Seems kid friendly too - they have a cute whimsy bar for decorating cups and coloring paper. Ordered a campfire latte, and it was delicious. Will definitely be back if I'm in town!

My husband and I came here this past weekend during the Solara Market and had a good time. Parking…read morewas crazy due to the event and we had to park over by CVS and walk over in the rain, which sucked, but it was fun once we were inside. The back area with most of the booths had too many people in it at all times, which stressed us out. I felt like couldn't really look at everything and often had to wait awkwardly to the side until other people finally moved out of the way. I ended up getting a new permanent bracelet after one of mine broke a couple weeks ago. I hadn't looked at the vendor lineup before coming, but had hoped there would be a permanent jewelry booth there and was very happy to see Golden Era. The owner was so nice and told me that Milk & Honey often lets her come by for events, so that's nice to know when going back to get coffee again. We also got a couple of gorgeous floral shortbread cookies from a vendor and had them as a nice little treat the next day. Despite how busy/packed it was, it was still very fun to have the event to browse while sipping on a coffee. I also loved the booth diversity- a fresh flower booth to make bouquets, cookies, permanent jewelry, antiques, vintage jewelry, a few clothing booths, custom press on nails, candles, a mini bookstore outside, and a pet bandana shop outside as well. For coffee, I ordered The Eddie (sea salt caramel macchiato) and my husband ordered The Milk & Homey (cinnamon + honey). The Eddie was definitely sweeter than The Milk & Honey, but both were very tasty! They had a super cute "whimsy bar" set up at the pickup side of the counter to bedazzle your coffee. This was my first time there, so I'm not sure if this was just for the event or not. We also each ordered a turkey caprese sandwich with a side of kettle chips, but they were a little disappointing. They were supposed to be on sourdough, but came out on white bread instead that kept sticking to our teeth and made the sandwich mush together when biting into it. Would love to come back and try a different sandwich or maybe a baked good next time instead.

They offer about half a dozen different varieties of Rishi Tea, and I chose Earl Grey, because I love that bergamot flavor. But I've had Chamomile Medley before, and it is also great and very comforting. I thought I would just leave with a tea, but then I saw that they offer soup. Only one soup -- the soup of the day, which changes and happened to be parmesan kale on the day that I visited. Sold! What's more comforting than hot tea and a warm bowl of soup? The soup was creamy and had bits of kale and chicken in it. Almost like a chicken velvet soup (my favorite), but more earthy from the greens. The soup came with croutons, if you wished to add a little crunch to the creaminess. The people behind the counter were super friendly and efficient. They have to be, because Cabin Coffee also has a drive-thru, so they're helping customers from every angle. The inside of the cafe really does look like a cabin. There's also a little nook for kids with a mini table and chairs. There's also a semi-private meeting room, which I saw was reserved for a Bible study group. The place was hoppin' when I visited, which was nice to see. Cabin Coffee seems to be an important spot in the community.

We were greeted immediately by the ladies behind the counter. I didn't catch their names, but everyone was incredibly sweet and patient while I decided what to order (not an easy task with their generous coffee menu & tempting baked goods). I ended up with their popular cinnamon roll and a knockoff of the 7 Brew iced blonde with caramel. The cinnamon roll was fresh and absolutely delicious, I would definitely get it again. First sip of the coffee... aaaahh perfectionnnnn! I raved the entire way home about how good it was! Eremos has tables near the counter, plus an extended seating area with plenty of tables & couches. The space is cozy yet spacious, perfect for spreading out and a great WFH spot. The fireplace is a lovely touch that adds to the warm, welcoming vibe. This coffee shop has SO much charm, and I'll absolutely be back!

Thank goodness I wasn't behind the wheel; we would've drifted right into the parallel parking spot. Walking in, we got instant hometown vibes: cozy, welcoming, and staffed by the friendliest crew you could hope for. Customer service here? 10/10, would U-turn again. Claire helped me out, and let me tell you, I've never been so delighted to see someone behind a register. We giggled our way through my order, especially when I confessed to being a fake coffee drinker (decaf, please; don't judge me). Claire gave me the pastry lowdown and shared her personal favorites, but the real showstopper? Soy milk! Yes, actual soy milk; take that, oat and almond! I went all in with an iced white mocha with lavender and soy milk, plus a Bismarck pastry topped with toasted pecans. Every sip and bite had me doing the happy dance right at the counter; no shame. Huge thanks to every employee for making this such a memorable pit stop, and shoutout to the two random customers who chatted with me like we were old friends. If you haven't been, you're missing out. I'll absolutely be back next time I'm around! Parking is available on the street in front of the building and in a nearby lot. Check them out!!!

