I'm sitting here with my wife working on our son's high school graduation slideshow. The trash cans were completely full - to the point of overflowing. Speaking of trash... The girls working are absolutely trashing their coworkers. It is ridiculous and embarrassing for them. They are loud enough for us to hear. They are using a ton of cursing. Unprofessional doesn't begin to describe what I am hearing. Literally just heard, "Um, like, she isn't needed if she has such strict availability. Uh, I got promoted to shift manager when I was 18." Gross. The drink was decent, but it tasted no different than any other Starbucks, so I'll go to a less trashy place next time. read more

Not terribly inconvenient for those traveling, I tend to stop here because I know the area and like this particular location. If you're north bound it will be easier than south bound given the roundabout and set up of this location. This is my go to Starbucks. It's closest to my home and in a great location (although busy traffic wise especially during work rush hours or school). I stopped in yesterday to pick up a mobile order of a drink and some egg white bites. It was mid afternoon and not too busy. They weren't very crowded so I decided to sit inside and enjoy my warm coffee and bites. The atmosphere was very nice, it was fairly quiet and lots of open seats. For any of you Starbucks fans; hopefully you take advantage of their app. I maximize it to the best advantage possible. Needed something refreshing after playing disc golf at a park nearby. I came in here to get a bottle of water, and then the add for a pumpkin spice Frappuccino caught my eye, so of course I got one, haha. Too bad there was only one size for bottled water, which was huge and way more (and more expensive) than I would have preferred paying for. But I guess it was good to quench my thirst for the long drive home from Indiana to Illinois. I like how you can choose the Frappuccinos to be caffeinated or decaffeinated. But when I lived in the area, I did occasionally come and do some work, away from my kids. The inside is a bit small and can sometimes be hard to find a spot. But it's a pretty busy location. I've never had a bad experience here. Does one ever, really, at coffee places? We bean heads love our caffeine dealers. My Peppermint Mocha today had a bit to much flavoring in it, but, it was still an uplifting cup of Joe. Altho, I do think it's total crap that the price of my favorite flavor goes up, simply because Starbucks deems it a "holiday flavor" right now. read more

Although I don't normally like to review chains, this Starbucks near my work is always on point. Their staff is very friendly and the drinks come out quickly. More importantly, they really take the time to get your order right. If you request customization on a drink, they've always got it right. A much better setup than the typical Starbucks with a huge open area and clean easy living and studying atmosphere that feels so welcome. This is what we need in any good coffee shop especially at these insane prices. I am not a fan of Starbucks continuously hiking prices without improving incredigent quality nor support their corporate tax avoidance through sneaky politics forcing us average Americans to compensate out of our pockets for their business trucks even thought they are a company started and run by the red white and blue. I do enjoy their incredible smartphone app which is very intuitive and offers all the necessary options for ordering but again The prices are not fair at all considering the massive amounts of sugar and overprocessed ingredients found in many of the menu items. Three of us did go out of our usual addiction to get a hold of the pumpkin cream which did us right. And a dragon fruit refresher which continues to be one of the few redeeming qualities here that I enjoy every time I try it, extra fruity and exotic actual pieces, not too sweet, and great hot day sip. I would love to see Starbucks become a more corporate steward showing others how to balance extreme popularity and mature responsible business practices. read more

the drinks are usually good and the place is pretty much always clean. it has a nice set up for studying/working, but the music is always SO LOUD and obnoxious. I wear noise-cancelling headphones and i can still head the music over it. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it was at least calmer music but it's so obnoxious that most of the time i leave 20 minutes after getting all my studying materials out. The newly renovated Starbucks is super nice! There are lots of chairs and huge tables. I love it! Before there were never seats in this store, but now I'm Sure we'd be able to find a seat at any time. It's really just very large! The parking lot is still very tiny and you have to go around the roundabout, which can be tricky. You must watch other drivers who have no clue or are in too big a hurry and will almost sideswipe you to hurry and park in a handicap spot. Well in the space between handicap spots. So rude. We live super close and pass by often so it's easy to come here, but usually safer to go to other locations. The new Strawberry Frappachino is excellent on a hot day! read more

Well it feels good to give a Starbucks 5 stars again. This Starbucks is huge!!! And the employees here have been trained great....finally some very personable and helpful employees! I've been longing to try the nitro coffees and the barista at the register recommended one for me to try. She wasn't bothered that I asked her and didn't rush me along. When my coffee came up, the other barista realized she poured me the wrong one and gave me that one plus the correct beverage. So now I've been sitting here for two hours very caffeinated! I will definitely be coming back...especially with the non-claustrophobic feel that this store has. I could hold a dance class here with all this open space! The only complaint I have is that parking is pretty slim, but they can't help that. I'll fight someone over a parking spot to come here and work! read more

