Excellent service and the coffee speaks to quality and verve. An iced coffee? It charms. I prefer mine as a mocha and they do it right.

Simple Coffee is my local shop and a step (or 3) above Starbucks. I like their coffee and Tommy and the girls always deliver friendly and quick service. It's a welcoming setting with a few small tables inside and outside if you're meeting any friends. There is street parking as well as a small lot adjacent to the building. The owner also hosts an annual car show which is popular. Great option if you're in the area. read more

Simple Coffee - Iced Latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mendham, New Jersey

I stopped by simple coffee this afternoon for a pick me up! I always pass simple coffee and today was the day I got to try it. I was greeted by a nice young man when I walked in and he helped me pick out my order and I also added a chocolate chip cookie. The latte was delicious as well as the cookie. I sat outside the café and got my vitamin D in for the day. I'll be back. :) read more

Simple Coffee - Caramel latte with vanilla cold foam. And a chocolate chip cookie. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mendham, New Jersey

Recently ate there around lunch. The coffee drinks are excellent but the rest of the food is average. The server was very uninterested in being cheerful even with the owner seated five feet away. read more

Cute place, friendly staff, didn't spin the screen for a tip. Unfortunately for almost $6, the Nitro cold brew they advertise was totally flat, and tasted like yesterday's burnt hot coffee, but cold. The barista said that is how its supposed to be. I always search out local coffee spots, but they don't seem to realize a DD is a block away and has better coffee than them! read more

This little place is all right. If Yelp allowed us to leave half stars, I would give would give them a 3 1/2. I always round up so they get a 4. It is clean and the decor is cute. There's a free private parking lot and the place is located conveniently on the main street in Mendham. The coffee is OK. If I am in the area, I plan on stopping by again but I would not go out of my way to come here. The poundcake is very good, fresh and moist. The chocolate chips in it have a good flavor. The space is super small and with just six customers and two people working, I was feeling closed in and claustrophobic. There is no music playing and no one was talking, so the vibe felt off to me. It was kind of eerie. Also, the two young ladies working there were aloof and never smiled or said anything beyond what was necessary. They did not greet any customers or respond to my " thanks have a great day!" as I left. read more

Super cute spot for coffee. Very friendly staff. The cafe is clean and has a few tables inside with some outside. They have some very unique coffee drinks and smoothies. A latte and croissant was around $7 which I think is reasonable. Plenty of parking! Definitely recommend if coming through Mendham. read more

Tried Simple Coffee last year and enjoyed the coffee, but the seating was limited. They have since renovated and added a nice, comfortable seating area. I really appreciated the newer parking lot on the side of the building. The coffee here is very good and the employees are very friendly. What a nice alternative to chain coffee shops! read more

It's a hard time for local business right now, so I really don't wanna give local business bad review, but the latte I ordered taste just like water with coffee milk flavor. To be honest, I haven't tried coffee like this ..... really disappointed, very shocked. read more

Simple Coffee - foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy foamy - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mendham, New Jersey

Watch out--when we used the address listed on Yelp, it took us to a random house on the other side of the town. I tried to edit the address but we'll see if it goes through. But about the shop itself. The coffee is tasty and the staff are friendly; however, there's nowhere to sit and enjoy your coffee. I mean, yes, there is a place to sit, but it's 2 feet away from a blender and people seem to come here solely for their frozen drinks, so except if you really, really enjoy the sound of a powerful blender in your ear, there's nowhere to sit. I'd pick up coffee to go from here any time. read more

Amazing place with great coffee. Hard to ever go back to a Starbucks after coming here. Staff was extremely friendly as well. A++

They always have great drinks inspired by the season! Definitely give them a try ASAP!!!

Great cup of Java and awesome friendly staff, definitely be back.

