Iced Oat Hazelnut Latte
Rani Z.

Time & Date: Wednesday, 6/16/21 @ 9:30am Location: On the Kaiser campus Payment: takes card ICED OAT HAZELNUT LATTE + CROISSANT -- $8.10 I wanted a quick bite with a sweet drink & conveniently this cafe stand had it all! I was craving a sweet coffee drink, but something a bit more elevated than a vanilla latte, so I ordered a hazelnut latte with oat milk and it perfectly satisfied my craving! I don't like my coffee drinks too sweet, and the level of this latte was perfect! There was quite a strong hazelnut flavor as well. I requested for my plain croissant to be heated up and that was a mistake; it was heated way too hot to the point that the croissant lost its form and turned soggy (bummer)! However it did pair well with the latte! (:

Blister hot tea burn
Courtney B.

I would NOT go here again. Because I have an infusion every other week for over a year ,I am quite a frequent customer. Yesterday I asked for 2 bananas, 2 hot teas, 2 mentos. First I was give the drinks with no sleeve. I asked where the sleeve was till it was vaguely to the side I took a very light sip of the hibiscus tea and my lips and mouth screamed in pain. I did not swallow but kept saying it was too hot can some please reflill the cold water I had. No nobody paid attention so I kept asking "hey this burned me do you have ice or cold water. No response. No said again can we assume to the cups so it can be drinkable. I told the woman the pain gotten than the rivers of hell to which and another guy laughed. but I was in pain. They replied "that's good now oh here' some ice Its been hurting ever since and I just look in the mirrors this morning and its a huge blister. I just got out of surgery where removed half my liver and now I can't feel my face cause it pain? ?? I told ringer guy and didn't care at all. Why could I been given a cup of ice or I'm sorry. His response was just waiting a bit and it will be drinkable. I wanted my money back but her was all over the place. I've never been handed a drink and told wait and hour before consuming it. I also dropped ATM card and nobody helped pick it up. instead the order taker and the people in line rolled there eyes in frustration. I want an ice cube but he didn't care if I lived or if I was in pain. He actually said I'd wait for 45 mins for this to cook. I also spilled said tea on my hands which turned bright red. It was a mistake coming there. Even passer Byers who bout coffee were warned to not sip they coffee for 45 mins... But I wasn't, they just wanted to get you in and out as fast as possible. to end, I never got ice. I ended drinking water from a botte in my car. it takes two second to give me water. I've been a barista more than twice for years not so know exactly how serve people. They were not that busy to be that chaotic in the process. I also asked for ice in the tea so since thy wont give me water maybee I can drink the teat. None of that happened. I will never ever come back. Arrogancy an when someone asks for help it too much for the 3 of the,

Iced SF Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk

i work right by Kaiser so i went for a little walk to the nearest coffee shop: Lorelle's! Todays a thursday and there seems to be a little farmers market around the shop which is so cute. Service was polite and helpful, and the coffee? SO GOOD. this is exactly how i want my almond milk lattes to taste every time (spoiler alert they rarely do). so glad i came here instead of blue bottle today- def my new go to spot around work!

The goods!

This place is a hidden gem. To a point where I'm tempted to sneek on site even without having a docs appointment! This little cafeteria alone will most likely keep me as a Kaiser client for years to come! Hands down the best croissants in town. And that is coming from someone who has lived in Europe most his life! Just get in early... or they will run out! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Bomb. I knew I would like it here…read more A retro coffee shop yet chill (came on a weekday late morning) and wasn't crowded, just one person doing work and some people coming in. When you come in, it's refreshing to see the open space. It's clean with plenty of seating whether you want to sit and dine and work or head to the back to just chill. I got their iced dirty chai. I've been craving one lately and it hit the spot. They had sandwich samples so tried their turkey sandwich. Also I got to meet the owner and he was nice enough to let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie which it had sea salt and made with sourdough. It was also warmed up for me. I can taste the combination of the cookie and it was really good. I would get this because it's different and it works. The owner is really nice and explained how they came here to the valley and have other locations in Palmdale. Parking is on the street or the small paid parking lot in the back but on the other side of the block. I think this area needed something more modern like this.

They were a bit short staffed in the morning and had a lot of orders so waited 10+ minutes. I didn't love the vibe inside but I liked the coffee. There's meter parking out front.

Not only is Jaren a coffee expert with years of experience, but he was so flexible and accomodating to ensure our wedding day was perfect. His passion truly shows in the quality of his drinks and that's something that you can taste for sure! He uses only the best beans and even offered a tasting to ensure it was exactly what we envisioned for our special day. As stressful as wedding and event planning can get, we did have issues with our venue and went through a few changes and Jaren was so patient and supportive throughout the entire process, offering support where ever he could. We appreciated his professionalism, quick communication, mad barista skills, and visual aesthetic of his coffee bar cart! The coffee was a hit and all of our guests enjoyed every sip. I can't recommend Mini Lemon enough for your next event or wedding! Do not pass up an opportunity to work with Jaren - he is incredible and knows what he's doing behind the bar for sure!!

This place is a hit. Try one of each and everything. I love that the sweets are not too sweet, the bagels are fantastic. No matter what you try you won't be disappointed. I wish they used dark chocolate in the "croissants " but still a big smile on anyone's face who tried them. Service I will say could use more smiles. I wish it was perhaps a bit friendlier but that's okay. Someone may have had an off day. Hopefully better next time. Ambience is cozy, even date worthy. Everything on display was picture perfect.

I got the latke tots as well to round out my carb fest - they are good, little latkes dusted with parmesan and chives with alioi to dip in. Yeah, that was a lot. Maybe I'll go back to my regular Smoked salmon bagel or eggs next time.

Not sure if it's worth driving to The Valley just for cake, but What Would Ethan Hunt Do?…read more Like I'm sure at least 30% of their clientele, I first heard about Doan's when multiple news outlets started posting about the magical White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake that Tom Cruise gifts colleagues and associates every year right before Christmas. Whatever you think of Tom Cruise, he is a towering figure in entertainment and thus a pillar of Los Angeles civic pride... if Pete "Maverick" Mitchell esteems a piece of dessert to this degree, who are we mere mortals to ignore such ambrosia? You can get a whole 10" cake delivered to you anywhere in America for $140... or you can make the trek out to Woodland Hills and get it for much less. For a simple "taste test" if you're counting calories or afraid of commitment, they also have Mini Bundt Cakes about the size of a large slice of cake for individual or shared enjoyment. The cake is good: I wouldn't say it's great... although I suppose to someone like Tom who rarely ever consumes sugar, it probably tastes like Heaven. Sweet but not teeth-achingly so, the mix of cream cheese frosting, coconut flakes, white chocolate chips, and coconut bundt cake really reminds me of something grandma would serve you when you'd go for a visit... Definitely would go great with some hot coffee with lots of cream and sugar. I got a Mini Bundt Cake and a cookie for $21.50... not the most affordable treat but also not an absurd price for something that has reached near-mythical status. Would I drive to The Valley just for this? That's a big HELL NO from me... but if I'm in the area and looking for something sweet and a story to go with it, Doan's Bakery provides a fantastic option.
