I want to share my experience with Ring Tofu Donuts. I live in West Hills and have been driving past this place for over 20 years and one day my son tried the donuts. After he tried them, he brought some home for me to taste. When I tried it, I thought, "Oh my God, this is so delicious!" They come in many flavors. They're fresh, light, also healthier and lower in calories than regular donuts. Some of my favorite flavors are chai, matcha green tea, ube, Earl Grey, and mint chocolate chip. They also have very good drinks. I have become addicted to their sea salt matcha green tea drink. The owner is amazing, and so are the staff. They are eager to learn sign language and make Deaf customers feel welcome. My husband and I are Deaf and the owner learned sign language to communicate with us. We love coming here. I've driven by this place a million times and never really noticed it until it popped up on my IG. It's near the mall and Costco, so it's convenient to stop here before/after running errands. I'm not sure if there is a parking lot for the store, but a couple cars were parked on Owensmouth right in front of the store, so that's what I did as well. The store is pretty small very limited seating. I think most people get their order to go. They're known for their baked tofu donuts, offered in a variety of flavors including some vegan options. Not sure what exactly that means, but it sounds much healthier than a regular donut lol Donuts run $3 each, though you get a slight discount if you buy a pack of 6 or 12. I got donuts three to try: ube, chocolate chip, and matcha. I also got a dragon pearl jasmine tea ($3.50) as it was a hot day out and I wanted something light to cool down with. The donuts were delicious! The flavors came through nicely and they were super soft and chewy, more like cake than donut. My parents also liked them as they weren't too sweet. My favorite was the matcha, but everyone else said chocolate chip was their favorite. I was disappointed by the jasmine tea. I didn't realize it would be brewed with a tea bag, and to be honest there wasn't much tea flavor. It felt like I was drinking tea-infused water rather than tea itself. It seems like their matcha drinks are popular, but I wouldn't recommend the jasmine tea. read more

Small little coffee shop with killer donuts. Ordered the sea salt cream coffee... absolutely off the charts. Had to come back and grab another one for the road. It was my first time there and everybody in line was throwing out recommendations like I'd stumbled into a secret club My daughter was running a half marathon around the corner and the coffee shop owner supported the runners with a free drink after the race. The sweetness level was perfect for anyone who prefers less sugar in their tea, coffee, or boba drinks. I also tried the Sakura Mochi flavor because it sounded unique. It tasted more like a red bean donut (a few red bean pieces inside, I forgot to take a photo). This one was definitely sweeter than the matcha, but still very enjoyable. I think it would pair especially well with a cup of tea or coffee. The owner was incredibly friendly and happy to answer questions about the flavors, ingredients, and recommendations. The only downside is parking. You'll likely need to find street parking and walk a short distance.
