Found a new cute coffee spot with a lot of options on the menu. Located in a shopping plaza with a small parking lot. Inside of the coffee shop is small but they have seating areas. They serve gelato as well and they have lots of crystals, which was my sister's favorite part! I like how they had lots of matcha options. Opted for the rose and they gasped if we wanted sweetened or I sweetened matcha. Honestly that was a first, so I was really happy about that. However, they had forgotten to add the rose water to my drink. They were nice enough to add it once we told them. I will be back to try their other options. read more

First time in. Glad for Yelp as I wouldn't have seen this place just by driving by since it's a busy street and it's a tiny strip mall. Service was great. They have lots of different matcha options - ceremonial, sweetened, and flavors like blueberry and lavender. Fyi, she mentioned if you get the sweetened matcha with strawberry that would make the drink a little too sweet. My bf got a large iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk. They charge a $1 more for non-dairy milk and for flavors/syrups. It was pretty pricey at over $20 for both drinks. For non-dairy milks, they have almond milk, soy, oat, macadamia, and unsweetened almond - lots of options! Not many coffee shops offer Chagaccinos but I'm really glad this place does because it's not too far from my house. Iced Chagaccinos is primarily what I come here for, but I've also had other hot and iced lattes and they've all been good. I also come for the ube desserts which are always a treat. I've been coming here for the past few years and I still haven't had their bibinka because they're only served on Sundays. Unfortunately, I don't have coffee type days on Sundays because it's family time for me. Oh well... This place is good for coffee. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and an Iced Matcha latte. The Vietnamese coffee was good, pretty strong. It was pretty standard. The matcha latte was not mixed well at all, there were clumps of matcha powder at the bottom on the cup. So when I was drinking it I got big chunks of bitter matcha with each sip, I did not enjoy my matcha much at all. The coffee shop has a great vibe inside. They sell some handmade candles, merch, bracelets and other trinkets. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you order matcha just make sure it's fully mixed up. read more

The coffee shop has books for you to read and many crystals, candles, sage spray, jewelry, and other items available for sale. Also, there are some books there you can pick up and read while having your coffee. Free parking. The indoor area has only three tables, so it is not suitable for working or large groups. The best thing here is the affogato which is not hard to make it's expresso poured over gelato. Otherwise the coffee and tea drinks that they have to make is not good! Visited this cafe after a year the day before Thanksgiving. The quietness, free wifi, and power outlets make this a convenient place to get some work done. However, during this visit, the items I ordered were underwhelming and a completely waste of $27. It's insane that I paid that much for an afternoon treat. Initially ordered their "lightly sweetened" matcha latte ($5.75), their iced barista blend which was maple something ($5.99) with a single shot of espresso, and their Dutch pancakes with chocolate sauce ($13)!!! The sweetened matcha latte was awful. It tasted like sweetened milk. They told me that it's because the powder is already sweetened which means it's not high quality ceremonial matcha. They offered to make me their unsweetened ceremonial matcha with a little bit of honey. Same issue. The matcha color was SO LIGHT. Zero flavor of matcha. I'm no stranger to high quality matcha (make it at home on a daily and have tried almost 10 different brands). This drink was very disappointing and I barely drank half and tossed it out before leaving. The barista blend latte was average. The color was SO LIGHT. Why give the option of "single shot or double shot" if the single shot is gonna be all milk, ice, and flavored syrup. It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste like coffee either and by the time the ice melted, it tasted like nothing. The puffed pancakes were so soft and below average for the $13 I paid for and the amount I got (6 pieces!!). Whatever topping you want is extra including the chocolate sauce, strawberries, etc. I've tried these pancakes both in the Netherlands and also have bought them from Trader Joe's many times. They have to be a lot more crispy and taste less like eggs. Overall, the only pros during this visit were that the staff were nice and that I got some work done. We were looking for a latte and happy to have found this spot. It was such a pleasant find on Ventura Blvd! They have lots of treats and a great selection of refreshers and lattes, which made it hard to choose just one. The staff were very sweet, and he recommended a delicious suggestion, the tuna melt! I was not disappointed. You can tell it's fresh and hearty (Which I appreciate). Today is my birthday. For my special meal, I ate a wonderful Mediterranean dinner and wanted to top it off with a special treat. Tang & Java hit the mark!! Small parking lot (corner of Ventura Blvd & Falbrook), but I had no problem getting a spot. This is my new favorite matcha latte in LA! I got the blueberry lavender matcha latte with oat milk and it was and perfectly balanced, just the right flavor and strong enough without asking for extra matcha (I usually do) The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the avocado toast was pretty yummy too. I'm knocking a star off because a lot of the chairs have been broken for months and they have yet to replace them. I even see them just using zip ties to 'fix' some of them. Ube brownie cheesecake was small for $7. The cheesecake frosting balanced with the ube brownie so it wasn't too sweet, although not as soft as I'd like since it's been chilled. Wish the portion was bigger for the price. The strawberry rose matcha tasted good with its floral notes.
