Stopped here this morning for a quick breakfast, was a little sad that they were out of my favorite breakfast - Tomato Mozzarella Panini. That is not the reason for the low rating, but I was pretty sad about that. This was the first Starbucks location (and I've been to A LOT of them) that made a bigger deal about me adding a ristretto shot & frankly made me feel a little stupid about it. When I'm in need of caffeine I order a Caramel Frappuccino with Soy milk (regular milk and I don't mix well) and I get a shot of Ristretto. I have a friend of mine who worked for Starbucks and she told me about Ristretto. Its purpose is like Espresso, coffee but just sweeter for us that prefer a sweeter drink. Point is, this was the first Starbucks that after telling them I wanted Ristretto in my drink the person over the intercom asked: Do you want it on top... or do you want it on the bottom.. or how do you want it? Like do you want it Afogato or what? I was confused, and I didn't really know what Afogato meant. I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur. I just wanted blended into my coffee.... like every Starbucks I've been to before has done for me. I responded, I'm not sure what Afogato means... I just wanted mixed in with my coffee. Oh, okay we can blend it with your coffee. It was a bit... condescending to say the least. I ended up ordering two different breakfast sandwiches, Gouda and Bacon, & my coffee. My friend also ordered her own order separately from mine, a Sausage and Cheese sandwich without the sausage. When we went up to the window, the lady told me my total and took my card. Then she asked for the separate order for the Sausage and Cheese sandwich without the sausage. My friend paid and then we waited for our order. She handed me two sandwiches and my coffee. I looked at the sticker to see that they were both the Gouda sandwiches and she then proceeded to say - They are labeled so you know what they are. I'm not sure if she thought I was confused about why they were labeled or what, but thanks. I know how to read... After she gave me my coffee and only the 2 sandwiches, we waited for the third. She asked us, did y'all need something else? Yes... the other sandwich. I already gave you two. Well we ordered three, we're still missing the sausage and cheese without the sausage sandwich. (the one you specifically asked if we ordered when we first pulled up to the window...) She said Oh okay and went and grabbed the sandwich and brought it out to us. Not really apologetic or tried to fix her rude mistake. I LOVE Starbucks, but I won't be coming back to this one. read more

I love how conveniently close this location is to me, but other than that it's just a subpar starbucks. Their baristas aren't very consistent with the taste of the drinks, and tend to over-blend the Frappacinos. The drive thru is also extremely slow, but I like the outdoor seating for when it's a nice day outside. Of course I'll keep going to this location because it's on my way to most places I go, but I usually try to go to a different location if I have the time. read more

Great location!! The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel special - especially the morning staff! Best service (in my experience) is in the weekday mornings. The drive-thru in the morning is often VERY busy and you could be in line for quite awhile. The time from ordering till pickup is quick and accurate. My order is NOT normal, but they deliver it with joy and with accuracy. Treat them well and they will strive to treat you better. read more

Went to the drive thru around 2:30pm. Barista who took my order had a very positive attitude - put a smile on my face. (: I got to the drive thru window, and it turns out, the manager was the one who had taken my order. From what I could see, she was the one who made my drink as well. The BEST peppermint mocha latte I've had in a while, with just the right amount of peppermint. I wish I'd gotten her name. Excellent customer service, speedy preparation, great execution... she deserves a raise! read more

This location used to be really great but ever since this new crew of baristas took over its really gone downhill. There is never any consistency on drinks and it seems like they're more focused on getting the orders out than actually getting the drinks to be right/good. Look to the Starbucks off Old Denton or off Midway & Park where they been getting it right for years. read more

I've had issues in the past with this location. Today was just the nail in the coffin for me. I ordered a venti matcha green tea and egg bites. Tried to give me a tall and send me on my way. When I reminded them I ordered a venti, they literally poured the tall into a venti cup and water it down. I can hardly taste the matcha as it's sooo watered down. The color doesn't even look right. Then on top of that, they forgot my eggbites. I had to wait even longer for that! No one else was in the drive thru... I couldn't tell if it was busy inside. So I will try to give them that. I'm very disappointed. There are plenty of other Starbucks around, so I will avoid this one. read more

I am absolutely shocked by how rude a barista at Starbucks can be.... And I am someone that gets a coffee (sometimes two) from Starbucks on a daily basis. I like my coffee more on the milky side, so one time a barista recommended I order a tall in a venti cup so there would be room for the extra almond milk and sweet cream cold foam that I PAY FOR. When I went into this starbucks (I only came here bc my usual one was out of almond milk and this was on my way to work), I noticed both my coffees (yes, 2 today) were only filled half way. I asked the barista if she could fill it up to the top and she proceeded to say no. I tried to explain that I paid extra for that, and this is my usual coffee order that ive gotten at multiple starbucks locations. Two more extremely rude baristas began telling me they can't do that, and one was about to and then she says "actually no, im not going to do that, next time order a venti". I told her thats what I used to do, but everytime there would be wayy much coffee and not enough milk. Instead of asking for it to be remade each time, one barista said that was my best option to order it to my liking. Each one of my coffee's cost me approximately 7$, adding a little more almond milk to someone that already spends hundreds of dollars a month on coffee seems unheard of. I will never be going to this starbucks again. read more

