I've been craving one lately and it hit the spot. They had sandwich samples so tried their turkey sandwich. Also I got to meet the owner and he was nice enough to let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie which it had sea salt and made with sourdough. It was also warmed up for me. I can taste the combination of the cookie and it was really good. I would get this because it's different and it works. The owner is really nice and explained how they came here to the valley and have other locations in Palmdale. Parking is on the street or the small paid parking lot in the back but on the other side of the block. I think this area needed something more modern like this.

Mario was the third person to check on me. He told me another batch was in the oven, but I was leaving soon. He apologized and offered any pastry on the house, particularly recommending the chocolate chip cookies he had baked himself. I accepted. When he set down the cookie, I asked if I could order an Americano. He returned with that as well, on the house. The cookie was huge, freshly baked, loaded with chocolate chips and just enough walnuts to stay out of the way of the gooey goodness. I broke off a piece -- soft, warm, the chocolate chips melting with every bite. You cannot have a better one. There was a steady stream of clientele representing the diversity of the neighborhood. The atmosphere is friendly, cheerful, and genuinely welcoming -- the neighborhood is enriched by it.
