Fortunately they give u cups that are leaking and are making so much cash they can't take the time to even do the bare minimum for their guests. They didn't ask if we needed a stopper this time either. Last time they handed us two in the drive-thru and the lids popped off one and burned us. The dark roast on hand is very hot! I went to starbucks and im a young high school students and I don't have a debit card so i paid in quarters a few times (maybe once every other week) and one of the cashier ladies seems to have a problem because it takes an extra 45 seconds maybe a minute to count the coins. I always have the exact amount i tell them and i have it ready at the window. she has the audacity to say i can't be doing that. But it's us currency. I've given this Starbucks a few tries and each time disappointing. The drinks are never made well... see my caramel Frappuccino picture attached? It was white in color. Caramel and coffee would make the drink tan/brown if made right . My experiences have all been like this at this location. I was in the Elgin area and decided to stop for coffee. The drive-thru was a little busy so I opted to go in. I was surprised when I walked in. I mean, if you've seen one Starbucks, you've seen them all. Walking into this one I was definitely impressed. It was very spacious and clean. There was a gentleman in front of me that appeared to be a regular (the baristas greeted him by name). In both interactions, I observed the women smiling and laughing. They did the same when interacting with me. Now for the coffee. I normally order my coffee the same way every time. This time I forgot to ask for cream. I was pleasantly surprised when the barista walked over and asked me if I wanted some. She mentioned that she forgot to ask as well. Glad we were on the same page. She topped me off and I was on my way. The drive-thru didn't stay crowded long, because they had cleared it out before I could even order. I would definitely go back to this location. It was much cleaner and calmer than the Huntley location near me. A job well done to the ladies that were on duty this morning. read more

i ordered a strawberry refresher with no berries... then i got a refresher with berries i politely asked for a drink with out any berries. Worker was extremely rude! The lines are so long. If u go inside u are last to be taken care of. Drive thru takes priority and mobile orders take priority over u I waited 30 min and then asked for my money back. Nearest free standing Starbucks to my house that just opened up next to Meijer. We tried this place with the family by going through the drive thru. Order taking went smoothly. I had trouble pulling up my birthday reward on my iPhone app. Even though I had my ID, the employees said they could do nothing and looked at me like I was trying to scam them. As someone who worked in restaurants and customer service roles throughout high school and college, is very poor customer service. I go thru the drive thru and order my drink and show the holiday cup I got last week that gives you 50cents off any beverage after 2pm. The lady completely confused tells me to hold on then comes back takes the cup from me empties my drink into the holiday cup and then tells me from now on tell them when ordering I have that cup and the doesn't give me the damn 50cents off. After I was done ordering She didn't tell me to pull up too the window. So I patiently waited and still no response. Had to pull up on my own. At the window I made sure I had my one berry and TWO strawberry drinks. She only got one of each down.... when they were done making them there was strawberry's in them. I told her no strawberry's and she Sighed very excessively telling me to wait one minute. I just want to say the service that I received at this store while I was on vacation was AMAZING! My Pumpkin Spice Latte was PHENOMENAL, and Phil provided some of the best service of any Starbucks location that I have been to. This Starbucks is frustrating. Not only are the people in the drive through not very friendly, it seems that whenever I stop and get a drink, it is made incorrectly. If you order a drink exactly the way it is in the menu with out accommodations, it may be right, but don't count on a warm, bubbly worker like you'll get at the Starbucks down the street. The window lady for the drive through was the rudest human being I have ever dealt with. First shes rudely saying is that all louder and louder between items on the order. Then at the window she gives me the wrong drink then doesnt press the process button so my card wont go through because it doesnt say swipe yet, she begins going off on me saying its because my card isn't in the reader which duh it wont take it yet I tried. Manager was rude. I ordered a venti iced dopio espresso with almond milk. I would expect it to be filled to the top since the other Starbucks location I go to does that.
