was big. Natania said she couldn't. My order was ready, and she had me go through the drive through with a huge line of vehicles. I know how slow they are here too. I travel alot, and this is my least favorite location. I've visited this Starbucks location many times but only their drive-thru, which I have not complaints about. When I was in the area with my family recently, we decided to go inside to not be in the car for a few minutes and found the space very small and claustrophobic with the number of people around. There were very few tables and no comfy chairs; definitely not a place to power up your computer while leisurely drinking coffee and eating a pastry...better off using the drive thru to get your coffee and food. My biggest ding on this location is the unevenness in the delivery of our order. We got our beverages first and our sandwiches and pastries one at a time...5mins apart, which of course doesn't happen in the drive thru...nor at other Starbucks locations. Clearly this location is all about the drive thru and in-store customers are nothing more than an afterthought. PS: the one restroom, expect to wait in line, was clean...so that's something. read more

This one comes straight from the heart of a grateful dog dad. See, my pup, Chance, just turned 6, and to celebrate, we swung by the drive-thru for his customary pupcup. Now, Starbucks always makes him feel special, but this time they went above and beyond. Not only was his pupcup perfectly whipped and ready to go, but they drew little balloons on the cup and even wrote "Happy Birthday" for him! It was such a small touch, but it made his day (and honestly, mine too). Seriously, everyone involved in that interaction deserves a raise! You guys are the best. Just a pro-tip for my fellow truck owners out there: the drive-thru can be a bit tight for larger vehicles, especially F-150s like mine. Maybe park and go inside if your pup's feeling extra fancy. This is the slowest Starbucks. I mobile ordered and got here at the time the app said to. Waited 10 min longer. Watched customers order, get their drinks, and leave. Watched many cars enter the drive through and leave before I said something. And the lady had the nerve to tell me that 'there are still a few orders ahead of me' like l'm stupid. This place gave my mom and I food poisoning. Before heading for our roadtrip we stopped here and ordered their feta, spinach and egg white wrap with a ham and cheese croissant. Within an hour or less we felt stomach cramps and had to make several stops to use the restroom. I called corporate to report all this and said that they would email and report what happened. It's going on day 4 and still dealing with stomach pain and diarrhea. Have my doctors appointment coming up. Hope it's nothing serious. But this Starbucks needs to be on top of their stuff! If you're in a hurry, skip this one. 9/10 it's packed and/or just slow. Some days are better than others but I'll say that at least two or three times I've called in a pizza from next door while in the Starbucks drive thru and the pizza is ready first lol Drinks are mostly good. This location get a 5 for how hard these young people are working here. This is off a major HWY and gets extremely busy. Yes when I stop here going and coming from the beach I know I will wait especially the mornings. There was a woman complaining and being very rude to them my last visit. With all the stress of this busy morning Saturday rush the staff was very attentive and smiling. There was no reason to be rude to them. I will say this location could use another oven for the hot items and that falls on the owner or Starbucks not the employees. This is the worst Starbucks ever . A drive through line should not take 30 minutes to get through. I've given up on trying to get a correct order, every time it's wrong... I don't know how you can literally mess up an ice coffee with mocha but they somehow do it. I'll stick to driving to simi and going to those locations as they have never made 'em Wait 30 plus mins to get through a line that is supposed to be convenient to those on the road. We've had our fair share of warm days, yesterday I ordered a cold refreshing drink to cool me off after some work in the sunshine. Went to Starbucks in Fillmore and as I often do I requested a large cup of ice water for the road, normally the barista thinks a small cup should do, apparently, but yesterday's barista actually passed me a "Large" just like I requested, I felt they deserved a tip and a review. The other cold drink too helped me to be alert for the next several hours of driving. To be honest I've never had any complaints about this Fillmore Starbucks . In the mornings the drive thru line is atrocious and it's not well organized at all. They should re-do the whole drive thru line so it doesn't line up in the vons parking lot blocking people in. It's the only Starbucks in town so I can't be too picky. The service here can sometimes be a hit and miss, however the last time I went the girl taking orders in the drive thru was so sweet! I believe her name was Raeleen? I was at the window paying with the app and she told me I had enough stars to redeem a free pastry. So I decided the banana bread sounded good, and she asked if I wanted it heated up, I said if it's not too much of a problem sure. She smiled and said of course no problem! There's people jumping in line from all corners of the parking lot cutting people off that have already been waiting. No common courtesy and no help from Starbucks! This is the worst Starbucks next to the one in Oxnard by Walmart. It is super small and crowded. The drive thru is a joke. The speaker was moved back several years ago causing major back ups i to the parking lot. People will cut in front of you and disregard you waiting in line. Then if you do a mobile order it wont be done on time because there are so many people inside. This Starbucks is in the worst location in the Vons shopping center.
