    Peach Cloud "Matcha"
    Kristin G.

I have been wanting to try Haraz after seeing all of their delicious Matcha options online. I finally was in the area and able to stop in. Beautiful coffee shop, desserts looked amazing. Great place to work if you're not noise sensitive however the matcha was absolutely one of the worst I have had. I ordered the peach cloud matcha and somehow paid for the biggest they had, the cashier didn't ask what size I wanted. Then when it came out I was very confused because it looked like coffee. I was telling the person that I ordered matcha it's no way this is matcha. They said the peach flavor turned it that color. I absolutely don't believe that because I have seen so many pictures of their matcha. Not trying to be problematic I gave it a try and Needless to say it was as disgusting and a waste of my money.

Turn left as you enter the mall area, that's where you'll find their stand-alone building. Parking spaces are tight. I ordered caramel macchiato, base coffee tasted good, sweetness lingered for hours though! Friends said red tea was good too. Bee Bites - Soft, easy to pull apart buns filled with cheese, honey on the side or drizzled on top Chocolate Temptation - Delicate and light, just the right amount of sweetness. Mosaic - They have a couple of selections but pistachio was surprisingly good! It's like a soft chocolate bar/ brownie fudge. My fave among the 3. Can't tell if it's because they're kinda new that it was packed, but outdoor seating would be nice (if possible). If you are thinking of studying there, the noise level increases as more people come so maybe think about where to position yourself. Staff nice, area well-maintained, possibility of running out of silverware but they have plastic utensils out. Complimentary water available too. Clean up after yourselves, would help if you don't put (cake) plates on top of each other. Generic suggestion.

The ambience and aesthetic of Haraz coffee house is almost too classy. The decor and lighting is beautiful!! I ordered pourover, would pass on it. But they have really great signature coffees; the one with cardamom is divine. Harazi Mufawar is what is the name of the drink I tried.

Ordered a saffron latte and a banana latte, an almond latte, an almond tart, a Dubai chocolate mosaic, and a mango milk cake. I have to say I was a little disappointed by the overall experience, although I have to give the mosaic a 10/10. The lattes were decent. I LOVE that they give you the option to choose the sweetness level of the drinks. However, now to the not so impressive; the almond tart had a date paste in the base (I THINK). It left too much to be desired. It was missing something, just not sure what. The mango milk cake was too sweet, and the mango tasted synthetic, so it wasn't all that. The ambiance was beautiful; I just loved the arabesque pattern and the Turkish lanterns. The staff was also nice. I really appreciate when staff gives you their input. Overall, I was disappointed by the experience, but the mosaic lift up my review.

Haraz Coffee House offers a variety of Yemeni caffeinated beverages and sweet treats. Being brand new, there's still quite a buzz so it can get busy at times. It's definitely worth the wait though. Haraz is absolutely beautifully decorated and offers ample seating for guests to relax and sip. On this particular visit, I decided to order an iced pistachio latte. After a few brief minutes, my order was ready for pick up. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing, but it satisfied the tastebuds with a well-crafted blend of sweetness and the bite of the coffee. Absolutely no complaints! Service was fast and friendly. Definitely swing by if you're in the area! (FYI, ordering ahead is available with the Toast App)

Stopped in for a matcha and there were lots of different "cloud matcha" flavors to choose from. I was told that some of the flavors like vanilla and pistachio are made with flavored syrups, while the fruit flavors are made with real fruit puree. I decided on the strawberry matcha and to my surprise, instead of puree it seemed like small crumbled pieces of freeze dried strawberry or something hard. The taste was fine, it just wasn't what I was expecting. It was also one of the most expensive matches I've had at $10.55. Service was ok. I arrived and spent some time looking at the menu since it was my first time, but wasn't greeted at all until I said hello first. Plenty of parking as it's off to the side of a plaza and there's also a drive thru.

