Cute little a lot, quiet with a decent amount of space to sit and study with outlets. They have cute religious books to buy as well but no pastries. Came here on a Sunday and found out their hours isn't open all the way u til 7, bc they take a break between 2-4 and resume from 4-7 js fyi if you plan on trying to stay there all day. Which they should change on here bc I was misled and had to find another place to study for the remainder of the day. They also are not open during mass hours. Over all cute and clean and quiet.

Coffee shop, no one knows about... so much free space!!!! My usual places to study have been packed lately and I need a breath of something fresh and new. It's clean and spacious with plenty of tables and there's even a community bar. There's some spots reserved to park in the parking lot and residential parking. It looks like a house, so don't miss it. Its behind a white gate, it's ok... you'll see COMMON GROUND etched into the glass doors. There's a few outlets, but this place is pretty empty so there's no competition... yet. Classic Chai has no sugar but it's tastes amazing!!! Happy Studying!!

Just an adorable coffee shop that is jointed with the local church. Great selection of food and coffee plus tea! While some may be jittered from the church being part of it, it's very homely inside. Gentle music playing and a clean atmosphere. The waitress is very kind and explained the area to me as well as the menu. She even offered to serve us our own condiments which we politely declined. If you like well made coffee give this place a try! A plus is the almond milk at the self serve bar!

This place is very lovely. I was there to meet my friend and this place is the best meeting place. There are plenty of parking spaces. Place is immaculately clean, quiet, and right temperature. Service was wonderful. I ordered a caramel frappe. Price is right. Frappe tasted sweet. I recommend people to meet their friends there to have great conversations. It's good for a meeting spot.

Beautiful little hidden gem coffee shop! A coffee shop, homemade baked goods and bookstore! It's so cozy and has space to work includes WiFi! I would definitely make the drive from Northridge to come here to de-stress over a delicious cup of joe or tea! You have to enter on the side street not off of Saticoy. Don't be thrown off because it's connected to a church, I was actually happy to find that out. Even though I'm a Christian and active in our church I didn't know this was connected to the church. Now, it makes me want to support it even more and it's really good! It's a great way to connect with the community and provide a beautiful space to enjoy.

This place is cute. I came in and it was very quiet and I was able to focus until the church people came in and started singing and praying. I put my headphones on blast.

Adorable little coffee shopbb located a bit off the road inside if the Church complex. Great patio seating with a cute layout inside. Currently decked out for the harvest season, and greated by the smell of fall spices and teas. Warm and inviting, with a great hostess! Quiet setting makes for a nice unwinding expierence and plenty of mindful book!

Know about those cute and cozy coffee shops you read about? Well this is one of them! The atmosphere is very relaxed as they play gentle music in the back ground. It's service with a smile. I came here twice when I was on the premises. It is part of a Church, which is why I love it all the more! They have plenty of seating that's indoors and outdoors. The place is super clean. Loved how they have a little bookstore inside. They offer small, farm style signs and numerous of books. They have great recommendations when it comes to coffee. They have frappes, lattes, and teas. They also offer small packaged snacks. They are reasonably priced. For a regular size its about 3 dollars if I recall correctly. They do offer almond milk if you have allergies. Defiantly, if in the area, should give this little, quaint joint a try!

I hadn't been to the Bloc in a minute, but making more of an effort to explore the city I was born in and our Downtown area, especially at social hubs like The Bloc. And I love some novelty items, art and tools for/of reading, even more so when it's very affordable. The Studio Ghibli is pretty nice as are various sections for music, history, spiritual and comic related things. Literally was whelmed with great finds, but decided to make my first trip (of many) in a leisure one to get familiar with the store. Great stationary. Great service and just great overall. Some of the isles can feel a little congested when there's an influx of foot traffic, put are still easy to navigate through as well as around. Kinokuniya has events, contests and updates on their website for their various locations. They also offer magazine subscriptions you can pick up in person. More incentive to stop inside for all the in-person bliss this book space has to offer. Open from 11AM to 8PM, seven days a week.

As an indie bookstore, you are offered a variety of items: cards, books, Knick knacks, magazines, and more. I think the best part of this bookstore is that they have a study area located in the back of it. Combined with the study area is a coffee shop that also sells beer. How cool is that! I was hesitant to sit at the bar since we were in a time crunch, but h would have loved to enjoy it. There were numerous patrons sitting around and having conversations and enjoying their beverages. The vibes eye very vintage yet hipster. Loved it entirely and I absolutely want to visit again !

While in Korea, I didn't know that Incheon Airport would have shipping boxes for excess luggage, so when I thought I would be limited by just the space I left for souvenirs and other gifts in my bags, I could've bought all seven Harry Potter books. As you can tell by the town I'm in, I'm in the Bay Area. Here in the Bay, we don't have a lot of Korean bookstores, and the one I could find here didn't really focus on fiction/fantasy books. I found this place after searching the internet for "Korean bookstores in LA/SoCal." I called and asked the staff if they had Harry Potter. They said they didn't, but they told me that if I found some store back in Korea that had what I was looking for, they told me to email them the link or something and then they would order the books for me. When I pointed out that by that logic, if I could find a book by myself and then pay for the store to mail the books directly to me, customs and all, then I'd just be doing their job. The employee told me to "take it or leave it," and they acted completely shocked that I did leave.
