Didn't really feel as If I was valued as a customer. I say that because I'm not a everyday Starbucks coffee drinker. So I'm not familiar with the verbiage or the menu. I can't remember the name of the guy who was assisting me but I do know that he was not very helpful or patient.. I was wanting to use my app to place an order, so thag I can get use to it. Instead of showing me or helping, he directed me to the cashier. Keep in mind there was no one behind me, so he had time. Other than that everything else went good. This is my go-to Starbucks in North Austin. I've ordered from here several times and have always had a great experience- my drink is always made the same, the staff greet me as soon as I walk through the door, and the drive through moves very quickly. This is a less popular Starbucks so there is rarely a wait time, and the cafe itself is very clean and organized. My only complaint is that it's not the easiest to get in and out of. The drive through blocks some of the parking out front and there are speed bumps in literally every direction (when you come often enough, it drives you nuts). Quite a busy location - By noontime there were barely any open seats available and I had to sit at an outdoor table for awhile until some groups left. Generally loud ambience and chatter by people and the workers so if you are looking to get serious work done and get bothered by noise, I wouldn't recommend coming here except in the evening when the noise and crowds dissipate. I got the almond milk honey flat white, served iced, and it was the perfect blend of coffee and an aftertaste hint of honey. I typically don't drink coffee so this was a rare occasion for me, but I liked my drink. Service is really nice here, with many friendly baristas who will likely chat with you as you order. They actually care to spell your name right here, contrary to other Starbucks. In addition, water is free and they don't charge you for the cup! I've been coming to this starbucks a few weeks now especially since they were always making my drink so well. I overall love the service and don't normally leave reviews but I did have an unfortunate experience today. This morning I went in and I ordered a pink drink with no strawberry pieces, the second it was handed to me it was completely separated already I've gotten it before where you can kinda see it start to separate but i just shake it and its fine but today it was completely separate the second I got it and it had strawberries in it even tho the sticker on it said none. I had to leave right that second but I live very close so I came back an hour later with the still full drink because I didn't take a sip since I wanted another so I went back and explained and asked for another I even offered to show/give them the old one but they just made me a new one regardless which I appreciated but when I got the new one it was much better in terms of separation but it still had strawberries in it even tho that sticker also said no strawberries on it. I'm not one to normally send things back or ask for another and I just took the second one anyways but this just kind of upset me and I wish they had paid more attention especially since they didn't seem to be busy (ik they doesn't mean they weren't tho. This review is based on customer service and how they make the drinks. As a Starbucks manager I'm fully aware of the barista standard and how important customer service is for our customers. I only come to this location to get my mother her coffee since she lives near by. And this is the 2nd time I received her drink like this. Nobody orders a $6 for it only to be 2/3 full. Like, how do you actually have the boldness to hand that off to a customer? 1st time I gave them the benefit of the doubt I know stuff happens, the 2nd time I went inside to get a new one and the lady at the front wasn't the slightest apologetic. But It was remade perfectly by another barista. My mom used to rave about the people here & unfortunately I guess all of her favorites have left. So a tip, a CDL does not come with foam, only a 1/4 inch of room for whipped cream. read more

I think Teavana is made by the God's themselves....The customer service is ALWAYS terrible at least when it comes to me, I've been going to this location for 4 years and NEVER have experienced good customer service. Tonight, I had an unusual situation which I discussed with one of your baristas, Katherine. What was really impacting, however, was how Katherine lent her ear so I may talk about a recent loss - our 9-month old kitten, who succumbed to neurological and immune system issues earlier this week. If that wasn't enough, Katherine surprised me with three "Next visit on us" cards to "make sure I don't have to worry about coffee the next few days." That moment of empathy and kindness was something I really needed and, while (I hope) Katherine (likely) remembers me being calm in the drive-thru, I would be a liar to say I wasn't a hot mess when I pulled away. Katherine let me get some of this weight off of my chest for a little bit tonight. Let me tell you, working nights while grieving, at least for me, is hell. Tonight, it will certainly be much more manageable, not just because I have some great Starbucks coffee to enjoy, but - and most importantly - because Katherine helped me deal with the pain and gave me a moment to breathe and to focus on remembering the good times with our lil nugget of a furball. I'm starting this out with the positive. My barista (auburn hair, kinda tall) today was so nice and my blazing hot cappuccino was almost perfect. That being said, this is the first drink from this location that I've been able to actually drink, they are usually absolutely awful. Literally the worst location I've ever been to. Me: hi can I get an iced pumpkin spiced cappuccino with the cold foam (notice how I reference 'iced' at the beginning and 'cold' at the end) Cashier: um a Frappuccino? (Notice how she KNOWS cold is part of this situation I'm requesting) Me: ...no, cappuccino Cashier: *brow furrows, confusion sets in* uhh did you want like the pumpkin spice sauce? Cause we don't have that exactly Me: *blink* *stares at cashier standing in front of the pumpkin spice ads behind her head* You don't have pumpkin spice..? Cashier: oh yeah I mean we have that just not like in a cappuccino. Did you want that? Me. Yep. My name is called, quickly I might add. It's hot. I let her know it was supposed to be iced, she immediately offers to remake it. I decline. She was really nice. Honestly, it was probably for the best since you get twice as much if you order it hot. Went through the drive thru today and placed my order. The girls asked me to repeat my order 4 times, in the end I felt like I was yelling at her :(. The screen where you confirm your order was not working. When I go to the window, the girl asked me for payment. I asked to confirm my order before paying as the screen didn't work ,and she said "yeah it hasn't worked all day", she repeated the order back and it was correct, so I paid. Get back to work, and my drink is missing one of the ingredients, and it was also not on the drink label which is weird as I thought the labels were printed based on the order page, which she read to me correctly. This is not the first time this has happened, sure it won't be the last. But at least she didn't have attitude like one of the girls there that works the drive-thru. read more
