Good location at a corner of two major streets and still can get in to use the drive-thru or park. Service in the store was friendly. They are busy with chores and the drive-thru and Mobile picks ups but still chat and not stressed. There are just three people but that seems about right as all are busy and attentive. Things are getting done. Parking is very limited, but sufficient as most people make use the drive-thru. There is not outdoor seating. Indoor seating is roomier than I expected for such a small parking lot. Love that there is plenty of window space to sit near. read more

Absolutely unacceptable experience at this Starbucks. A barista named ANGEL called me a derogatory name over the headset, assuming I wouldn't hear it--I did. She then refused to give me a sandwich I already paid for and shut the window in my face. This is beyond unprofessional. I expect immediate action from management. read more

To have a place to go and spend a couple of hours working on my computer and charging my devices makes life tolerable for me since, at this time, I'm just living out of my car. I will never forget the hospitality shown to me by the employees at this Starbucks location. I have more than 500 reward points and they explained I can get accessories 20 dollars and under (on selected items)... she said to bring it to her and she'll let me know if those fall under the "selected items"." Not a fan of SBUX however when gifted cards I'll be thankful. Have to pass other locations for this one because of how terrible the other ones are. Inconsistency and trade laws are some of the reasons I won't give them my money. What I do appreciate of this location is the fact that they don't gip your drink when you order light or no ice. Today though inconsistency of a basic non altered item was disappointing. Vanilla Nitro Sweet cream tastes like a coffee with milk in. No sweetness and stale old coffee flavor. The aforementioned tattoo guy was on site today. Based in previous reviews I didn't bother and kept rolling. It was an unusually warm and toasty mid-morning, and decided to treat myself to a cold, fruity drink. I was preparing to order the dragonfruit refresher, until the Starbucks app flashed pretty pictures of the new, vibrant green, Kiwi Starfruit Refresher. Well now, order twist! I went with the Kiwi Starfruit and it was delicious. Little tart, fruity, I ordered two for hubby and I; one with lemonade one with half lemonade. If you don't like your drinks super sweet, opt for water or half lemonade. The full Kiwi Starfruit with all lemonade, was too sweet for me to enjoy. Next time I'll see if I can order half dragonfruit and half kiwi starfruit. Starbucks, please bring back the pineapple black tea. Love the new Kiwi drink but miss that pineapple. read more

We have been loyal Starbucks customers for over a decade but over the last few years they have been going down hill. Customer service is not Starbucks focus anymore. Our daily trips turned into just weekends, then to just a couple times a month. Tonight became the last time we will step foot into a Starbucks. My wife ordered a grande bold pour over and told it would take 5 mins. She finally had to go to the counter and ask. The manager told her it would be a few minutes and they started making it. 5 mins turned into 18 mins. The part that ticked us off was the cavalier attitude from the manager. NO apology, NO care that they messed up. Just having their loud personal and business conversations ignoring the customers. When the drink finally arrived NOTHING she about it was correct. This is a common problem with Starbucks today. You can not put your own sweetener or cream in your coffee anymore and their staff can not get it right. The customer in front of us had to ask about his also. He received an apology for taking so long by a female employee and he had the funniest response "Its OK, i did'nt want you guys to miss any of your talking". Do not go to this Starbucks. I've been a gold memeber since like 2015. I use to be obsessed with getting a coffee or a tea just about everyday. It didnt help when I use work next a Starbucks. This location is pretty nice. The guys and girls are friendly and happy. I came in tonight and my frap was already done waiting for pick up. But then my husband called and wanted one. Told me to surprise him. He likes a lot of caffeine and semi sweet. That's what I told the girl and she hooked it right away. She called it like a s'more drink. And he actually liked it! I did too. So thank you for the recommendation and giving me the receipt so I could order it again. The one thing that is a downfall, the location is semi small and only has like 5 parking spots. And they conned it off fro the drive thru so you pretty much have to enter on manzanita side. read more

