Had to go to this location to redeem my birthday free drink reward that I received in the app. The service here was actually pretty good and they were fast and helpful with my order. The only reason they are missing a star was because of the space in there. This is one of the smaller Starbucks locations and since the one on light Street got closed. I'm guessing everyone is heading to this location so it's a little bit tight in there For the amount of space that was available. Not the cleanliest location, but if I'm ever in a jam and wanted to use a coupon I would make the stop again. read more

This Starbucks is inside the Southside Marketplace and conveniently right next to Chipotle so it's easy to grab both in one stop. They share a private parking lot. There's no outdoor seating or drive-through, but the inside has plenty of seating, a cozy atmosphere, and a nice vibe for getting work done or just relaxing. I usually place mobile orders, and service has always been fast. They consistently get my drinks right, and my coffee always comes out just the way I like it. read more

Ok, so I'm not a regular Starbucks patron, and thus don't know if certain things are normal or not - here goes. The other day I wanted an afternoon pick me up while I was out running errands. I stopped into this Starbucks to get a misto. I ordered it sweet with pistachio flavor. Ordering and payment were a breeze, and my misto was ready quickly. I grabbed my drink and hit the door, waiting a bit for my coffee to cool down to sample it. It was distinctly not very sweet. So much so, I stopped at another Starbucks at Harris Teeter to add Stevia, which was helpful for about 2 sips... Then I realized my misto HAD BEEN sweetened at the original Starbucks I went to, it just wasn't stirred the first time around. Is it normal for folks who work here not to stir things? Is this an expectation I should have? Unfortunately, adding additional sweetener made the misto undrinkable. I won't make that mistake again. read more

I have been fortunate to pop in for my two favorite drinks, Medicine Ball and now Peppermint Mocha Frappe. Awe it's the most wonderful time of the year when ai can get my Peppermint mocha fix. Food and tea were tasty. I had the Ham & Swiss Croissant with the English Breakfast Tea. The service was exceptional. The ambiance was relaxed. There was music playing in the background that had me being reflective in my chair. The beat and the rhythm were just right. And this Starbucks had plugs/electrical sockets. My oldest daughter wanted coffee from Starbucks on our way to pick up dinner. She ordered and paid for an iced pistachio latte on her app for pick up. When she got to the mobile pick-up counter, the employee couldn't locate her latte. My daughter pulled up her purchase on the app as evidence. It turned out another employee had set the latte at the cash register instead of the mobile counter. My oldest daughter was given a four dollars gift card as a peace offering. You guys need to turn off your order ahead mode. Placed my order. Half was ready and the other half was not. Waited over 20 minutes with coffee and had to leave. Yesterday I ordered an oat milk espresso. I noticed with the first sip that there were small particles floating in it and it had a distinct sour taste . I drink an oat milk espresso most days of the week and I know what they should taste like. I brought this to the attention of the barista who explained " it's the espresso. I'll make you another one." I thanked her but mentioned I thought it was the oat milk. She kindly made another one which tasted and looked exactly like the first. Again i said it was the oat milk and she disagreed with me. I didn't drink it and took it to my neighborhood Starbucks. The barista there took one look and said " the oat milk is spoiled .Id be glad to make you another. Thank goodness you didn't drink it . it could have made you sick." when i called the manager at the THIS Starbucks she said " Thanks for letting me know." This little parking lot works out but I'm sure it can get crowded when it's the perfect opportunity and people are lined up to eat Chipotle and drink Starbucks at the same time? Maybe not. Okay Okay, perhaps it isn't the "Yelpiest" of places BUT it's close to my yoga studio, has plenty of free parking and has fast wifi. For me, those 3 things are very important. 1) Proximity 2) Parking 3) Fast internet connection. There's one long table in the middle that is good for study groups. And there are approximately eight 2-top tables good for singles or 2 people. Windows line the wall so plenty of natural light. It got pretty crowded and noisy around 9am but the rush didn't last. Music is good for studying/work but if background chatter/expresso machines bug you, bring headphones. The latte with coconut milk and oatmeal (berries, nuts & brown sugar) were good as expected. Listen carefully for when your order is called. I thought I was listening but when my oatmeal never came, I realized it was sitting up there for who knows how long. Only "bad" things are it can be packed during the school year, so getting a seat can be hard and getting a seat with a power outlet is even harder, and there are only two outdoor tables. As another reviewer said, fairly young studious crowd present. Be careful backing out, I've seen a couple close calls with fender benders. read more

