Then I would go to Lakeline Mall and walk around with my beverage label facing out...in order to feel superior. I just had a really bad experience here yesterday. It was my birthday and the girl at the counter refused to give me my birthday drink unless I downloaded the app, so I did but nothing showed up. ( I would've been happy to show my id). I just paid for my drink to avoid any hassle and because I didn't want to argue but it sincerely bummed me out. It sounds silly, but little things like that make your birthday feel special. When I got my order, it was wrong, so the girl making coffee offered to remake it. This location - I just can't even anymore. Their Mobile Ordering practices are HOT GARBAGE. I ordered online at 7:34am, app said it would be ready at 7:46. I was thinking, awesome, I can get this done and be back in time for work. Nope. Just nope. I didn't have coffee in hand until 7:55 and was late signing into work. After I asked what the status of my order was, they said "you are two back." Okay. I see them look at my stickies for my items - they had been up on the machine for A WHILE. They must have served 15 customers who came and grabbed their orders, along with about 10 walk ins before I ever got hands on my coffee. If I put in a mobile order, I'm expecting to pick it up on time. I don't have time to be standing around, shooting the shit with the baristas. While I'm trying to hurry to grab my drinks, she asks me "what are your plans for today" and I should have said, "Go home, write a big sticky note to myself to remind me to NEVER put in a Mobile Order at this location ever again." This Starbucks stays busy it's better to order with your mobile app. I will say this one has been able to get the orde right 100% of the time. I've never had to reorder have drink remade. The staff and management are doing really well at this location. Yes it does have the legendary leather chairs that some Starbucks seem to be losing or hiding. One day I will have one or a chair very similar to these models in my home. They have plugins and decent seating arrangements. Showing up early is the way to go. read more

I really love this Starbucks,I just moved to the area and it's right next to my house! There is no drive through but it's fine.i has enow discovered ordering through my Starbucks up and can I say it's pretty amazing! They are great at having my drink ready by the time I get there no waiting in line.I used to be a Starbucks Shift supervisor and I know the orders coming through nonstop can be stressful and sometimes we would have a line out the door.I ordered the Treinta dragon fruit refresher for the first time and it's so good! It actually has dragonfruit in it! I have even bought a couple pounds of coffee at this location.I do need to bring up that every time I bought a pound of coffee here they have never asked me if I want a small bag, Well yes because I don't want to get coffee all over my car if the bag opens.Also I did notice the cafe was dirty it needed to be sweets and the area where the straws and stir sticks are and sugar was totally dirty the trash was overflowing inside and outside.When I was a supervisor we had to set a spin timer to check bathrooms and sweep cafe and keep sugar and creamer area clean that does not seem to be a priority at this location.And I'm sure people notice.And at the hand off no baristas even talk to you and make that connection with you where have the Starbucks standards gone to? I will still be going to this location but I hope they start cleaning their cafe and pulling the trash more consistently.Take pride in their work space and for customers. read more

This very small Starbucks packs in the customers daily. I believe they do it with the consistently great customer service and friendly attitude from each of the baristas. The space is small, like I said, however you can still grab a table or a seat at the bar and linger a bit while you visit or just enjoy your cuppa. I enjoy this place very much and they regularly put a smile on my face to start my work day. read more