All right... well, time to update this review after various mornings of crappy service. First, the employees have always been super friendly and nice despite situations that were going on (spilling coffee, etc, etc.), so this review is nothing against them. It's just a general operations thing I think. It takes about 9 minutes from start to finish of the drive thru lane. But try to go in? And they usually only have one person up front. The main staff is focused on the drive thru. I understand that, because those customers are wanting fast service. But does that mean to neglect your cafe customers by just having one employee on the front register? This morning, there was a line of about 7 people in the cafe when I went inside. The lady up front was receiving NO help from ANYONE. However, the drive thru had 5 employees working it! I went out, got in my car, and went through the drive thru. Did I want to use the drive thru? No. But I felt like that's what I had to do because I stood inside for 5 minutes with no line movement. Anyway, I think this location needs new standards as far as speediness goes. Obviously it will always take some time, but there are ways to speed things up. My 2 cents? I'll still go here. It's not a bad location; just needs a little help. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks every day for a month now, and I just want to say, that while this is not that different than any other Starbucks you would go to, they do have some of the friendliest and most cheerful barista's early in the morning! It's Starbucks, and I'm sure you don't really want to read another Starbucks review. Le sigh. They have coffee, tea, and pastry's. This location offers a screen at its drive thru where you can see the barista taking your order. Kids and some adults get a kick out of that kinda thing. I go here for my morning coffee, I work at the hospital right next to it, but this Starbucks is one of the slowest I've been to. I have to plan to leave my house early if I want coffee from here. Also, if you go inside around 7am, the older blonde woman is the one running the front register during the week and she's kind of short with customers and rude. Nice store and the staff is pretty helpful. Gift cards seemed to throw this one guy in to a tail spin, but a manager stepped in and rectified the situation. Consistently good coffee and on my last trip here, I forgot they raised the rate from $2.44 to $2.55 for a venti....so my change back was weird until I realized the price increase. I use to adore this location but not it has come to nothing but caring for the drive thru customers.Forget the fellow cage customers that come in for an actual cafe experience. You will be lucky to get service after five minutes of waiting and it will be nothing but baristas looking at you and walking last you.No one is friendly and all you see is their focus on drive through customers. All the old bariatas have moved on and the crew now is unfriendly. If you want a better experience go to another location, you won't get it here. read more

I would like to say that people go to coffee shops to get things done, and sometimes people need to get things done into the late-night hours. I would like to see this place open until at least 11. So that is why I am rating this only one star. The layout is pretty poor also and there's limited seating also not too many chargers inside so that's also why I am writing it just one star. This is one of the best Starbucks locations I have been to in DFW. They are pretty busy being off of Hebron, but their service is impeccable. There is one particular barista that is very friendly and is always accommodating. I recently went there to purchase the last of the "Christmas Blend" they had. I actually went through the drive through as I was also picking up some drip coffee to go. At first they had told me they were out but then she came on the menu screen and told me that they have some in stock but it was in the very large bags the stores get. She asked me how much I want and I told her three pounds. She said no problem she would open their store bags and measure out three pounds! She even asked me if I needed it ground or not. She was so sweet and had it perfectly labeled and packed up for! If you are in need of a caffeine fix and you are in the neighborhood I recommend stopped by this Starbucks. read more

This place has been out of bagels for over a week. And they didn't run out.... they just have none! Why! Get it together!

Arrived this morning a few mins before 5 am and waited in parking lot for them to open. I saw the staff arrived at 4:58am and unlock the door. Waited until 5:02am and proceeded to the drive thru. Waited until 5:12am no response so drove up to window and no one was visible so I left. If your stated open time is 5:00am then you should be open and ready to serve at that time. Perhaps you get your staff there at 4:30 so they are ready. A real shame to the Starbucks name! read more

I avoid this Starbucks at all cost. It's like the McDonald's of Starbucks. I don't know why it's so different from the others I go to (and love!), but it's awful. This is the best little secret. This place is kinda hidden so it's never crowded. Every time we go we get the best service. It has places not only on the inside but on the outside to sit and read or do computer work. I hate to let everyone know where it is but it's such a great location. Been here about 100 times. Staff is always friendly, even when they are slammed. I've only ever seen them 'miss' an order once (and it wasn't mine) and were fair - worked with the person to get it right. Only been to the drive through 3 or 4 times, but it was pretty quick both times. Worked on my PhD and papers for 2 years at this place - just great. My only complaint is that seating can be limited at peak hours. read more
