After spending all day in nearby Alstede farm, this nearby Starbucks was a much needed refreshment to get some decent cool AC air, proper restroom and properly priced drinks. This is a big store with lots of nice sitting area, multiple all gender bathrooms and drive thru. They have all the popular drinks and bakery items in the menu. I ordered the chocolate chip Frappuccino that was perfectly made. Huge chucks of chocolate chips and delightful whip cream with syrup on top. This is one of the nicest Starbucks I've been to. First off, this place is huge! There's plenty of seating, including comfortable chairs in the front and long tables in the back. Early on a Saturday morning, we were the only ones there and the baristas were very friendly. My chai tea latte and my wife's matcha tea were excellent! read more

Visited this starbucks on 9/17. To say I am disappointed is an understatement!! First of all, I felt rushed ordering through the drive thru, second of all, I asked for light ice (got so much ice). Next, the employee passed over my drink without the lid on, causing it to spill ALL OVER my car interior and my shirt! it was due to a ill-fitting lid! Finally, this picture was taken immediately after receiving the matcha and all matcha goers know this was a BAD matcha! I know everyone has bad days but the way that this was handled was unprofessional, as we were the only customers. Not friendly. If you order inside they give preference to the drive up customers. They don't even make a simple black coffee without you waiting in line to have it made. Your food will come out before the drink and by the time your drink arrives your food is cold. read more

The location of this Starbucks is in a strip mall on the North Bound side of Route 206. The location is great but parking can be tough due to the large amount of traffic in the mall. I have held off doing my review for this particular Starbucks because the service and quality is inconsistent. For the most part all of the employees are happy to greet you and they are helpful. The quality of the coffee is hit or miss. On several occasions, I ordered a latte and they have come out different each time. On one occasion, there was no bubbly froth on top of my latte. It appeared as the milk was just poured in there. There is usually a wait at the register and a wait to get your coffee. I am not a huge fan of the sugary items they sell, but I did order a cookie once and it was great. I will go back and I will update my review based on the service and quality I receive. There is no outdoor seating here, but there is plenty of indoor seating. read more

Worst starbucks in the world. I've been to a starbucks in several countries, probably over 100 total, over the course of ten years. This is by far the worst. Lazy, slow, rude employees. They take minimum ten minutes in a good day. They don't call out names. They get orders wrong. They turn off their mobile ordering whenever they feel like it. Imm here at 2:20 on a sunny Sunday and the mobile ordering is off. This happens constantly. They close early ALL the time. Starbucks corporate should look into this place. read more

The service at this Starbucks is horrible. I was baffled. We waited for our drinks for over fifteen minutes alongside 14 other people. There where plenty of workers, that wasn't the problem. The problem is that they placed mobile orders as priority over in store customers. I understand there are mobile orders, but you shouldn't just be fulfilling the mobile orders and not making drinks for anyone in the store. To add onto that, the lady who took our order didn't know what she was doing at all and had to cancel and redo the order three times. Then, when they finally got around to making our drinks, I saw her behind the counter, making a drink with a cake pop in her hand, the whole entire time, instead of putting it in a bag. That means the cake pop could've touched a lot of things, and it also slowed her down because she was only working with one hand. Bonus points for NO toilet paper in the bathroom and no strawberries in the strawberry açaí drink. I will not be returning to the Starbucks and I think that the workers are lazy and full of much unneeded attitude. It seems they care more about their invisible customers then the in store customers. Asked for a refund and after receiving attitude from multiple staff members received my refund. Meanwhile, other staff members were talking poorly about customers loud enough for everyone to hear. I FRIKEN LOVE THIS PLACE. yes, the drive-thru takes some time, but it.is.so.worth.it. the snack boxes are the best thing you'll ever have. when i eat inside, i always bring work with me to do, and i always zoooom through it. it is so easy (and honestly fun) to work there. i love sipping on my drink and chowing down on my apple slices. the workers are always super friendly and (contrary to what others say) my orders are always right. Oh. My. God. This place is so slow. They have drive thru, mobile orders and walk in. I understand that is a lot but they always seem to have adequate staff (8pl sometimes). I feel that the people that actually take the time to park and walk in should be treated faster than the mobile and drive thru orders. On top of that, it is so loud in there that I feel bad for the employees. I had to repeat myself several times and I still got the wrong thing. read more