This store is located at the corner of Madison and Manzanita. I drove through it today. It is most definitely NOT closed. But, that might explain the crappy service I received... My order is a hot Venti white mocha and I asked for them to put the whip cream on the side in a small cup so that I can put it on my coffee when I get home. If I don't do it this way, the whip cream melts and I don't get to enjoy it. I've never stopped at this store, so I explained this in detail to the barista. When I pulled up to the drive-through window, I was handed a teeny tiny see-throigh cup that was overflowing with whip cream, one that would not stand alone in my vehicle. Apparently, these are puppachino's (spelling?) and they're made for dogs. I politely asked for it to be placed in a little larger cup so I could get it home without making a mess. The young barista turned to another gal who made a face and said "well, that's just how the whip cream comes" and shrugged her off. The barista ended up giving me a small cup that held the whip cream (like ALL the other stores I visit) and seemed bothered by having to accommodate me. As conveniently located as this was to my way home today, I'll be sure to avoid stopping there in the future, even if it means crossing a busy street a couple of times! read more

It was nice how quickly the line moved this morning. However I was disappointed when I got my coffee and it was far from full. I order the same drink all the time (usually from different locations) and have never had this issue. So even though this location is closest to my home, I probably won't be going back. Sometimes when the freeway is backed up, I go the long way to work and stop at this Starbucks because they have a drive-thru! The employees who work the drive thru are some of the nicest and friendliest Starbucks employees around, I always get excellent service from them! They make my morning better and start my day off in a good mood! I have never really had an issue with parking even though there are only a few spots because most people use the drive thru. Inside is nice and like every other Starbucks I've been to, the girl at the counter is nice too and there is never any wait. My favorite drink is a Tall Iced or Hot Caramel Macchiato. Yum! read more

I am a HUGE Starbucks fan. And this place is OKAY. TERRIBLE parking and location is so awkwardly placed. And you cant parked elsewhere and walk in, which is totally understandable, but that means Starbucks should either move or create more parking for their location somehow. Or just make it a drive-thru only location because this parking lot is ridiculous. Ive witness many accidents. Also most of the staff are cool, however there has been quite a few times where my mobile order was messed up. I would order through the app, pay, and one of the options I order was either sold out or unavailable, but I was never notified and my total payment was never adjusted. And when I call about my order one of the managers is SUPER rude! Like she just hates her job. But there is a wonderful you g man there, I believe his name is Cody, who is just amazing and has great customer service skills. This Starbucks is okay, the baristas are friendly for the most part. There has been a few times that they have messed up on my order. I only went back to say that my order was not correct and they didn't take it well. I ordered salted caramel mocha which they don't have anymore. And the man questioned me like I was lying,but it tasted really bitter. But he made me another salted caramel mocha frapp in exchange for the one they messed up on. Before I left he said something like would you like to try it before you leave and that kind of made me feel uncomfortable. So far that's been the only time I wasn't pleased with the customer service there. Occasionally there is a hold up on the drive thru line. They are really busy in the early afternoon starting around 12. I would have to say the best time to come when it's not busy is 4 pm and later. If you want a good experience here, I recommend going inside to order. The service is way nicer if you go inside. The space inside of decent with few tables and 2 comfy chairs. Not good for studying with a group. Finally the parking lot is very small. It is difficult to maneuver a car especially if you don't find a parking space. read more

I hate this Starbucks. I truly do. The only good thing about it is the location. I generally order the same thing. Medium latte with blond espresso and 2 stevia. Half the time they forget the stevia, and the other half the drink is so fing HOT it takes a long time to even be able to drink it and a lot of the time it tastes scalded and burnt because it's so hot. What prompted me to write this is that I woke up with a headache today. I had a 9am meeting. I figured coffee would help. I stopped here because of convenience. I ordered. My head is throbbing. The girl was overly friendly and couldn't pickup on my quiet vibe. I did not want to talk. She forced conversation on me and I got to learn about her family as I'm sitting there feeling sick and just wanted my drink. Then I get my drink and it was so hot I could feel the heat through the heat thing they put on the cup. Then I take a small sip and then burn my poor little tastebuds. I was pissed. I couldn't drink any more before me meeting. I get out 30 minutes later and it was still too hot! Wtf?!! Why do they make their drinks so hot at this location?!!!! This Starbucks is, BY FAR, the best in the area. There are two employees specifically that make my days more enjoyable when I stop in; Jacob and Marina. Jacob is the friendliest, sweetest, kindest, most unique individual you will ever meet. Marina always has a smile on her face and recognizes me even though my visits are pretty irregular, I am by no means a regular here, though I do have my weeks. I have never had a problem with the quality of my beverage from this location, from tea, to drip coffee, to a frappuccino; all are delicious! If you are in the area stop by and see Jacob or Marina, both will add a drop of sunshine to your day! read more
