We always make sure to stop here if we're passing by. They have fruits, veggies, nuts, candy, honey, and some decor, amongst other things. They are pretty fairly priced but it can add up quickly if you get too excited getting a bit of everything. We like to come by during berry season. We also come for pumpkin season. They have a few rows of fruits where you can shop and pick yourself. Sometimes they will also have pre selected boxes where you can't swap, just take as is. I do think it's better to pick your own fruit. We've gotten pre selected boxes before and haven't had great luck, with some fruit being old and on the verge of expiring. Good to know: they have a giant pokeball for decoration by the parking lot, which makes a good photo op for kids (and adults too). read more

I always want to stop here and I always forget or realize as I'm already passing it by too quickly but I'm glad I stopped in! Everything in here looks amazing and clean. The strawberries especially! It wasn't too busy when I pulled in and as I was looking it got very busy! By the time I got into line the line was wrapping around their little store (which is nextdoor to this area pictured here) With the strawberries looking so good I couldn't pass them up! Short visit today only drove by to pick up some citrus some strawberries and a couple of avocados which is basically all they had on the floor today which was a slight disappointment as I was looking for a little more variety but apparently I don't know what seasons are which for fruit which makes me the dummy. Anyway great visit the staff is always helpful in explaining the difference between certain fruits and citruses. They also have the section of the roasted cashews, peanuts pecans, which is always a blessing and yes I get a bunch here once a month. ummm, they say it is in Fillmore but it is actually in Piru and sits between the two communities. Driving west on SR 126 you will notice it on the left side of the street. You can't miss it. The place is full of fresh produce and other goodies (nuts, snacks, etc.). Plus they offer beverages. If like us, you are on a road trip and looking for some fresh produce, Francisco's is a nice find. Prices are affordable and best of all everything if fresh. There is a large parking lot as well as seats to relax while taking a break. read more

If you drive thru this area in search of some fruits, stop here! They have so many fruits, candies and it's a good place to stop and stretch your legs. There is a restroom if you're in dire need of a bathroom break. I bought 16 lbs of oranges for $5.99 and they were so juicy. This place is such a treat every time we come by. I love to get the peanut brittle and the chili pistachios. It's literally out by its own on the side of the highway. CURBSIDE APPEAL It's not everyday that I will happen to be driving through Fillmore... but Francisco Fruits had me at first glance. On this beautiful, sunny southern california day, the happy bright signage and the flurry of people actively selecting their fruits and veges drew me in. I figured out a way to park easily/quickly and the vendor welcomed me with a smile and offered a taste of their flavorful heirloom tomatoes. As I explored, I found an array of vibrant fruits--crisp apples, ripe avocados, and sweet grapes. The vendor shared stories and tips about the produce. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and left with a pretty full bag of fresh treasures. The only thing I have to remember to do is to consume it right away !! or it will go south quickly I will be back for their heirloom tomatoes of all colours and sizes ... for sure ! read more

We stopped by just before closing during a heat wave. It was so so hot but the employees still had a smile and were nice! The watermelon we bought was the best one we had this season and the strawberries and avocados were good as well. There was a large assortment of oranges we will have to try next time. read more

Spotted this location on our vacation and had to turn around to check it out. All of the fresh produce was amazing to see. We don't have anything like this where we live. Picked up tomatoes, onion, lime and avocados, for guacamole later that night. Turned out great, so much flavor. Got 2 navel oranges and a package of Yogurt pretzels as well for snacks. The oranges were the juiciest I have ever had. Very hard to peel and eat, but wished I had picked up more for juice. This was a lot of fun, and everything looked great. read more

Citrus on citrus. I won't lie, the Pokeball caught my eye first and then I noticed all the fruits in the stand. I was starving for a some candy and there are so many options here! After I packed my bags full of citrus (as you can never get enough Vitamin C), I ransacked the candy section. There's also regular produce, but it's limited in selection compared to all the fruits. I bought some beans since it is still "winter" and could use some for my soups. I would consider this a steal considering how much I was able to buy in addition to the candy. There's a seated area right near the Pokeball so if you feel like eating all your produce in once sitting, you certainly can. read more

Next to the fwy driving through Filmore are farms of every kind. We pulled off when we found this place and what a treat! We filled a box with Valencia oranges it's 16 lbs. for $5.00 that's only .31 cents a lb. We also bought a 1/2 flag of strawberries so big and sweet and all red no green. We also bought some zucchini and plums. Great stop for fresh farm to table freshness. read more

One of my all time favorite fruit stands coming back from visiting family in Santa Paula. My dad and I would always stop here since I was little. Now whenever I drive the 126 this is my go to stop. Love the fresh produce here! I come to get fresh oranges and other seasonal fruit. Some of it appears a bit distressed but it is still fresher than what you would find in a grocery store. Stopped by this fruit stand after a long weekend of camping. Oranges that were smaller and not as nice looking, you could fill up a box for $5. I made so much freshly squeezed orange juice from that box and it was all delicious. Strawberries were good and the red onions I picked up were eye wateringly fresh. We were making our way back from Santa Barbara and drove past this fruit stand, what caught my eye was a sign that read :$5.00- fill up a box of oranges. So, hubby made his way back. There is plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building. There was a pretty good amount of people there compared to all the other fruit stands you come across on Hwy 126. We found the area where you pack your own orange box but we decided to pass. The oranges were very small & didn't look too appealing, at least not to my taste. So, we checked out the candy section and they have so many selections! Everything from cold drinks,dry fruit, tajin mango, beef jerky ( by the pre-packed bag or by the strip) large selection of honey, olives, nuts, & a good variety of Mexican candy( my favorite). You can also purchase fresh produce & they had different types of pumpkins. If you want to add a chili pepper plant to your garden.... they have that available for purchase as well. This is a cool spot to stop by either before you go to the beach or on your way home to have a snack for the road!
