Hey Sugar... Oh that…read moredon't sound right coming from me. Anyhow, I recently needed a place to hangout as I had my car in the shop. I love local coffee joints so stroll by, took a look and gave it a go. Nice, little, quaint shop. Only a few seating spots, but that was fine with me since I got a spot. Of course yelp told me what to do. - Iced Shakerrado + mint - Good. Love me some mint in my coffee. - Chocolate Crossiant - I should be watching carbs, but I just had to... this was yum. Totally worth it.. mentally and emotionally. Physically I don't know. I am pretty sure I'll be coming here in the future since well, I still need regular oil changes and such... But until next time. Stay cute. Stay alive.

I've been here a few times to study. The atmosphere is great - upbeat but quiet. The service and…read morethe coffee are both great. I've had a Mayan Mocha (photo below), Cherry Cheesecake (Drink) and a regular drip coffee. All 3 were great - although the Cherry Cheesecake drink is a bit small for the price. Haven't tried the food yet, but the options sounds delish!

Mid-morning the space was very busy and we had a hard time finding a table, but eventually did. I had the Honey Cinnamon Latte, it was smooth and the cinnamon was not overpowering. It was very flavorful. My co-worker had Mexican Matcha, and enjoyed it. The had a few bakery items, each were so intriguing, but we settled for the pomegranate honey cake. It was very moist and infused with a variety of spices, complimented by pomegranate. If I was in the area again, I definitely would be back to try some of their other items.

I walked into the bank to do my work stuff and I was greeted with a flyer to try this business and I looked and it was the products I take every day anyway! I was so excited as I was just transferred to the store that I work at so I have not had a chance to look for a local nutrition shop but yeah like I said if found me and I couldn't be more happy! I love the atmosphere of this place. It's very clean and well maintained. They even have exercise and Zumba classes! Then there's the workers omg they all have positive vibes and are just so welcoming and sweet! I've been to quite a few Herbalife nutrition shops across couple states and this one is definitely in my top 3. They have a large supply of products on display and that menu looks naughty but indeed very healthy as the best products are used but there's parfaits, desert tacos, crepes (I tried on my first visit and they were scrumptious!), and waffles. Stop by and give them a try, you won't leave tired or disappointed that's for sure

Found this ice cream place in Elgin. It may look kind of haphazard but it has some good products…read more Stop N Dip is kind of set up weird. Has quite a few things to choose from. There's some quite unusual flavors so you can come back a few times. Coming here the first time it was kind of confusing. It's located on one side of the entrance. There's a bit of a passage to get through. Has mostly gelatos. There's also a few sorbets at times. It's about $5 a scoop, but there's much more than just bowls and cones. They make milkshakes and even have hot and iced coffee including Turkish. Crepes are one of the main items. These are filled with chocolate, Nutella, or basically whatever. Also they have dip sticks, which is fruit on skewers dipped in chocolate. They also make lava cake and other big items. Got a lot of sweet stuff to both drink and eat. It's located on Douglas close to Highland. There's a lot of more unusual flavors, along with more common ones, so it has a pretty big variety.

Unfortunately, my last few visits to the Elgin Country Donuts have been pretty disappointing,…read moreespecially compared with the consistently great experiences I've had at their Crystal Lake location. Freshness has been the biggest issue. On my most recent visit, my beloved apple fritter was so stale it was virtually inedible, and it's not the first time the donuts here have tasted like they'd been sitting around far too long. Fresh donuts should be the bare minimum at a donut shop. Service has been equally ho-hum; slow, indifferent, and not particularly welcoming. The atmosphere follows suit, with messy tables, sticky floors, and a dining area that has felt neglected on multiple visits. It's just not an inviting place to sit down with a coffee and donut. What makes it frustrating is knowing how good Country Donuts can be. The Crystal Lake location consistently delivers fresh donuts, good coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Elgin lately has felt like the polar opposite. I'd love to see this location turn things around, but after several disappointing visits, I can't chalk it up to an off day anymore.