It has been almost two years now, but I will never forget. I had a craving for a Frappuccino and my dog and I made the atypical choice to wait in a long drive-thru line at this Starbucks. It took 40 minutes. When I got to the speaker, she informed me she would not be taking my order as they were now closed. I thought it was a joke. It was 4pm. On the nose. She said they closed at that moment - no further drinks would be served. Who closes at 4pm? This was not posted anywhere and I had started waiting waaaay before closing time. I justifiably was not happy to have just wasted this precious time I've been given on earth. As I drove away, past the drive thru window where she was serving the cars that had been in front of me, I honked in frustration. While literally handing another customer a drink, this "barista" yelled to me, "Don't come back!" And when I tried to complain to anyone at Starbucks - anyone - they all acted like they were too good to hear criticism, like my complaints were irrelevant to their bottom line. So - clearly the "barista" was an idiot and didn't realize how stupid it was to advise me not to return. Don't come back? Please - tell me why on earth I would come back. I'm actually "afraid" to go to Starbucks now because I fear I might wait in another Starbucks line - of any length, even one person - only to be told they are closed and will not serve me. The demand that I "don't come back" was so ridiculously stupid. Starbucks still owes me the 30 minutes they stole from me last time. I would have to be a dead, rotting corpse to be forced into another Starbucks. I'd have eternity to wait in line, tho even then I'd choose not to order anything. They literally lost a customer FOR LIFE - between the way they treated me and then the way they handled it afterward. There are many places with coffee that is equally good if not better, less expensive, and the employees and managers aren't so self-satisfied as to think they can treat customers like garbage and assume those customers will be eager to return. Like I'm such a masochist - thank you barista may I please have another? (And another what, by the way? I left empty-handed the first time!) What a joke. The McDonald's Frappe is cheaper, almost equally as good, and McDonald's staff run circles around the junky wannabe "baristas" they have at Starbucks. I live in a universe where Starbucks does not exist except as a measure against which I can evaluate other crappy experiences, because Starbucks is my Gold Standard for how a business should NOT operate. This is the nicest Starbucks I have been to in a while. It is spacious, clean, and a little modern. I was meeting a friend up here for coffee after work, and while the traffic was hectic and busy, upon walking in I immediately felt at ease. Something about a smiling barista and the thought that coffee is on its way just puts me into a good mood. It also helps that there was so many tables so we could find a quiet area to catch up. I would definitely recommend this location if you plan on sitting and enjoying your coffee there. read more

This Starbucks was relaxing. I've never been at this location. I had a meeting with someone & I felt like CRAP! My sinus was kicking my butt that night. Thankfully I immediately ordered a medicine ball. Oh my, I swear within 15 minutes, I could breathe out my nose. I see why it's called a "medicine ball." Ok, so I kind of had a change of heart once I attempted to leave this Starbucks. I had met up with a friend of mine and it was easy to see from the road - the building, that is. You know how Carmel roads are... with their roundabouts and roundabouts and roundabouts and... you get the point. The Starbucks was right off of a roundabout - a busy one at that. I am a huge fan of any and all Starbucks products, but leaving the establishment was a bit difficult. There was no EASY way of getting back to the interstate. I literally had to stand by my car for a few seconds (staring at the roads) to figure out which way I needed to go. ha May I add, I'm a bit directionally challenged - but even so, I shouldn't have had stress leaving a STARBUCKS. I have always been an avid Starbucks fan and regular customer. This afternoon, I waited in line at the drive-thru for nearly 30 minutes. There were at least 5 cars behind me as well. So when I got to the speaker, the woman discourteously stated, "I'm sorry ma'am, we just took our last customer for the day." She refused to serve me. How easy would it have been for them to communicate to us SOMEHOW that they would not take a single customer upon closing. They could send out a representative to tell us, or put their chalk sign in the drive - ANYTHING besides making us wait and the refusing us service. I mean - I got to the line 30 minutes before closing. It's unjust and Starbucks lost a customer. I have no guarantee that the same thing won't happen again. The parking is horrible at this Starbucks. I'm surprised there aren't accidents. The staff does a good job and they hustle, but the drive through line STILL gets super backed up in the mornings.
