We come here every time we're in Chester! This is a lovely little bakery with display cases filled to the brim with delightful biscotti. They probably have around 20-30 flavors of biscotti at any given time, and most of the flavors have a "soft" version too if you're not a fan of the typical biscotti crunch. The people running the shop will gladly let you sample various flavors (and they're generous with the sample sizes too!) On top of that, there's a samples jar near the front of the shop that has samples of a bunch of flavors all mixed into one big jar. What a cute shop in the heart of Chester. And the young lady who helped me was a delight. She explained everything and even offered samples of the hidden softer biscotti. They had a wide variety of traditional looking biscotti and other baked goods as well. I opted for the exotic flavors of matcha and of chai tea, the classic anise, and the more fun cranberry white chocolate. They were all very good and different in their own way but I'd have to say the chai tea was my favorite. It was a bit pricey in my opinion. A nice little place in Chester NJ. The inside was on the smaller side, but there was some seating. We got there around 9:00 on a Saturday morning. They were not busy. The young lady who helped us was very helpful and friendly. We bought several different flavors and haven't eaten them all yet, but our favorite so far is the white chocolate cranberry. Their coffee selection was minimal but there were several coffee shops nearby. I would recommend giving this place a try! read more

The best part of Linda's Biscotti is not the biscotti , it's Linda herself. Tough as nail Brooklyn girl puts up with no shit, but damn she is fun to talk to. Just mention the competition across the street and sparks will fly like the 4th of July! There are more flavors if biscotti here than Baskin Robbins has flavors of ice cream, and yes, they have hard and soft baked! We found this gem on Labor Day searching for a nearby bakery after lunch in Mendham. The location is great - right on Main Street in Chester. Biscotti isn't usually my favorite because it's too hard even when dipped in coffee. But Linda's Biscotti is the best biscotti I have ever had. She has both regular and soft versions. The soft is delicious and made me wonder why soft biscotti isn't a more common dessert. The regular was absolutely perfect, it wasn't at all too hard like normal biscotti can be. It was the perfect toughness. Hard enough to hold up when dipped in coffee but soft enough to be able to enjoy it on its own like a cookie. I can't say enough nice things about Linda and Linda's Biscotti. For the last two years that we've lived in Chester, the strip mall where the store in has been... well... dead. There's a pizza/bagel place there, but I'd rather eat my dog's food than eat their food again. I was so excited when I saw a sign for a new business that was going to open there! The first time I walked into the store, I was amazed at how many flavors of biscotti were on display. She has the more traditional flavors like anise, but there are so many others like funfetti and her seasonal flavor options. There's gluten-free biscotti too! The thing I love most about Linda's Biscotti is that she offers both the regular crunchy style and a soft-baked style that's a little easier to eat if you don't want to dip your cookie in coffee/milk. The store itself is open and inviting, very clean and well-lit. The case on the right side of the store has breakfast burritos and a counter with coffee and such. The case on the left side of the store has trays piled high with delicious cookies. Different tray and package options are displayed throughout the store. There's a small seating area where you can enjoy your purchases on the spot. Linda herself is sweet and friendly, clearly proud of the product she makes, and so easy to talk to.
