There is now only a single bar style row along the windows. I came as a group and there was no way to sit together to chat. Took full advantage of it. Tasty.

I even asked the young lady at the tail if they had any "oat fudge bars" she picked around the corner and said yes. So, after paying for my order, I went to the other side of the bar to await my oak fudge, bar, and coffee. When the coffee was ready, I indicated to the barista that I was still waiting for oat fudge bar. Without even looking up, she waved her hands towards the tail as if to say "not my department." I waited about 10 seconds, and then repeated myself and a young man merely said we don't serve those and walked away. Feeling my temperature rising, return to the 'til, and again expressed that I have not yet received my oat fudge bar. This time the young man who initially walked away from me, looked at me with an expression that screamed "I don't care, I get paid whether you're happy or not". He told me again "we don't serve those. Do you want your money back?" Honestly... I usually get great service from every Starbucks I've ever walked into. Fun at the Pemberton Plaza just seems to have an air of "I don't care"

Especially that girl barista with a light brown hair. I seldom see this kind of customer service anymore. Takes time to say hi and asks the customers how their day is going. Sadly it's something you don't see often nowadays. You can tell that her regular customers know her. As for the store, it is clean, plenty of tables, bathroom is clean, there's plenty of parking, service was fast. Music was not blasting as some of the Starbucks I've been to. I have been getting venti and even trenta size iced green tea at various Starbucks because of the hot weather. I hardly customize my drinks, so I only realize last week I could get my drinks with extra ice. I did that at a couple of places asking for extra ice. At this outlet, the staff changed my order to a grande size iced tea but in a venti cup to accommodate the extra ice. So that essentially helped me save a bit, which can add up since I have been ordering that drink almost everyday. Kudos to the employee for taking the time to think about that. He also reminded me to use my stars before they expire (that has happened to me before). Awesome service here! Before covid and restriction, this is a very nice place to sit in and have your drinks. I like the tables by the fireplace (great during cold weather) more than the little alcove at the back. Parking is plenty as it is at the market crossing plaza. This is one of my go to Starbucks.
