Before I worked for Starbucks I worked a couple blocks away from this store at Chick-fil-a. I've always been a Starbucks fiend so I loved being able to pop by and get coffee on my way. It was directly on my route to work. I loved this store. Everyone was always friendly and welcoming and genuinely wanted to talk to me. When I applied to this store I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if I was here for a drink. I mentioned I was there for an interview and almost all the baristas there that day lit up and introduced themselves. Our store has been through a lot recently. With the struggle with corporate and the pride flag, unionizing, new store management, store reconstruction. We all have bad days. That comes with being human. None of us are perfect. But the majority of the time especially recently with all this going on my fellow partners do their best to keep quality service and keep our store a second place. We love our regulars and we love meeting new people!! A friendly reminder your food service workers are not robots. We will have bad days just like you. We may be short with you and feel insanely bad about it the rest of the week. You never know what someone is going through! I can say for certainty that me and my fellow partners will do our best to insure satisfaction and make sure your experience with us is pleasant! We might mess up and get snippy but remember we're human too. Think of the golden rule "treat others the way you want to be treated". One of the best Starbucks I've been to in town. Seriously, the baristas at this location are very sweet and kind, all while being on top of their jobs. The location itself is a pick-up/drive thru only Starbucks, but they have outdoor seating, and it is a quick and easy location to get to (in the early mornings at least). But some of the nicest baristas in town work here, and they're doing a great job! I've recently discovered that this is the closest and quickest drive-through Starbucks near me. While I've been here a few times over the years for random coffee pitstops, I've visited two days in a row this week. Both experiences were easy breezy. The workers here are always friendly, they move rather quickly, and per usual with Starbucks, you always get what you expect. Depending on when you come the traffic can get a little backed up, but that's only happened to me once or twice. There isn't another coffee shop around here so it's a great location for this. This is a very cozy, intimate, and petite Starbucks. OK, it's small. Verrrrry small. This is not a Starbucks where you can relax, spread out, and write your screenplay. There is a tiny counter where maybe one or two people can sit (and I have seen people making use of this tiny area). It tends to feel a bit warm inside, though, probably because of the small space and the large number of baristas working diligently to make your mochas and macchiatos. The staff here are great, though. If you're a regular they will quickly get to know you and have your order ready and waiting (if you do the mobile order which, by the way, is a very convenient option). The drive-thru is a mess in the morning, though. Cars often back up into the street sometimes blocking the entrance. It can also be tricky to turn left into the location if you're heading west on Fifth Avenue. Given their small size they sometimes run out of things more quickly than other locations and sometimes don't stock certain things at all (like the lunch bowl). They have been consistently done a very good job at order accuracy, though, with only one or two occasional errors. read more

I would call this Starbucks a "Starbucks Express" - it's the smallest Starbucks I've ever seen! The only seating available inside is a few bar stools at a bench facing outside toward 5th Avenue, but there are also a couple tables on a small patio outside the front door. There are a few parking spots available and they have a drive thru, although the parking lot is usually pretty full between parked cars and people waiting in the drive thru line (especially in the mornings). To avoid any frustration, I strongly recommend walking here if you live close enough! The employees here have always been very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I have been here a number of times, and we've always gotten the correct order whether we order in-person or through the mobile app. read more

This is a very small Starbucks and is somewhat awkward to get in and out of especially during busy morning hours. There is really no interior seating to speak of save maybe two seats at a counter right at the entrance. Plan to just grab and go. The drive through seems to be consistently busy and often inconsiderate patrons line up in the drive thru blocking entry and access to the parking lot for others (even when there are parking spaces available - seriously? Just park and walk inside!). The staff are generally very friendly and quick to remember regulars. I would say the order is correct about 90% of the time; there have been a few times I grabbed it and left before tasting it only to find it was not correct. Then there was one time they gave me someone else's sandwich. Most of the time, though, it's accurate and good. Overall a somewhat inconvenient Starbucks with friendly staff that's not designed for you to relax and linger but just to grab that necessary caffeine and head out. read more