This new coffee spot in White Marsh area it a great addition. From Turkish coffee and ice coffees to frappes and more, I love the variety of drinks they offer. There is a pleasant area to sit and relax with friends. The food items are tasty too - mainly desert items. The service was excellent but chaotic. However it was also packed with a line of customers with only 45 minutes till closing. They do open early and have a drive through which I am not sure if is in use yet as they had it closed with cones. Definitely worth checking out!

Haraz is a new neighborhood coffee shop and very cute, very clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would rate higher if there were more food options available than just pastries but the matcha is very good and a great place to get some work done.

Stopped by on our way home and it was convenient to have a drive thru spot for delicious drinks and pastries! Right off 95, this cafe is perfect for a quick pit stop. We got the haraz latte, saffron latte, adeni chai and cloud matcha. All were delicious and not overly sweet. We also got the bee bites which were really tasty and paired perfectly with the drinks.

I was really excited to try this new coffee shop. I was excited for something a little closer to home instead of having to drive into the city all the time. I will say that the shop is really cute and has ample seating and standing room. The wait to get to the register to order was about 30mins. I ordered a mango matcha in a glass cup with a butter croissant. Was given my table number. My sister order part of her order to go and 2 items to dine in. My butter croissant came out in less than a minute. However the matcha came out about 10-15minutes later in a plastic to go cup. By this time the croissant was cold. When they brought the matcha in informed the girl it should have been in glass cup. She says sorry and walks it back but then returns and said they are too busy to remake the drink. So I asked for a manager. I informed the manager of the issue and noted that it was very unprofessional and lack customer service. I have been avoiding plastic for medical reasons so the fact that it was matter of fact approach made the experience very of putting. She did offer a refund, but i was so frustrated I just wanted to leave.

A new coffee shop in the Baltimore County and it's Yemeni...yes!! I've always felt like the city gets all the love with the best coffee shops but with the grand opening of Haraz Coffee House I can put that notion to bed. I popped in on opening weekend and although there was a bit of a much expected wait, everyone working ran the business like a well oiled machine. The interior had a modern decor with a very inviting space. Haraz' is definitely a place I could see myself catching up with with a friend over Turkish coffee or utilizing the space to get some work done. The staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining some of the pastries in the dessert case. So I opted for the Bee Knees pastry and a Saffron latte. Both items were very appetizing. With so much on the menu I look forward to trying, I can't wait for my next visit to Haraz Coffee House.

Beautiful and comforting coffee shop! I enjoyed trying the iced coffee with the authentic flavors of Yemeni coffee! I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was very full, they had an efficient system with very little wait time given how busy it was. The coffee and Biscoff milk cake were delicious! If I'm in the area I will stop by again.

Terrible espresso. I watched them pour the shots and that shit was coming out like a broken water hose. For a $8 latte, that's insane.

I looked at the menu before I arrived and called in my order. I settled on the boneless chicken tandoori meal. I also requested the green chatni (chutney?) sauce. It came with stewed curry chickpeas, salad, basmati rice & naan. I got the garlic naan and I believe it's an up charge for the garlic version. They give you two big pieces, which could be saved for a quick sandwich the next day. I was less than ten minutes away from the restaurant, so there was a bit of a wait for my meal to be prepared. After about ten minutes, everything was ready. When I got home, I was so excited when I pulled the container from the bag. The aromas of garlic, spices and flavors filled my home. I poured the chatni sauce over my chicken, rice and salad. It was all so amazingly delicious. The chicken was ridiculously tender and flavorful. The salad was simple and fresh. And the stewed curry chickpeas were surprisingly very tasty! I normally do not like consistency of raw/uncooked chickpeas, but in this meal, they were so very good! With tip, the meal came to about $28. A bit on the pricier side, but not a huge shock with the current state of the economy. The servers and host were accommodating and very kind. I would absolutely go back!

Service - I ordered the food in store and the food was ready in almost 15-20 mins. The restaurant was clean and had good sitting area, but I would prefer takeout. I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.
