Awesome!! So many delicious looking produce and great prices. Can spend a lot of time admiring the fruits and vegetables. Great for gifts! Careful packing the boxes/crates in your car though - saw lots of spiders on the produce crates.

CURBSIDE APPEAL It's not everyday that I will happen to be driving through Fillmore... but Francisco Fruits had me at first glance. On this beautiful, sunny southern california day, the happy bright signage and the flurry of people actively selecting their fruits and veges drew me in. I figured out a way to park easily/quickly and the vendor welcomed me with a smile and offered a taste of their flavorful heirloom tomatoes. As I explored, I found an array of vibrant fruits--crisp apples, ripe avocados, and sweet grapes. The vendor shared stories and tips about the produce. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and left with a pretty full bag of fresh treasures. The only thing I have to remember to do is to consume it right away !! or it will go south quickly I will be back for their heirloom tomatoes of all colours and sizes ... for sure !

We stopped by just before closing during a heat wave. It was so so hot but the employees still had a smile and were nice! The watermelon we bought was the best one we had this season and the strawberries and avocados were good as well. There was a large assortment of oranges we will have to try next time.

Spotted this location on our vacation and had to turn around to check it out. All of the fresh produce was amazing to see. We don't have anything like this where we live. Picked up tomatoes, onion, lime and avocados, for guacamole later that night. Turned out great, so much flavor. Got 2 navel oranges and a package of Yogurt pretzels as well for snacks. The oranges were the juiciest I have ever had. Very hard to peel and eat, but wished I had picked up more for juice. This was a lot of fun, and everything looked great.

Visiting California and this place was a must stop on my list to fill my fridge with fruits and vegetables for this trip! It's a nice cruise going down hill from the main highway and arriving at this incredible market was as exciting as you walk through the fruit stands. You have to embrace the present to enjoy what they have to offer and take pics to share with friends and family! When you don't have this back home, I raised some eyebrows around me because I felt like kid again.

Citrus on citrus. I won't lie, the Pokeball caught my eye first and then I noticed all the fruits in the stand. I was starving for a some candy and there are so many options here! After I packed my bags full of citrus (as you can never get enough Vitamin C), I ransacked the candy section. There's also regular produce, but it's limited in selection compared to all the fruits. I bought some beans since it is still "winter" and could use some for my soups. I would consider this a steal considering how much I was able to buy in addition to the candy. There's a seated area right near the Pokeball so if you feel like eating all your produce in once sitting, you certainly can.

Definitely better than what I get at grocery stores. I am always frustrated when I have been buying oranges lately at any grocery store as they end up being dry. Tons of hachiya and fuyu persimmons right now. The oranges are not pretty, but they are very juicy and somewhat sweet.

It was a pleasure to shop there. Service was good all the time. It's always fun to find things that you can't at the grocery store.

Fun place! Nice stop on the way to the beach or back. Reminds me of before industrial food became the standard.

Of course we were going to check it out. Perfectly, we had our three year old granddaughter with us, and this farm venue was perfect for her. Once we parked she immediately found the Children's Garden / play area. Swings, slides, an airplane-inspired teeter-totter, a wooden train to explore, trampoline, and much more awaited her energy. The play structures weren't fancy, but the kids were having a great time. The host asking guests to check in explained all the activities going on at different venues. Guided tours happened several times during the day. Visits to the animals were encouraged. We checked out "Spike the Tortoise" in his custom enclosure, and a playful litter of kittens in their own space. We also caught a tactor-drawn hay ride for an overview of the farm animals' area, plus row crops, and much more to see in a peaceful setting. They are only open to the public on certain days, but we were told that private tours may be arranged. If you have the chance to visit, I'd definitely recommend it! And now I can't wait to go back to Sage Bistro and enjoy more dairy-free foodie taste adventures.

*** CSA Box #3 *** I…read morehad high hopes for this, our third CSA box. It was the mid price point between the two boxes that we had previously tried (County Line Harvest #1 & Edible Gardens LA #2 - see respective reviews) so I thought maybe it would be the winner. Also, it's from the farm that is owned by the the family behind Sage Organic Vegan Bistro, which is in my opinion the best Vegan restaurant in Los Angeles. I thought it was pretty cool to learn that they have their own farm supplying produce to their restaurants, and that we were able to get CSA boxes from their farm. To order this farm box, you must place an order by 4 pm on Thursday for Friday delivery (via their website). $50 is inclusive of delivery. If you opt to pick it up yourself, it's still $50. My order arrived some time between noon and 1 pm on Friday (I did not receive an email or text, but I know that it showed up some time in that window based on when I checked the doorstep). The box was large and I laid the contents out on my counter as I always do: 2 Leeks 1 Head of Cauliflower 1 Head of Cabbage 2 Heads of Broccoli 3 Tomatoes 2 Small Boxes of Cherry Tomatoes 4 Avocados 4 Lemons 2 Grapefruit 11 Oranges Lacinato Kale 4 Cucumbers 3 Beets 1 Small Bag of Peppers 4 Carrots Romaine Fresh Mint A couple days later, the vegetables that we have yet to consume are already wilting or browning; with the others, it felt like we had cut out the time and middle man between the farm and the grocery stores, but not the case here. One of the lemons was even a little moldy when it arrived. We determined that the fruit & produce is not any fresher than what we get at Whole Foods (and in some cases even a little less fresh, which we can't quite wrap our heads around) and the quality also about the same. Not bad, just not on the same level as the other CSA boxes that we got, and definitely not worth $50.

I love their hot food station & they have some of the best fried chicken in the game if you catch them when they have a fresh batch out. I really only stop here primarily for some chicken. I love their crispy batter and it has really a good flavor and seasoning. The only hit or miss depends on how fresh it is. When I catch them on a good day it's a 10/10. Sometimes though I go too late and the chicken is a little dry. It's a gamble I'm willing to take though because it is that good. Also you can't beat the prices, crazy cheap. I walked out with three pieces of fried chicken for $3.50 I really don't know how you can beat that when one piece of fried chicken at a chain fast food joint is that price. The grocery store itself is small but has a good variety of items. A nice meat counter and on the other side are desserts and pastries. I stay away from that side so I won't be even more tempted but they have some great ready to eat items here. Staff are always nice and friendly.