The NOISE level in this Starbucks is actually uncomfortable! Between the AC, the music and the fan blowing on the slippery tile floor, you just can't enjoy a relaxing coffee inside. Too many hard surfaces and nothing to absorb sound. The staff and the coffee are great but it isn't enough to make you want to stay. read more

The problem with this location...they just don't seem to care. It's not all of the employees because there is definitely one stand out that's been working there for many years. Yes, he knows your name, often knows what you drink, but the problem begins when you walk in the door. This is not the tidiest, cleanest Starbucks that I frequent. It's also definitely the slowest. It seems obvious that they understand the citizens in this area don't have a highway that close by so they have limited options. If this Starbucks was located in a busier area it would never sustain its customer base. Again, a couple of friendly faces helps, but at $5-$6 a cup, I want more than that. The staff has no ability to stay consistent, that topped with the extremely slow lines and overall unkempt appearance leads me to believe that management is the problem. I've frequented this location for many years and it was clear when the decline began. If I had a better option to get my latte with coconut milk instead of soy or almond, I'd be buying my coffee there instead of here. I always hope that my next experience will leave me happier, but I almost always leave frustrated and wishing it were better. read more

This is hands down my favorite Starbucks. The staff here go above and beyond to make every customer feel special and have a fantastic experience. This location also offers spacious, well laid out sitting area to enjoy your beverage or get some work done. The staff often create fun ways for customer engagement such as polls (i.e. what is your most expensive recent purchase) and thank you notes to staff that are displayed for other customers to read. I love seeing what others reply to these inquiries and adding some myself. I could not praise the people at this location more for their excellent service! read more

When this Starbucks open in like 2008 it was hands down the best Starbucks in the area. The crew here was helpful and made your drink exactly how you wanted it. I never had a bad experience. However over the past year or so they have had a lot of personnel changes and none have been great. When you walk in there are a lot of people "working" but honestly they all look they are looking busy in an effort not to be helpful. Then when you order no matter what you say, foam or no foam but then when you get your drink after waiting for 10 minutes (when there isn't really a line) you get foam in your drink and by that time you don't have time to complain and wait another 10 minutes for a drink. For such a popular location you would think they would have more people making drinks and making them right. read more

I'm typically here when visiting my hometown and it's one of my favorite Starbucks around. Clean and huge, with tons of seating and a spacious, desirable lay out. You can come here to work or catch up with friends, no matter what you're doing here, you never feel out of place. It's located in a strip mall, so it can be easy to miss. They make a great vanilla chai tea and the service is pretty quick compared to other Starbucks. read more

Prefer this location over the closer one to me in Hackettstown because it's one of the largest S'bux in the area with lots of (cushioned) seating. Very slow to fill orders. They do not have any sense of urgency to get the orders filled quickly, and no system in place. I order an iced, venti, non-fat latte with an extra shot every morning. It costs $5.31. They consistanly get it wrong (wrong milk, or wrong amount of shots, not enough ice, etc). For the amount of money we pay, they should work quickly, and should get such a simple drink right EVERY time. There was only 1 person in front of me this morning, and it took 11 minutes to fill my order. The person in front of me only ordered a tall coffee. read more

They don't check the mobile orders frequently enough, they are less consistent with regard to quality/taste of coffee drinks and the wait time here is longer when compared to other stores. It's a great location with a good amount of space in a busy shopping center. They need better management practices and dedicated service oriented staff. I go to this Starbucks a lot since I work in the area. I really wish it was as good as other Starbucks that I tend to visit (Bernardsville, Bridgewater Commons). But this location seems to have a good amount of clueless baristas. There are several blonde women who work there that seem to be totally oblivious to the fact that there is a huge line at the front of the store. Meanwhile they are in the back chatting away paying no attention to what is going on around them. And when they are on the register, they are either very slow, or get sidetracked and can't stay focused dn the order. It's a shame, because most other Starbucks are very efficient. read more
