I come to this location a lot since it's near my home and hadn't thought to review it since I go to lots of Starbucks locations between here and Van Nuys. Drive through is always quick for me here which is convenient when I'm on my way to work. Everywhere I go, I always ask for my grande iced drinks to be poured in a venti cup so the extra space can be used for extra ice. I do this because as someone who takes a long time to finish their drinks, I like them to be cold for longer even if it means it's watered down when I'm almost done with them! Today however, after coming to this exact location for five months now I was told that's not allowed. It was a new woman I've spoken at the drive through taking orders because I've never heard her voice before. I let her know I've done it plenty of times before at this specific location and her answer was "Yeah well that's a new policy." Whatever, she offered she can give me my regular grande drink and then a venti cup of just ice on the side for me to pour myself. Like what? You're going to give me extra trash to carry in my car and I have to pour the drink myself when you guys could've simply done it yourself and not wasted a whole other cup + lid?? I don't usually review Starbucks as I am an avid coffee drinker and have yet to encounter a problem at Starbucks but I am still in disbelief about the "coffee" they served me this Saturday around 11am at this Baldwin park location , I took a sip and instantly regretted it. The cups is half empty as I poured some out to see if the color changed. Unfortunately no this is what the barista at this location chose to serve. How does quality control work at this location ? As a barista how can one think this is acceptable . This is not what a pike roast looks like. My mom comes here every single day before work for over 10 years. Maybe even 15-20 years. Since they opened. For the first time in a while I met my mom here to buy her a cup of coffee before work. After our purchase I accidentally left my wallet here. They were gracious enough to hold my wallet for me. Really sweet employees, they all know my mom. This Starbucks in Baldwin Park is a very convenient location. There's a drive-through here and there is a lot of parking here in the plaza. Generally speaking I'm a huge mobile ordering person through the Starbucks app. I tend to not like to have to wait in the store for the baristas o make my drinks. The store itself isn't humongous so there isn't much space for people to sit around and do work or whatever they enjoy doing. There have a few tables that they have outside especially when it's a nice day outside and it would be a great spot to relax. Try the seasonal items and there's always a few gems that I like to order. The team is very friendly here and everything was great the last few times I was in here. read more

There are about 3 partners (employees) here that are amazing. If you go through drive thru, they are all quick, and nice. If you go into the store; it's like every other Starbucks, no employees engage with you. You can be standing there waiting for service for 3-5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Used to love this store, reminded me of Starbucks back in the 90's ... (110% service) Now it's just like every other Starbucks; mediocre product - 50/50 on the service from partners. I was just here about 30 min ago The young girl at the drive thru window was very sweet and has great customer service but whoever made my salted caramel mocha frap needs some re training, why was it so light brown? And melted and little to no flavor? The only flavor I got out of that cup was the caramel drizzle. Starbucks is not the same. It's like hello can I get some caffeine with my blended/melted ice? I am writing this in hopes that it will reach the corporate office. I ordered my coffee through the drive through ..the lid was not securely placed on by the batista. Coffee spilled all over my hand my lap as well as the interior of my car...the girl at the drive through didn't offer me anything but napkins. I was told to pull around and wait...I couldn't wait. I hardly go to starbucks and thought i'd give it a try. I stopped by at this location on Saturday night on 4/26. The worst service i've ever received at a location. I was so disappointed considering giving starbucks another try. It was 2 guys working and the one taking my order seemed so annoyed that we were even there or ordering and got my entire order wrong. When I tried asking them to fix it, they just walked away from the window as if trying to ignore and dismiss me. I come to this Starbucks quite a bit but usually only use mobile order. Tonight I was pretty disappointed. A friend and I came by at 9 to study, their store hours on Google & Yelp stated they were open until 10:30, when we pulled up their hours showed they were open until 10:30p. But the doors were locked and no one was inside, not even an employee. The drive thru entrance light was off too. We walked back to the car, and then an employee popped out from the back, like she was hiding in the back waiting for us to leave. Weird. I've been to this Starbucks on multiple occasions. So far haven't had an issue. They accidentally added cinnamon into my espresso drink this time around. Lucky for them I'm not allergic, and double lucky for them it actually ended up tasting pretty good with my drink . The interior is on the smaller side for Starbucks, there are like 3-4 standard tables and maybe 2 high top tables. Service was pretty standard to me for Starbucks so no issue there! read more

We love the service at this Starbucks! Very fast and the barista's are so friendly and knowledgeable about all drinks. They sometimes recommend drinks we would like since we go there so much. They have become friendly faces and we appreciate all their hard work. Those lines and customers can be a handful at times but they handle it with grace. This is the best Starbucks I've gone to in a long long time. I literally drive 3 miles out of way to get to this Starbucks, even though I pass two other Starbucks on the way. I can tell it's under great management and the team members actually look at you when they greet you. The place is very clean. It seems that a lot of other Starbucks have slacked off a lot. My drink is DELICIOUS EVERY SINGLE TIME. No other Starbucks makes it better than this place here. At other places, it's always a 50/50 chance if your drink is going to be good. I used to be a regular at this location as the 76 located next door is where I go to put gas. The other day, I decided to switch it up and go to Coffee bean instead so I already had my coffee in the car. I was running around town doing errands, when I ended up having to use the restroom. I have IBS and sometimes it's urgent when I have to go (if you know what I mean TMI). I was close by to this location, and decided to park to run in really quick to use the bathroom. I was taken aback when I asked one of the female baristas for the bathroom code, and she decided to tell me that "The bathroom is for customers only, and I'm welcome to buy something first". I've never had any issues at any location, so this was a first. I mean I get it, but at the same time, using the bathroom is a basic human need, and me using the bathroom wasn't directly impacting her in anyway. Starbucks makes plenty of money, if they are trying to "cut back" on costs etc. This experience just left a bad taste in my mouth, I'll just head to a different location for future reference. read more

