    fly in display case

the cake pops were good, but there was a fly in their display case and it was very loud when i was there today. it took a while to make my drink, even when it was not very busy. certainly not great.

Large Starbucks with plenty of areas to study. Quick service. Kind staff. Clean store, and in a shopping center with plenty of other shops.

Looks like a grande got poured into a venti..?

This location is only a few blocks away and a straight shot on my way to work in the morning, and yet, I will be going out of my way to find an alternative from now on. For the third visit in a row my drink has been made incorrectly. This time (see pic) the "venti" had 2 inches of empty space before you hit coffee. And no, it didn't have whip cream that melted. Sure, complaining about complex, gourmet coffee being mixed incorrectly is probably going to come across a little.. high maintenance. But here's the truth: if I'm going to pay $5 every morning for something I could essentially make at home, it had better be consistent and well made. Starbucks ALWAYS used to hold to a very high standard, repeat your order, spot-on every time. Lately, none of those things are happening. And at this point, it simply doesn't make any sense to go there every morning, and drop cash to get... whatever the barista chooses to make me.

Minus 1 star for not giving me a paper protector for my cup. Seriously? You hand me a cup, in the drive thru, over my head, with no "thingy"? Not sure if it's an Idaho thing to save the environment, but really... Drive thru wasn't bad, staff was friendly, drink was as expected and it is around the corner from the gym I go to in the morning. I'll be here more often!

I love Starbucks. No matter where I go, I will always find the drink I'm familiar with. The stores are always clean and staff is friendly.

Bright Vibes, Excellent Service, and Delicious Drinks!…read more If you are looking for a great new coffee and pastry spot in Boise, Coffee With A Twist is a must-visit. The interior vibe is bright and inviting, featuring comfortable pink squishy chairs, retro couches, and standard tables. The customer service here is top-notch. I ordered the Blueberry Cinnamon Roll Twist and asked for it warmed up, but received it cold because it missed the note at checkout. When I brought it back, the gentleman at the counter was incredibly polite. He explained that they normally serve it cold so the cream cheese topping doesn't melt. I told him I didn't mind the melt, and he immediately warmed it up for me. It was phenomenal--warm, rich, and even better than the standard Cinnamon Twist (which was also excellent, flaky, and perfectly spiced). I also tried two drinks: 1. Iced Banana Bread Latte with Cold Foam: Super creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. 2. Vanilla Bean Matcha with Oat Milk: This was my first time ever trying matcha. Because I have hypothyroidism, I read up on how matcha can be beneficial for thyroid health depending on the milk and syrups used. I was nervous it would taste like dirt, but the oat milk recommendation was perfect. It completely smoothed out the earthiness, and the hint of vanilla made it incredibly delicious.I am officially a matcha convert and will definitely be back to order it again. Big thanks to the friendly staff for a great first visit!

After taking a scheduled post holiday break, owners, husband DK and wife Sarah…read moreKelly, announced on January 3, 2026 that they have sold the little building that was White Rabbit (and before that Petite 4) to David and Lizzie Rex, Wylder Hospitality Group, and they will not reopen. If you're holding gift cards or gave gift cards as holiday gifts, get in touch with the Kellys (at the White Rabbit number or page I assume) as they will refund them. Sarah is a remarkable chef and DK could teach a master class on hospitality. Those two things combined are part of the reason their businesses, White Rabbit, Petite 4 and prior to that the downtown sandwich shop Bleu Bird (in the space now occupied by Lemon Tree) were so popular. The Kellys say they are staying in Boise and that is a good thing for all of us who like to eat; to see where their creativity will take them. In the meantime, the Rex's have built a wonderful restaurant empire of successful, quality enterprises in less than 10 years since relocating to Boise from California. Best known among them is The Wylder and Percy, both in downtown Boise, but they also own others including Wyld Child that is in the same neighborhood as White Rabbit. So it is very good news for people who love good food in Boise, that the Rex's are the people who the Kelly's contacted to buy their beloved buildiong. It is early days but new owners suggest they will do an Italian themed pizza and pasta eatery.

Now to elaborate a little bit more, upon walking in you get hit was a splendid aroma of Italian spices and fresh dough, I knew we were going to the right spot. My buddy and I quickly made our way to the bar eager for a drink and some good food. Brandon greeted us and immediately got down to business telling us about their Italian spin on the classic burger as well as a customer favorite chicken saltimbocca (a seasonal special). Boy was Brandon spot on. The burger was one of my favorites in all of Boise. It's not your average burger, it's jam packed with flavor and spice. I am not entirely sure of what they put on it but it reminds me of a pepper Italian salsa, the flavors combined very well with the meat. The fries are thick cut and remind me of a combination between a thick fry and a potato chip, it's probably my favorite cut I've ever tried. Great potato to crust ratio and just the right crunch to them. As for the chicken saltimbocca that was a first for me, and after that first impression I will be going back this week to have it again! The cheese, mash potato, and chicken combination was splendid. The mash potatoes were rich and thick!! There wasn't a single bite left behind on either plate. Not only was the food splendid but the atmosphere created by both the bartender Kayla and other employees like Brandon was second to none. Everyone sitting at the bar that night became friends and the laughter we all shared added to a wonderful day. I highly recommend this place for any type of date night or if you're looking for a good eat!

What really stood out to me is that they greet you like they are truly happy to see you. Even on my first visit they made me feel welcome, and now every time I walk in they greet me like a familiar face and make me feel right at home. That kind of consistency and warmth is rare and says a lot about the people who work there. The space itself is fantastic. It is always spotless, the ambiance is relaxed, the music is great, and there are so many comfortable places to sit depending on your mood. Sometimes I relax on the couches, other times I grab a table or sit near the window and enjoy the view. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, which is perfect on sunny Boise days and makes it a great place to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. It is one of those places where you can easily spend time working, meeting someone, or just enjoying a great cup of coffee. They also have great food, which makes it even better whether you are stopping in for a quick bite or staying a while. Everything I have tried has been fresh and really good. You can also tell that management cares about both their employees and their customers. When a place is run well it shows through the staff, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, and District Coffee absolutely delivers. I am new to Boise and this is one of the first places I recommend when someone asks where to get great coffee or find a comfortable place to spend some time. I have also had great experiences at their other locations. Boise is lucky to have them.