As our drinks were being prepared, we asked for the code to the restrooms. The code didn't work for either of us after multiple attempts, so I waited until the staff member was finished with the drinks and then let her know the code didn't work after several tries. "You'll just have to go somewhere else." My flabbers were truly gasted that a paying customer was dismissed so abruptly when they were simply asking for assistance with an issue. I'm sure the owner/manager will see this and reply with a note thanking me for reporting this, saying this is not the expectation and it will be brought up with staff, blah blah blah. Honestly, if you have to coach customer service personnel on proper customer service, that's a serious issue. And the drinks were just OK, nothing special.

I've been a loyal customer since the days of the physical member card, and even now that everything is digital, I still enjoy coming here. While I was there, the barista Marcus (I believe that was his name) was friendly and pleasant throughout my visit. I noticed some coupons displayed in the window and asked if I could have the coupon sheet to use on my return trip. This is not uncommon because they give these to customers to use. He was about to give them to me when another barista stopped him and said that the ones he was handing me were their last sheet. I was a bit confused, since the coupons were clearly displayed in the drive-thru window, and I wondered if more could simply be printed. When I asked, I was told they hadn't received additional sheets yet, so they couldn't give out the last ones. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be any effort to offer an alternative or accommodate the request, which was disappointing. I ended up leaving feeling a bit uncomfortable despite the great service from Marcus. The lady wasn't very kind with her approach but denying me coupons to SUPPORT a local business wasn't on my bingo card for my birthday. Anyway, I enjoyed my coffee, the initial service and supporting a locally owned business.

I got my partner an iced mocha and blueberry muffin, and he said he really liked both. I got a graham slam latte, which had all the s'mores flavors topped with cold foam, graham cracker crumbs, and chocolate drizzle. Yum! It was a very rich drink but very worthwhile. It's comfortable, welcoming, and there's plenty of space to sit down and get some work done. They also have some great food options and normally offer fresh made bakery items. Unfortunately, their baker is currently out, so the selection was a little limited this visit, but what they did have was amazing. I've tried both the cortado and the Cubano. They absolutely nailed the cortado. The Cubano was a fun surprise. It's Brickhouse's take on a café con leche, served in a 4 oz mug and made with steamed half-and-half rather than condensed milk. As a Cuban, I can be pretty particular about anything calling itself Cuban coffee but this definitely works. It hits the right flavor notes and gives you that rich, creamy coffee experience I'm looking for. This place rocks. So, I finally decided to stop in. Brickhouse is located in a larger strip center set back from Fall Creek Road at 96th. It has both indoor and outdoor tables. There's a curb-cut almost directly in front of it, and nearby parking offers accessible options. This strip center is actually fairly old, though Brickhouse moved in not long after the pandemic hit as I recall. It has survived and thrived, from what I've been told, because of their quality products, winning ambience, and friendly service. This is the retail home of Brickhouse Roasters. There's a strong element of faith as the cornerstone of Brickhouse as the owners were missionaries, and their stated mission involves using their coffeehouse as a training platform for missionaries. Brickhouse is locally owned and Indy-based. You can get their beans here, and there's a wide variety of options. Basic options include coffees, lattes, espressos, and all the varieties one would expect. Brickhouse also carries Nelson Teas, Thrive Kombucha, Pure Memory Water, Triple X Root Beer, Martinelli Apple Juice, Natalie Orange Juice, Evian Sparkling Water, imported Mexican sodas and other options. Brickhouse has breakfast and lunch options, baked goods, and quite a bit more. The ambience is definitely a winner. It's intimate yet bold, comfortable yet sort of invigorating. The employees I met were super friendly on a quiet Sunday morning. They are open seven days a week, though there's some variance in their hours. As someone who is almost embarrassingly devoted to my Keurig, I was pleasantly surprised to see they do have some pod options for retail. I'd just gone to a Yelp event, so I kept it pretty simple on this visit and picked up an iced coffee. There's no doubt I'll be back to try the baked goods. I also noted the friendliness of the customers. That's always a good sign to me. As someone who is frequently alone, I tend to go to those places where I can connect even if it's just a passing friendliness. I felt that here. I'll be back.
