I love this location because it has an entrance on both sides, making it feel more open. You can quickly go in the back side to grab your mobile order from the counter. Even when they're really busy they're always friendly and efficient, and they've never made any mistakes on my drinks at all. Also, of course, the location is super convenient. read more

This Starbucks (at the corner of Robson and Thurlow Street) is lucky to have phenomenal nighttime staff working at this location. I'm talking stellar service with a smile and some cheeky playful banter, if you have any to give or get. Had a glitch with my BOGO mobile order (2 Venti Chocolate Mint Frappuccinos) and went into the store to troubleshoot the order 15 minutes before the store was closing. Not only did the staff find a solution, they delivered exemplary customer service without even flinching. Kudos to the dream team! read more

This is one busy store. We stopped by a couple of times on way back to hotel after shopping on bustling Hobson. Baristas were friendly and service was brisk. We usually were able to find a seat to rest our tired feet and enjoyed our lattes before heading back to hotel. They had good merchandise selection and we bought souvenir mugs to commemorate our Vancouver visit. read more

I'm not a fan of Starbucks (aside from the Reserve location on Main St), but I do come occasionally to get my green tea latte fix. A girl needs her antioxidants! As usual, I ordered the venti green tea soy latte with 10 scoops of matcha powder. Once I received my order, I left the premise immediately without trying my beverage. Big mistake! There was barely any matcha taste in the drink and that was all because there were tons of matcha powder lumps in my mouth! It was a very gross feeling. I then opened my lid and saw that there were also a lot of matcha lumps floating around. This was a case where 1) the barista did not mix the powder properly and 2) did not do a quality check. This rendered the drink un-consumable. I chucked the entire drink into trash. It also costed me almost $6 for this nasty-tasting drink. read more

Great Starbucks right on Robson Street. Came here twice for breakfast in the morning. Staff are very friendly. My coffee came with a heart froth which was super cool! The line wasn't a long line at all, compared to other Starbucks, which is so great to see. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese which was toasted perfectly. Their apple fritter is delicious! Now that this is the only Starbucks at the corner of Robson & Thurlow (remember back when there were 2 Starbucks stores at this very intersection, diagonally across from each other?), this is THE de facto Starbucks to hit up when you're out shopping on Robson Street. Prime location aside, this store has been redesigned to be a Starbucks Reserve store. Yay for specialty coffee! Lots of varied seating options (comfy chairs, wooden bar bench with stools, tables at the back, etc), wide range of product (they receive more variety & stock than other Starbucks stores since they are such a high volume sales/traffic store), and friendly baristas. Wow! This is the most beautiful Starbucks I've ever seen in both the U.S. And Canada. And so you know, Starbucks and I are best friends. Walking in I was taken back by the decorations and furniture. The leather couches, the stairs this place was packed with people and their laptops. Super chill and relaxing. The cashier was very friendly as we ordered the usually, hot green tea and an iced caramel macchiato. Both drinks were made beautifully and neatly. Nothing worse than getting a sloppy $5 coffee The only thing I was a little sad about was there is NO outdoor seating. Very unusual for a Starbucks in the downtown setting. The location is great. It is good place to relax after shopping on Robson. They have comfortable chairs and it looks like it was renovated recently. It good place to watch shoppers walking by on Robson. The drinks and food are average and the same as at any other Starbucks. The best thing about any Starbucks is free WIFI from Bell. This location has very nice bathrooms and very clean. This might not last long. This is only location open until midnight, maybe they will start selling wine and beer like in Seattle. read more

this starbucks has reserved coffees. pretty awesome to be able to try diff coffees from the regulars. pretty decent size with lots of sitting. located near all the shopping so a quick caffeine boost before shopping some more. free wifi so us states people can quickly check email and yelp for dinner options. not too crowded when i came and the coffee came out pretty quick. overall a nice clean starbucks with a few extra options that i enjoyed. read more

I have to say, I never like this particular location. I loves only two blocks away but I always go to the one near Safeway on Robson. The service there are awesome, unlike this location. Service is usually bad. (Only few people are nice, majority of people works there are having attitudes.!). On top of that, they burned the coffee most of the time. There are lots of Starbucks in Downtown. If you don't want to see a shit face with attitude then go to any other location. The Barista did a good job of making the coffee, however, points are deducted 'cause of the roll of the eyes attitude and the whole, "I would rather be anywhere but here attitude" when ringing me up in spite of me being all cheery and happy. There is very limited seating inside. read more

it's a starbucks. is there anyone on here that hasn't been to a starbucks? so why am i review this one? well, this sbux is on a a crazy busy corner of robson st. it offers free wifi and a public bathroom (which is pretty gnarly sometimes but when you gotta go, you GOTTA GO!). it's sbux so you know the coffee you're finna get (meh) but when i'm travelling in canada and don't have international data roaming (what i look like? bill gates?) this is a convenient spot to stop in, grab some kinda overly complicated coffee drink, use the facilities, and then gtfo so i can continue my shopping. read more