So here it is on my day off and I'm standing in line at Starbucks. Great, only three people in front of me. So the wait begins!! Dum-Dee-Dum-Dum! Oh, how cute. They have gifts scattered around the store. Festive decorations are up. Doo-dee-doo-da. Oh, there's the case full of pastry treats. You have got to be kidding, 3 bucks for that piece of pumpkin bread. Doh-Rah-Me-Fa-So-La- Uh, that ceiling tile needs replacing. Okay, one down and only two more people to go. Fa-La-La-La-La-ah. Crap, a homemaker with three screaming kids enters. Whoa, looks like her kid's screams have made some customers leave. They must have WiFi with all the laptop drinkers at the tables. Na-Na-Na-na. Another one down, only one more to go before me. Whoppsie, looks like screaming kids are running around the store while mom chats on her cell phone. One bumps into someone's table and shoshes his coffee. Man is not happy and giving cell phone mom the evil eye. There are three people behind the counter. One is at the register and the other two are making drinks. Why so long people, let's pick up the pace. Finally it's my turn. Grab a gift card from the display, hand it to the register lady and tell her $25.00 on this card, please. She rings it up and asks if I would like to order a coffee. I reply with my most festive Holiday smile, No, thank you, I don't drink overpriced bitter coffee. She is smiling back still responding to my smile when my words sink in. Her mouth drops open as I sign the receipt. I wish her a Happy Holiday and head toward the door. On my way out, I hear a crash. Nope, not Santa and his sled, a screaming kid has knocked a coffee mug off the display table. I guess cell phone mom is going to be paying more for her coffee than still originally planned. (Later that day, I found HEB sells Starbucks gift cards and no waiting.) read more

First off, not a big fan of the Starbuck's chain. Overpriced for what they serve. Having said that, this location is perfectly fine. Although it's high turnover, whichever barrista they have working is usually pretty cool. Their coffee, pastries and other drinks are as good as you'd expect from any other Starbucks, and just as expensive (okay I'm done, I swear). They also have a variety of mugs on sale, plus some CD's from local artists. It's not a large Starbucks, but there's enough seating inside that it hardly ever gets crowded, plus there's plenty of tables outside on the sidewalk. I used to be a barista at Starbucks and I have worked at many stores. This is by far the SLOWEST store I've ever been to. I ordered a iced chai latte, and watched every single barista doing side work instead of making my drink. One was scraping the oven, another stocking something, and the other one just standing twiddling his thumbs. There is absolutely no reason I should have to wait 10 minutes for an iced drink that only requires milk being poured and pumping syrup into a cup. I love the people that work at this Starbucks. I stop in at least twice a week and they always know what I want before I even get up to pay. I am always amazed at how fast the line moves and never have to wait more than 1 or 2 minutes. I don't claim to know much about coffee but the coffee here is very consistent and they always have plenty of cream and sugar. For someone who doesn't have time to waste in the morning, this is the place for me. Also, I have the starbucks app on my phone which makes the transaction that much faster. read more

I go here all the time out of convince but 9/10 times they get my drinks wrong. I always order the same coffee and ask for cinnamon on top but I never get the cinnamon literally never it's small but still. There was another time where ordered a passion tango tea for my friend which is supposed to be darker pink and I got it yellow??? I have also order the new refresher the guava passionfruit one and they didn't add the coconut milk even though it's literally part of the recipe not an add on. The drinks always turn out good regardless but it's frustrating to pay for something and not get what you asked for. This Starbucks is exactly like every other Starbucks, so you know what you are getting. The staff is pretty friendly and fast, but not otherworldly. It's very corporate, as you probably know, with mountains of knicknacks for you to buy. Laptop users hog most of the tables. I like that it has no drive through, as that means people have to actually park (or ride a bike!) and go in, and talk to each other (or at least see other human beings) which is kind of nice. It also keeps pollution and the price of gas down (all that idling helps no one). Anyway, a good Starbucks. I prefer local joints, but haven't found a good one yet near here. read more

This location is ideal to study at, it's usually quiet even if there are lots of folks. There isn't a great amount of seating indoors, so it's a good idea to grab a chair outside to study in complete peace. Baristas are always friendly. Seems like the owner hires really good people, because a long while back there was a guy named Kyle that was so nice...he'd recommend a special way to make drinks and always remind u that he'd remake it if u didn't like it. He's gone now, tho. Currently there's a nice lady named Angela that is ALWAYS amazing. Just kind and wonderful always. She remembers my orders (I'm a regular )...I don't know how, but she does.
