It was a hot day and a smoothie sounded really good. My sis mentioned this place and to our surprise they were open on Mother's Day! I got a small #6 banana berries and my sis got the #2 blueberry mix in a large. They each came out with a strawberry on top. You can taste the banana in the first sip on mine, and the cream of the coconut made it extra refreshing. The menu has a lot to offer, from smoothies to acai, fresh fruit, boba and so much more. It is a smaller shop with some seating inside as well. Service is great, drinks came out quickly. read more

I don't do reviews but it's my 5th time coming to Fruity Culture. They deserve my time for a review. We love this place, great prices, great customer service, delicious items, great atmosphere really clean. My husband and I like coming here because the food is always fresh and we have options for us and my 3 kids. This place is good! Considering there's not many places that sell açaí bowls in Fillmore besides Jamba Juice. I got the apple route bowl and a vanilla ice blended coffee. They were both very good and hit the spot on a warm day. They have a wide variety of açaí bowls, fresh juices, icecream and even boba. Pretty good size and selection they have everything from aquas frescas , ice cream , mangonada , tostilocos , açaí bowls , fresh pressed juice and smoothies . The prices are pretty reasonable . It's $6,7 and $8 for fresh pressed Juices ranging from 16 oz to 32 oz.. I got an energy juice which is kale, lime, carrots , apples and ginger. It was delicious . Their açaí bowls come in two sizes small which is $9 and large which is $10 and they have different kinds . They have a wide range of Mexican type fruit snacks and they have fruit bowls . You can choose up to 5 fruits and bases and sauces. They are only 7 or 8 bucks so a pretty good deal I think. So if you're looking for an healthy option in Fillmore I think this a great place to stop by. I will be back to try some more of the things they offer and I hope you will too ! read more

Absolutely awful. Way over-priced, underwhelming açai ($28 for 2 bowls and weak flavor, my husband didn't even finish his he was so disappointed with it and I shared mine w/ my son). Not only that but when I said to the employee who handed them to me "you'd think for as expensive as this place is they could afford to keep the bathroom stocked with soap and paper towels- you're all out in the bathroom" he replied "oh, really?" But he was the one in the bathroom right before I went in so he clearly doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom if he didn't even notice there was hardly any soap left and no paper towels in there? Lo and behold just 2 days later my husband and I got so terribly ill with major gastrointestinal issues that lasted an entire week! Needless to say we will never be returning here. Happend to be in the area and decided to grab a refreshing snack from this establishment. Perhaps, I should have ran out once I saw the odd furniture and the weird so called remodeling job that was in progress. After about a 5 minute wait, I decided to order the fruit cup. They were out of almost everything such as strawberries and the other choices for fruit. How do you run out of fruit on the weekend? Poor management? Honestly not sure how you can explain this given there is a super market next door that sells fruit. Anyway, to top off my fruit I went with pecans and shredded coconut. My husband ordered a coconut smoothie, something he rarely gets but he was in the mood for a refreshing drink with coconut. They write your order on manilla folder stickers which is a bit odd. We asked to use the restroom although it had a sign saying "closed and only for customers". I was mortified at the disgusting condition of the bathroom. Honestly, never in my life have I come across such a filthy restroom. There was feces all over the toliet bowl, no toliet paper, no towels. How long had it been since someone cleaned this restroom? Are the employees using this restroom? Given the major public health concern found with the conditions of the restroom, I will never return to this establishment. As I was in the back horrified of the restroom condition, I also noticed a large amount flies in the back of the kitchen. Yuck! So at this point, I'm about to walk out and just forget about my order but my husband assures me we will get our order soon and we can leave. Well 15 minutes later we finally get our order...long wait, yes. At the same time one of the staff comes in with a bowl and no mask. Oh gosh...where is your mask lady? And she goes in the back and starts to work on whatever was in her bowl. During covid and no mask? Again, I was horrified. We took our long awaited order to the car and surprise, my order is missing the shredded coconut and pecans. I was not going to walk back in there and at this point was done and never coming back. My husbands coconut smoothie tasted more like a sour apple smoothie with no resemblance of coconut. read more

I visited Fruity Culture on an early weekend evening. There were not many other customers inside, but the establishment seems to get a lot of phone orders. I was in the mood for coconut, but there were not a lot of coconut options, so I decided to try the Cocomix smoothie. This place takes credit card payments but has no POS system, so orders are handwritten on Manila folder labels. Flies abounded the interior. The bathroom says it is closed to the public, but it is open to customers who ask for it, and is disgustingly filthy. Moreover, the restrooms were out of toilet paper, seat coverings, and paper towels. The wait for the smoothie was about 15 minutes. The smoothie itself was fair, as the addition of kale to a coconut-based smoothie tasted weird, and gave the drink a green color. I could have opted for a custom smoothie, but wanted to give the set menu a chance. On the plus side, all the fruit is fresh. The workers are cordial but seem rushed in their work. read more

I have gone 3 times already for the acai bowl, that I enjoyed so much. I have even introduced it to my co workers and felt the same! The reason I will give this place 3 stars is only because of the wait. The one employee working does their to best to be efficient. I feel waiting like 15 min for a bowl is a bit excessive, when there is just one other customer in there. I have waited an average of 10 to 15 for all my visits there. They say they open at 10AM However, I have gone by several times around 10:30AM to try and get fruit. They have been CLOSED.. It's a hit or miss with the freshness/ripeness of their fruit. Now, onto the reason why I will not be going back!, I had heard that their fruit/veggie drinks were "pathetic" and they didn't know how to make them?, well, I had to try it for myself. I really should had saved my $6.10 on their small drink and went to Santa Paula where they know how to make a drink and it's cheaper!!!. The drink taste more like water and lemon. I got the metabolism drink.. Cucumber, beetroot, ginger and lemon. Well, it was horrible to say the least. And to top it off, the actual drink itself was half full!! Now, I wouldn't mind spending $10 on a drink if it was full of what is listed and they don't add water to it... If they keep pushing customers away, this place will not stand a chance.