I have been coming here for about 10 months and I am not sure why I have taken so long to check in and give simple coffee props. The place is simply fantastic. It's great quality drinks served up by the nicest people. Everyone I have encountered in the shop is wonderful and this is not just because they provide me with my oh so important coffee. I will be back again and again. read more

Just moved in next door to Simple Coffee and is that ever dangerous because it is SO good. We have already been several times! I love their iced coffee, in my opinion much much better than what you can get at Starbucks or Dunkin. Their scones are delicious too. And, the staff is so friendly. Absolutely recommend!! read more

Love this place so much! Great coffee and tons of flavors especially seasonally. The new owner has created a great atmosphere and the community and employees make it such a nice place to stop by throughout the week. Strongly recommend! read more

As someone who works in health in wellness environment I am always with my eyes open looking for risks Anyway ! The person who prepared my smoothie, unpleasantly took my request not to put OJ on my smoothie . I explained "" I can't have sugar " Instead of demonstrate any customer service approach . She poured back the OJ into the jar !!! Would you believe it? Next time you come here. You will drink your smoothie with a lot of bacteria's and a I do not whAt else you can find in this place I suggest to go somewhere else . This place is not to trust read more

Awesome spot in Mendham. The coffee is strong but not bitter and the staff is always friendly. Great cortado! Highly recommend.

Very trendy coffee shop with fun and original drink options! Keep an eye out for their drinks of the month--always delicious!

Barrista was rude and did not respond after greeting her. Ordered 2 vanilla lattes with almond milk and witnessed her pouring whole milk into the drinks. Asked her about the milk and she unapologetically fixed the order. Would've brushed it all off, but the drinks were flavorless and tasted like water-downed coffee. Poor customer service. read more

I drove past this place on the way to Chester, and told myself this looked like a place I needed to make a stop at sometime in the future. I have been looking for a small, locally owned coffee shop and this resembled the great ones located in Ithaca, NY. This has so far been the closest to my college town coffee and I am so happy to have stumbled upon it. With reasonable pricing, a welcoming atmosphere, and a clean space, it has guaranteed my business. Although it's a little bit of a drive for me, I'll most definitely be back. read more

Simple Coffee - Blueberry scone and large mocha latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mendham, New Jersey

Obsessed with the nitro cold brew, and their speciality drinks. If you're hungry, give the croissants a try. Worth the stop in!

Was in town on business a while ago, I always like to stop at local coffee shops when traveling. Stumbled upon this place on the Main Street of the town, it didn't disappoint. I defintely consider myself a coffee snob, had my first nitro cold brew here.... needless to say I came back here once more before I left town. read more

The staff is extremely rude every time I go and give this place another shot. The owner really needs to fix this so the employees don't scare away any more customers read more

Strong espresso, polite Customer Service, And Oh yeah ... Beautiful Baristas. What's not to like? Well the drip coffee actually, which I find has very little bite. Think of it as the Anti-Starbucks which over roasts their beans and is often way too acidic. The problem here there is just the opposite. The coffee has no bold notes or character to set it apart. 4 stars. read more

Best coffee around! Staff is so nice and friendly! Their muffins/treats are super yummy! Also love their new seating area!

Best coffee around, best staff around polite, pleasant, always on the ball when you have just worked a round the clock and can't figure up from down, they will tell you perfect brew to get you Through the morning, and not look at you as someone who could tip you the highest. Can't beat this great little hole in wall, this is what makes this village great!!! read more

great little coffee shop. customer service was outstanding. the place was very inviting

Ordered decaf cappuccino at end of day. It was good. Cafe was nice and bright. Associate who took my order was pleasant. Barista was quick!!

I've been a regular at Simple Coffee since 2018. Every month I noticed the quality diminishing. I ordered a blueberry scone and the girl at the counter used the same tissue to grab my pastry as the man in front of me. Sometimes when ordering my latte the milk tastes funny like it's about to expire. The bathroom is always filthy with toilet paper all over the ground and the garbage always full. The staff used to be so pleasant and now I don't even get a greeting when I walk in. I order and they just place the drink on the counter. I miss Olivia working there she always made conversation with me and made me feel welcome. I don't feel as though I'll be returning anytime soon. The drinks aren't well made and the atmosphere is disgusting. read more

I have lived in Mendham all my life and I was excited when simple coffee came to town. Unfortunately the staff is EXTREMELY rude and they are unknowledgeable about coffee. I am utterly disappointed with the way this business treats their costumers. Not to mention the drinks are so overpriced!! Save your money and time and avoid this place at all cost. read more

Simple Coffee is so good! Mendham has needed a good and cute coffee place like this one.