This happened a while ago. Hot brewed coffee made the cup flimsy and burned my hand when I placed it in my car cup holder. Returned to the store and explained the situation. They just looked at me funny so I at least asked for ice. They gave me a few pieces of ice cubes on plastic cup lid. The parking lot is a nightmare. Parking is like trying to get an elephant in a shoebox, but the difference is that parking can be done. There is a lot of traffic in the parking lot and if you aren't quick about easing into your space, don't expect other drivers to extend courtesy and give you room. In fact, they may just inch forward more. Once inside, the place is roomy with much seating and very clean. We went in to order because there isn't a drive-thru at that location. We didn't stay because we had to get back on the road home with a 6 hour drive ahead of us. When we got to the counter, the girl asked what we were having. God forbid you add any extras or have a special order. You could hear the rattle of her eyes rolling without them even moving. To make matters worse, I had the audacity to ask if we could have our flourless cookies warmed because to be honest, they are good without warming, but divine when they are. I expected her to rip her apron off, throw it on the floor, and storm out. If her intent was to make it known that she was unhappy with anything less than a standard order, she did it. I'm sure that everyone in line was aware as well. Much to our surprise, the young lady making the drinks cheerfully went along the way making the drinks to order, but making them perfectly. Her smile and kindness made what started out as a bad experience an almost pleasant departure from the place. This Starbucks was out of the way, but we needed Starbucks and turned around and went back about 10 or more miles before making the rest of our trip. It may sound crazy and like we are diehard Starbucks fans, but my daughter had a spinal cord/brain tumor removed a few weeks before and because of the severity of the intracranial pressure from csf leaks, caffeine (extra shots in an already highly caffeinated drink) helps to alleviate it to a degree. It didn't help to be dealt with like we were an inconvenience instead of a paying customer like everyone else. read more

Over time, the service and quality of my orders have deteriorated. I have got to say this sbux has become one of the worst ones I've been to. Unfortunately, this is the nearest one to my house, so this the one I go to the most. It's become so bad that I've just started making my own coffee at home. I don't know what happened to the one guy that was so good at making drinks. Every one else just needs to be fired. I don't know who they are hiring but everyone is just horrible. While holding my husband's drink (ice green tea latte), she's looking at me asking "is your drink iced" and then proceeds to look at my husband as well. Please tell me how confusing that is. So, as a normal human being, I asked if she was talking about my drink or his. She just keeps asking is it iced or not. Pretty cool and spacious location with an ample parking lot and plenty of seating. The food almost looked fake it was laid out so nicely and looked so pretty. I asked for a ridiculous off menu drink and they offered suggestions and whipped it up with a smile on their face. It was delicious. While it was in the teens outside with snow everywhere still, the sun coming through the window the afternoon I was there was killerrrr. I was sweating and sure I'd have a half-body sunburn. Luckily someone finally put the blinds down. That, and the fact that two of the tables I tried were super crooked keep me from giving that fifth star. It's also *fairly* accessible if you want to get on and off I-95 quickly. I say fairly because that's in comparison to getting easy access to most anything else in the area. It's the last exit before the toll and tunnel heading north out of Baltimore, and you can get back on the highway in 2-3 minutes in the same place. read more

This is the most welcoming and lively Starbucks. The staff are always so upbeat and friendly. They even write happy messages on your cup. Today I accidentally placed my order twice and Leo who was handing out the pick up orders caught it and stopped the second order and reimbursed me. Turns out they made one of the drinks twice and Leo walked it out to me in my car. He easily could've just tossed it out but he went out of his way to bring it to me. Super sweet. read more

Why this Starbucks is amazing: 1) Lots of seating and table space 2) Natural lighting afforded by the large windows 3) An ample number of power outlets 4) Late hours (open until 10pm) 5) next door to Chipotle (get your fix of American capitalism all at once!) This is the most spacious Starbucks within close proximity of the Inner Harbor, and it's usually filled with a bunch of students and young professionals camped out with their laptops. Inside is another story. This is one of the larger Starbucks I've been in. Wifi is free (duh) and fast. The staff are friendly. Plenty of plugs for your devices. This is the most unfriendly Starbucks, I've ever been to. We went there about 11:45. We ordered four drinks. Only one was labeled. We asked if certain drinks were ours, the employees rolled their eyes at one another. Talking about us, because we didn't order the right way, I called my drink skinny instead of light. I have been trying to find another place that makes an amazing chocolate chip blended drink. This item wasn't on the menu, so I asked the cashier were there any other drinks than the ones that were listed. He said no. So I asked about the chocolate chip blended drink and he said they did have that. He put in my order and I moved along. The place was not well organized. The bar area was dirty and the milk and sugar area was dirty. They were understaffed so the barista was making a lot of drinks back to back with no help. I give no stars. I've been to this Starbucks only twice and have had bad experiences both times. The parking lot is too small. Ok I'm nitpicking but the restaurant experience sucks too.