This is my usual go to because it's so close to work. This morning I was the 1st person in line and patiently waited 5 minutes at the drive thru because I was waiting for them to open. All I ordered was regular coffee but when I asked for a stopper she said "we're out" then closed the window and walked away where I could clearly see a cup full of green stoppers. As I tried to get her attention she just ignored me. Anyways as I got to work the lid was not secured and I spilled half my coffee and burned myself. It's probably just the weekend morning staff? This is my go to Starbucks and frequently visit this location. The staff are very friendly and about 80% of the time my order comes out correctly and tasty. However, it's happened a couple times including today that my latte order tastes burnt and really gross. I normally get a venti cinnamon dolce latte with oat milk and whipped cream, so it should taste sweet and like cinnamon. It's really disappointing since it's a lot of coffee and quite a bit of money going to waste. My other go-to drink is their matcha latte with oat milk and vanilla sweet cream. they usually get that right if they clean their shakers well, so I think I'll stick to that from now on. read more

My boyfriend and I go to this Starbucks regularly and we always have a pretty good experience with friendly staff at this Starbucks location. I haven't had any of my drinks messed up on before and this is our go-to Starbucks to pick up a quick drink before heading out for a day at Disneyland. I ordered too many drinks here - from Pokemon GO frappucinos to a nice hot Chat Tea Latte to any of their limited time only frappucinos - and the quality of service and drinks have been consistently good. In terms of Starbucks gift cards, I LOVE their selection of Starbucks gift card designs as I found that they have a wider variety than most other locations that I have gone to. I enjoy collecting different Starbucks gift cards so this is definitely a plus for me. read more

TLDR: They got it together both inside and at the drive thru . I've now been here more than the 3 check-ins I have on Yelp. It's not perfect but it is very good. Outside there are plenty of objects you can lock your bicycle to and plenty of parking. Inside there is a modest amount of seating (6 tables). The store is not very big to be fair. Never thought that having a bathroom would be important to add in a review but as the last place I went to didn't have one (Sophie's donuts) I guess it's more important than I thought. The two gender neutral restrooms are clean and so is the whole store. The coffee is good not great but it is very consistent, the same can be said about the food. The Wifi is free and "fast" (M-LAB). The outside area is also modest but nice with tables and shade. read more

Worst Starbucks with the worst customer service I've ever received at a Starbucks. Today I went into this location at 5:00 pm. It's Thursday so they had the buy one get one free deal going on. I ordered a Venti lavender matcha with no ice the girl continues to put grande in the system. Im reading it and I repeat myself let me get that venti plzzz! She said yesss I will let me scan ur phone first. I waited 30 minutes for my order to be exact. They are literally skipping everyone who came in the store to place the order. Giving priority to drive thur and mobile orders. Finally I see they set my drinks on the counter. Two GRANDE drinks I ask the girl hey is my order ready. I give her my name because my name was never called and my drinks had been sitting there for 5 mins. She was like "Yess these are yours" I was like I ordered the venti you guys charged me for the venti. She was like if you want venti we will have to remake your drinks you will have to wait and pay the difference. I was like what do you mean the difference you guys are changing me $7.65 mind you the venti lavender matcha is only $6.75 at his location. She starts getting crazy with me rolling her eyes trying to charge me extra. I was busy I didn't even make it to pick up my daughter from school. I told her you know what I'll take the drinks just leave it. As I'm driving home I decided to go on the app and I'm literally checking I got overcharged cuz like I said a venti is not $7.65. I live all the way in Covina sooo I picked up my daughter. Went back to the store I asked to speak to the manager. The girl that came to talk to me was the same girl with the attitude that goes by the name of Jackie. She was more calmed I took the drinks back and told her I was most definitely getting overcharged she was telling me the prices went up. I told her I know they did but why is the app telling me that at this exact location the venti drink I'm asking for is literally $6.65 she starts looking into the system finally after I had to come back she decided to take some consideration into what i was telling her. To tell me that the reason it came out that expensive was because they charged me for extra milk. Never did I ask for extra milk she was like "because you want your cup fill to the top right" my cup was literally half milk and half foam. I told her you know what I had to come all the way back here just give me my refund. This girl calls herself the supervisor but has 0 idea how to run store how to deal with customers and how to talk to people. Every Starbucks I been to people have never gave me such bad service. Rolling eyes and getting loud. She didn't even know how to give a straight answer about anything. She said she didn't know anything about the prices i simply don't understand how she's a lead. I told her I wanted to talk to her manager. She said the manager is Matthew. I asked her when is he at the store cuz I want to talk to him. She said she had no idea. To moral of the story is that I wasted all kinds of gas, time and didn't even get my drinks. This Starbucks has horrible customer service starting with the "supervisor".
