The place is bright and has comfortable seating arranged for groups or individuals. I settled on the Malibu smoothie and was surprised when told that their smoothies come in a glass that I could take with me. They use paper straws which while great for the environment is not exactly sanitary as they're sitting on the counter and not wrapped so anyone can touch them, etc. The lady serving me also put the straw in my smoothie which was ok but maybe better to keep the straws out of sight and offer to guests as needed. The smoothis itself was delicious, not too sweet as you get at other places. The paper straw even held up until the smoothie was gone. If I'm back in the area, would definitely visit again.

They have some signature smoothies including Sunset Blvd, Newport, Santa Barbara, Malibu, and Calabasas, in addition to a few signature bowls such as an Acai bowl, blue bowl, and dragon bowl. I ordered the Hermosa smoothie, which it took about 10 minutes for them to prepare. Now they serve all of their smoothies in glass cups to save on waste. You can take the glass with you and they have a punch card that they punch when you return the glass. Ten punches (returned glasses) = a free smoothie. If that is California (not just the names of the majority of the smoothies), I do not know what is. My smoothies was pretty good and the staff there was very friendly, patient and helpful. I liked the shop's atmosphere (and did not feel like bring the glass back) so, i decided to dine in and enjoy my treat right there on the spot. For me, this was a wonderful alternative to my usual fast food. I recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.

I have this dumb goal of visiting and reviewing all of the Pana locations around central Indiana, because I just love this chain so much. Like all of the Pana locations I've visited so far, this one is just as great as I expected it to be. I have a standard order at Pana: a glazed twisted donut. At the very least, I get one of these. Sometimes, when I'm feeling especially indulgent, a glazed twisted is also accompanied by another donut -- usually a different type of glazed donut, like a glazed old fashioned or the ugly but exceedingly delicious glazed buttermilk. (Why are the most tasty baked goods the ugliest ones?) This visit, I got my glazed twisted, plus a few others to take home: a maple bar, a strawberry glazed with sprinkles and a raspberry jelly-filled donut. The service here is so quick. There were three people in front of me, but I waited maybe 30 seconds before someone was helping me. Then I was on my way with my bag of donuts in less than two minutes. There are some tables inside, so you can stay and eat your donuts here, if you want. I've never stayed and eaten inside a Pana. This is a grab-and-go joint to me. Donuts are my favorite sweet treat -- for my birthday every year, I get birthday donuts instead of birthday cake. So, of course, I had to eat my donut right away and it did not make it home. With my most recent visit on 5/7/2026, the man with the long hair and head wrap taking orders and slicing meat, was clearly agitated. He was observed throwing the meats and cheeses into the metal slicer with unnecessary force. I was tempted to leave when I witnessed this with the two parties ahead of me, however, I had been waiting a few minutes and was excited for lunch. When it was my time to order he asked me 3 times what I wanted and replied "of course you do" when I requested that my meat and cheese be left on the side. While retrieving the container for my salad the whole stack of containers fell on the floor which agitated him even more. I was scared to ask for a clean container (one that had not been on the floor) so I went along for the ride. He proceeded to place the ham, turkey, and cheese into the metal slicer, slamming the metal down each time (which I have never witnessed in my many trips to Jersey Mike's). All of his behavior elicited awkward glances between other customers and employees working alongside him. It was evident that this employee was not enthused to be working and his behavior rose to the level of inappropriateness that the young women working the cash register felt the need to apologize to me when I arrived at the register to pay. We all have bad days at work but when working in a customer-facing role, this behavior is not only off-putting but was aggressive and unacceptable. In a normal situation I would have asked to speak to the manager; however, the man I assume is in a managerial position has also been less than friendly and professional in my experience on one other occasion.
