This is the best Starbucks by far! The Barista's are great: they make it a point to remember your name & drink. I do miss some of the original staff but the newer staff (Baristas) members are gradually coming along - but they aren't as quick to give you a free drink/coupon if there's an issue or mistake...not too happy about that :-( But they still got me coming back!! ;-) read more

There's nothing particularly unusual (relative to other franchises in the chain) about the product or service here, but the converted bank space does make for a nice aesthetic. Unfortunately, however, the hard surfaces and vaulted ceiling combine to create a lot of sonic reverb, making it hard to concentrate or talk in here. Also, the space feels cold and uninviting, partly because the nice building makes the furniture appear particularly cheap. read more

If I had to choose the best Starbucks in the Columbus area, My vote would go for this one. I usually don't go to Starbucks to work or study because i don't feel they are unique enough for the atmosphere. This one is very unique and has a great open feel to it. This place is great for sitting inside or outside as it is right on Main Street. My toddler enjoyed this place as well since she could chase after birds outside. Starbucks did well choosing this location. I usually would go to the local place near here but their lot was full and so I made a trip here instead. I am glad I made that move as I like the inside of this place better. Also I ran into an old colleague here so it was worth it. Great location, ambiance, and coffee. I still love their Pikes Place as it is one of my favorite cups of coffee. read more

Uh, wow! This Starbucks was once a bank. They kept the key features (high ceiling, large lights, vault door) but managed to make it comfortable and inviting. Loved that you could sit in the former vault - although I don' t know how the wifi connection would be in there. This Starbucks has amazing decor. Apparently, the building used to be utilized for banking, which is why one of the rooms is actually a vault complete with antique door. There's a few pretty chandeliers too that add a very high-end touch when you walk in from outside which has the entire building supported by grand columns... I ordered an Oreo Frappuccino. This location underwent a renovation which I thought was a good ideal. The flooring and new chairs are great. However, they stuck this long bench with two side seating near the entrance. Not sure whether to walk in front of seated customers to form a line or just walk to the counter where determining who is next is difficult. To further complicate things the area to add sugar and napkins is at the end of the extremely long counter. This location is very busy, so to try to put sugar and stir your beverage among waiting customers bumping into you while reaching for their drinks is ridiculous!!!! Could have done better. I frequent this location sometimes twice a day. All I can say is I have purchased my grounds, lots of half and half as well as whip cream to now create at home. Please fix this !!!!! read more

You can't go run when it comes to a white chocolate mocha. Always a favorite drink of mine, I am now considered to be a regular for the most part. The staff knows just how I like my drink and are always very courteous, and friendly. I enjoy going here as the setting is in a old bank. The vault door still exist and there is modern seating inside. For the chili Ohio days there is also a nice fireplace with posh leather chairs and friendly people. read more

The staff was really nice but a little slow there were 7 people in line and 5 workers....only one was cashiering and one was making drinks so I had to wait a good 15 minuets for my drink. I love you, SBUX Bexley! I just started coming here more often in the mornings and they are on their A-game to get everyone served in a timely manner AND with a smile. They have the nicest employees in the mornings that greet you, are funny and get your order right. I'm in and out the door quickly which I appreciate so I can get my butt to work on time. Let me start by saying I love Starbucks....however, when you run one of the biggest & busiest locations in the city, you need to staff appropriately! Service is everything, & so is timeliness. I waited 40 minutes for a latte yesterday at 3:00 pm. 40 min!!!!! At a Starbucks, which I thought would be a quick stop for a pick me up, before I picked up my son. We'll, I was late for pick up, & when I inquired with 1 of the 2 baristas behind the counter, they offered no apology, or acknowledgement that they were really behind. I would have left without my coffee, but at that point, I would have been out $4 & 40 minutes, with no alternative offered by the staff! To whom ever manages this location- you need to find faster baristas, or more realistically, staff more appropriately, for your volume of buisness. If this was a one time thing, or someone quit, etc. than your staff should be more accommodating & offer some consolation to inconvenienced customers. And also, at least be friendly! read more

This Starbucks would be 5 stars if the parking lot wasn't as small as my driveway. It's got everything you'd need, plenty if space, more than usual outdoor seating, and aesthetic appeal that most Starbucks don't have. It is built inside the remains of an old bank, they kept the safe, that they let customers walk in and out of. It also features two large chandeliers on the ceiling, and a 24 hour deposit box outside. I just love the feel. read more

This Starbucks is slow. They never seem to have enough staff making drinks. The time estimate when ordering off the mobile app is woefully off. It will always say 4-7 minutes to make a drink but it is usually 15-20 regardless of the time of day. read more

I'm an avid Starbucks goer. My partner and I frequent a different starbucks near me almost every day. This starbucks is on our way to other things, so we have stopped here a couple of times instead. When it comes to food/drink, it's the expected experience of a starbucks. Good, sugary, sweet. Baristas are nice. No complaints there. Where this starbucks loses 3 stars is that every time we have gone, there has been only 1 barista working drinks for one of the busiest starbucks around. This is in the dead center of Bexley, on Main Street, and lines are frequently 5-10 people long to check out, let alone get their drinks. Every time I have come, there is 1 person working the register, 1 person in the back/working food, and 1 person working drinks. This leads to 10-15 people at a time waiting for their drink at the end of the bar AFTER paying for it, and a 15-30 minute wait for it at the quickest. Now any busy starbucks you should expect a wait, but for one with this volume of customers having only one person making drinks is just a horrible decision. We try to avoid this one (and there is a one down the street in the Market District that is 10x faster and same quality) anytime due to this issue. The coffee was fresh made that is a plus.. the atmosphere is great and that is a plus also! The negative, walked in yesterday evening and the barista, was putting on his apron.. he greeted us by a "whats up" , proceeded to take our order while leaning against the counter holding his head with his hand... never said a thank you, a smile or nothing! Without the stellar atmosphere, this place would probably have 3 stars. They are notorious for making weaker than usual drinks, but I'll take a watery chai if it comes with a fireplace, chandelier, and the opportunity to drink it in a "vault" room. As others have said, it is a Starbucks that has been converted from an old bank- giving it a charm that's unlike any other Starbucks in the country- and dare I say, world. Lots of seating at the Bexley location, inside and out. It's an old bank that has been turned into a Starbucks so the inside is very open and bright with all of the Windows. It's a good working environment for sure. They even have a little back room area where the safe door is still there where you can work in a more private space. The baristas are always very friendly and start conversation with you up until you pick up your beverage. I am here often and like spending time there. It's also located right downtown Bexley on Main Street, so shops and other restaurants are in walking distance. read more

Tends to be very crowded and noisy. Loud music also. It's kind of neat that the building in which they are located used to be a bank, and so there are extra tables in the vault :) But if you are sitting in there and people are talking, it is extremely loud. I love Starbucks coffee, but finding a seat for two can be difficult, parking is minimal, and prices are a little high. Try Cup of Joes one block west instead! read more

First of all, I would have put no stars, if I could. I do not believe that this place knows what a good customer service is. After charging me more than double what I should have paid, they did not want to reimburse me, and offered a free cup of coffee (the overcharge was $12)! They eventually told me that I could come back for a refund. They refused to check their order history (hence they gave me only about $9 back) and NEVER APOLOGIZED, AND TREATED ME TERRIBLY at the store. Please make sure that you ask for a receipt (we were never given one) and check it thoroughly as they might have charged you 2,5 times the amount you should have been charged (provided you even want to go to this place). read more