I like to think of this Starbucks as a neighborhood caffeine express. This Starbucks is a square shaped building where hardworking baristas work their butts of to create espresso drinks for Grandview. I like to come here when I am on the go. I walk in, order my favorite drink and walk back to my apartment. They also have a drive-thru for those who prefer to drive. This may not be a study spot. However, it's nice to know that good coffee is close by. Did I mention that the baristas at this Starbucks are killer? First off I'll point out that this location may appear to be but it is not drive through only. The space is pretty cramped but you can easily go inside if you don't feel like waiting in the line in your car. The staff here is really awesome, at times I will pop in two times a day just for a quick break to get my usual small coffee. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to pick up or sit down when I came to this Starbucks. I just knew that I wanted to try this whole Pumpkin Spice thing everyone raves about. But I drink soy, not dairy, and I drink tea, not coffee. Complicated order. After possibly overthinking it on my way over, I decided to park for that reason and also because the weather was nice and so was the patio. It's a good thing I did, since it's easier to ask for an incorrect order to be fixed if you don't have to drive all the way back for it. Granted, I was ordering something not on the standard menu. And the measure of an establishment is not so much whether or not they make mistakes but how they handle it when they do. Starbucks consistently handles it fine. (In this case, it was the chai part that was wrong -- they gave me coffee.) There is a short window counter's worth of indoor seating, but you're pretty much arm's length from the register. It's "grab a coffee and read the paper for a few minutes" indoor seating. It's not "hunker down with a laptop for a few hours" indoor seating. If you want that, there are far more comfortable places in the area to go to, with or without the Seattle mermaid emblem. The patio is nice indeed, though it's not the most scenic corner in Columbus. The odd thing about the patio is that there was no trash can. Maybe it's that it's October and warm days aren't supposed to happen; maybe they have a trash can out during the warmer months. But there wasn't one the day I was there.Seems a strange oversight to me. There isn't a lot of parking. Only four or five spots, including the handicapped one. So unless you have a complicated order like mine or unless you worry about maybe returning a wrong order, you're probably best off using the drive-through. read more

Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru line this morning. I ordered 2 large cold brew coffees. When I finally got up to the window I was handed two smalls. The girl took my card and I asked if they were larges. She handed my card back to me and stared at me. As I drove away (to work by Easton), I realized $6 was probably too much for 2 smalls. I called back and the only options I was offered were to drive all the way back to Grandview or to be even later for work and go to a Starbucks at Easton. I was also told they couldn't refund my purchase, even though I overpaid. It's been a long day, but I'll be calling their corporate tomorrow. This became my Starbucks after I made the move to Grandview. Yes it is tiny. Yes, if you go during peak hours, you will wait in a line. But this is how it is at any coffee place in the morning. I personally like this stop. The staff are very friendly and efficient and they now know my boss and I by name. Days when I have the large truck I drive for work, I've been easily able to park it in the lot and go into the walk up area. It's in a nice area and easy to get in an out of. I can turn down the road and be on 315 in no time. Plus during holidays, one of the baristas likes to make snowmen and Easter bunnies out of cup lids, cute and a nice little touch. I do also enjoy the Stauf's and Luck Bros of the world. But if it's early and my coffee tumbler forgot to magically clean itself while I slept, I'll run through here to get my fix. read more

I have visited this Starbucks many times. It is typically my go to on weekdays in the late afternoon/early evening time as it is rarely ever busy. They also seem to be quite efficient, no matter whether I am ordering on line or in the drive-through. I have never ordered in-person inside. This store is one of the smaller concepts, designed primarily for drive through traffic. There are only a couple of seats inside and it's very tight. Anyway, as I said the service is usually pretty good. I am finally reviewing because of the exemplary service I received this morning. visited this Saturday morning around 10 AM and I was quite pleased with the female barista in the drive-through window. Should have looked at Yelp first - smallest Starbucks interior I've seen. 3 stools on which to sit, and a display took up some space, so basically room for 1 person. Definitely a drive thru focused location. They had tables outside but no umbrellas. Sat at a table outside on the front patio until I got tired of the exhaust fumes. Usually they're great with orders ahead that you make on the Starbucks app by having it ready when they say it's ready but I arrived even 5 min after it was "ready" on the app and had to wait another 10 minutes for my order because they just printed out my order when I arrived...making me late to work. Every time I come to this location they are out of the majority of food options. They are a very small location so it honestly might make more sense for them to just offer a more limited menu rather than advertising certain options (I usually go through the drive-thru) and then not be able to deliver. Our friends live really close to this Starbucks so we figured we'd walk over and grab a quick coffee. We decided to take our two small chihuahuas with us who are well mannered, don't bark at everyone, and are really small 10lbs and 6lbs. We walked in and I was holding them in my arms. We were gonna order quickly and head out ASAP but the rude lady working the cash register told us we should stand outside with the dogs. They don't have any signs saying no dogs and it's not like we in there for hours or anything. So a few things, a. their customer service is rude, b. they do not like pets, and c. the people working and also the customers were quite snooty and stuck up acting.
