I've been going to the Associated & Imperial Starbucks daily at 5:00 AM since I retired about a year ago. I'm an espresso drinker and I enjoy reading the LA Times. The paper gets to this store two hours earlier than my home, so I cancelled my subscription and get it here. Staff at this store is excellent. They know me and make me feel at home here. They know my order and begin preparing it in the little ceramic cup that I prefer as soon as I walk in he door. I truly appreciate Chris, Gabby, Amber and the whole morning crew. The drinks here are the same as any other Starbucks, but the customer service makes it a great place to pick up your cup of joe. The staff is very attentive and personable which always makes for a pleasant experience. Additionally, they have a nice patio for patrons to enjoy the sun and fill up on caffine. read more

I used to go to this Starbucks when I worked near by all of the time. I transferred work locations for about 2 years now but continued going there occasionally. I go to Starbucks every single day. I'm a very avid goer and addicted! I am usually in a rush every morning. So I typically use the pre-order feature. The last few times I had gone in I was very displeased with their service. They didn't have the food item I ordered on the mobile order, which was fine if it was their first time. But they don't even offer this food item at this location... EVER! I recently had consistently poor experiences at another Starbucks nearby. I switched up my drive so I could pass by this one instead and I am very glad to always receive great service. The girls that worked this morning (Wednesday) are super sweet. We all know starbucks is great, so it's really the customer service that we rate...I mobile ordered my drink off state college and ball and had a soy based drink, I grabbed it and hit the road driving to my hour in chino hills, 5 min on the 57 and a a sip later I realized the Starbucks i Mobile ordered at had messed up my drink. Not wanting to turn around I google mapped the next closest starbucks and this little gem popped up. I got out of my car (not really wanting to cause I was bumming it with a bright orange ducks shirt and sweat pants), with my mobile app receipt ready and stepped in line to speak to the cashier. The cute blond with long hair smiled at me and asked how she could help. I explained the situation and she took my drink no questions asked. The other cute blonde with shorter hair (kick ass cut) took my drink and remade is super quick. I was really grateful, but not just because they remade it, but because they took my work and was sweet about it. I get it, mistakes happen, I'm not mad at the other starbucks, but this one really shined because I didn't order my drink here and they still made sure I was a happy starbucks customer. Back in the day, before there was a Starbucks on every corner, it was a place where serious coffee drinkers could go get some serious coffee and speak with baristas that were knowledgeable and informed of the coffee they were serving. Came here to grab some tea and chat after lunching with an old friend at the nearby California Fish Grill. The barista was overenthusiastically friendly. It is a small small location with only a few little tables, and one big table near the front; during the course of our time there, several people walked in, looked at the full tables, and walked out. The little tables are awkward to sit at if you are tall (not my problem, but my friend was trying not to trip up people who were walking up to order), and have limited access to outlets. The patio is also pretty small, and shares space with the next door cafe. I wouldn't pick this particular Starbucks for an extended visit due to the space constraints. read more

This Starbucks location is pretty small, but pretty nice. Items in a busy shopping center in Brea, and if you come at the wrong time, it's hard finding parking. This Starbucks has almost everything you can find at any other locations. Unfortunately, the only drawbacks is that seats are hard to find here and there is no drive through. Other than that, this place rocks. The staff here is really nice (Chris is always awesome, especially in the mornings!). I love coming to this location in the morning on the way to work. It's conveniently located close to the 57 freeway entrance, so it's easy to just jump on the freeway after grabbing a cup of coffee. read more

Pretty standard Starbucks compared to other locations I've been. Quality of the drink has been pretty consistent. Staffs are generally nice and will greet you. Some are more lively and bubbly than others, you usually can catch them on the more bubbly side near Xmas. The only downside to this place, is as others have mentioned.....its small inside and out. read more

I'm here Monday-Friday getting my coffee fix before work. Everyone is so nice here and they really take the time to get to know you and your drink. I love the greeting I get in the morning and without even having to say it, they're already taking down my drink order. Service is very quick, they seem use to the morning rush and are really quick with getting everyones drink to them right away. They are the only ones that can make my drink right. read more

Best Starbucks ever. The baristas are all friendly -- and they can take a hint if you just don't feel like joining in their chatter. Seating is a bit tight here, at least inside, where most of the seats are bar stool height with high tables to match. Today was my first visit to this Starbucks, and they left one of the best impressions I have ever had. I had ordered a mobile order for 3 drinks, and they were ready when I arrived. When I went to pick them up, my clumsy self spilled some of the drinks and made a huge embarrassing mess. I felt awful, and they offered to make the drinks again. The sweetest barista that helped clean up was so nice to me and even apologized for the wait (which was obviously not their fault!). Hands down, my new favorite Starbucks location in the area! I've been to all the others, but this is definitely where I will be going from now on. This store is much smaller than others, sure, but what keeps me going here are the baristas. They are EXTREMELY quick and efficient, they are super friendly, and they have consistently conjured me up a perfect drink every time I go. Decent little, major emphasis on little, Starbucks. The drinks are all made in a decent fashion. The one main thing that I have noticed that is lacking in this location is staffing. Rarely are their enough staff to properly handle the traffic through the small area that happens to be the queue line. You can expect to get nothing but attitude here n when you ask to speak with the mgr Gabby she doesn't even acknowledge you. I asked the girl to remake my latte because I don't like foam on it, simple request but apparently not to her she threw my cup in the sink then asked if I was going to stand there n watch her! At that point I felt I probably should lol after her 2nd attempt I asked for someone else to please make my latte as I asked her to please put more milk in my hot drink n she said do you want me to put cold milk in it?
