As for Starbucks, this is my favorite location. This is a comparison between Starbucks and not a comparison to other coffee houses. If you follow me you know I spend a lot of time at coffee houses and mostly at Starbucks. Mainly because they are located in locations where I frequent or drive by. What do I like about this location? Friendly baristas, always a greeting or hi when I walk in. Efficient service and fairly large location for seating and ample parking. It is a chain and should all operate the same but I have come across others that just are not up to par on the service and this is ultimately a service industry. Not one of the newest locations but they have outdoor seating and a small private meeting room (that you need to reserve). I have never had a mistake on my order, again fast and friendly. They take the time to get to know you (in the short time they have to converse). read more

I stayed across the street overnight and since the hotel wasn't offering breakfast, I looked out the window and saw this Starbucks like a beacon of light in the dark. I decided to order from my phone, pack up, then drive over. I went through the drive through and it was super fast! Sunday morning, speedy coffee. I let them know I was here for pickup and when I pulled up, my coffee and breakfast wrap were ready! The barista was very friendly and welcoming -- just an overall lovely experience. This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations! The drive-thru is always super speedy even when they're busy! The inside is nice and spacious and a perfect place to grab coffee or get some work done. The staff are always friendly and attentive. My last visit here I was actually given the wrong Frappuccino and when I called they offered to fix it right away for me! I loved that! The service for customers concerned about the environment is seriously lacking. If you purchase one of their highly over-priced reusable personal mugs/glasses, you will be told that they are unable to fill it with coffee on that trip. They will tell you that you have to take it home first, wash it and dry it yourself. And then bring it back to the store to have it filled. Crazy. If you rinse your own travel mug at home, and it is not completely dry, they will also refuse to fill it. In addition to this, and keep in mind, this is from personal experience, on many occasions, and at many locations, if you are lucky enough to give them a perfectly acceptable travel mug/glass to fill, they will then use another regular plastic glass of their own to make your beverage, which they will then use to pour into your travel mug/glass, and then throw away their plastic glass. This defeats the whole purpose of trying to keep plastic out of our landfills! Once I discovered this, I asked one of the Starbucks employees how I could avoid this. Luckily, she gave me an option, which I wanted to pass on to others... She told me that if I drew black lines on my portable glass, then they would not need to use a throwaway glass to make my beverages in the future. These black lines are needed because they are fill lines. Of course, that trip, she was unable to draw the lines on my portable glass herself, because that also, apparently was against their policies. So I still had to have them throw away their plastic on that trip. I did make Phil lines on my portable glasses when I arrived home, which matched a clean plastic glass, which she gave me as a sample to help me draw lines on my own cup with permanent marker. Of course, if you go to the drive-through, you will never be able to use your portable glass or mug. I have tried that on several occasions, and I'm always told no. So... If you care about the environment and do not want to waste plastic and prefer to use a reusable glass or mug. When you visit Starbucks, you have to go inside to make your purchase, even if you are in a hurry. I am hoping that these policies change in the future. Starbucks is overpriced, but has good beverages and food and very friendly staff. They are just handicapped by very stupid policies. read more

A great place. But, when, WHEN, will the lawn and maintenance crew clean up the dead and almost dead plants. Been a while, but plants are still very dead. Did I say dead? They trimmed the tree but did a half assed job. The dead bushes along the drive up are sooo dead. At the price of coffee, get bushes that are alive. If there are green leaves, the bush is alive. So, the ground crew came! They covered the ground with mulch. Thats it!!! No trimming on the half dead rose bushes. The dead bushes on the drive up are still DEAD Much time has passed since I wrote about the VERY DEAD BUSHES. Does anyone read this and do something about this issue? Can the dead shit be pulled out. Often screw up simple orders. I am fairly sure I have received a mocha with no espresso in it before. Also, I have always been able to pass an old drink through the window in the drive-thru but was told it was a health code violation. I totally get it! But as a suggestion, place a waste bin at the end of the drive-thru like any other half decent fast food resturant. read more

Food orders to the drive-through we're flying out over the 10 plus minutes I waited. The cashier, who was friendly and trying hard, walked over to apologize every few minutes. Appears the drive through orders get priority over walk-in orders. Finally had to leave, asked them to give the wrap to someone else free. Called the store after to let them know I was disappointed. The response "well, sorry, it was coming out as you were leaving". Would have expected a "stop back by tomorrow and we'll make it right". Sometimes they fail to give napkins when food is ordered and I've some spills because the green stopper was omitted. The barristers are always friendly and I haven't had problems with speed. Drive thru person handed cover to husband by the top of the cup, the lid came off before my husband abandoned could go an it and scalding hot coffee spilled all over his hand.
