Stopped by Starbucks to use the restroom and get some coffee for the road. I ordered inside. ***The good: - Great location, especially if leaving LA to go up North on I-5. - Drink tasted as expected. - Male staff who took my order was polite and courteous. ***The bad: - Ladies' room was not clean---middle stall: before even using it, I wiped the seat and flushed to get an empty and fresh bowl (there was tp in there) but the flush handle was not working well, so I went to use the stall closest to the sink area. There was pee on the floor in that stall, an overflowed broken trash can, and one feminine product wrapped in a ball was laying on the floor by the sink. Also, no seat cover left in any of those two stalls. Only one sink, and one hand dryer. - I ordered two drinks. One was a refresher (for my companion) and one a hot white chocolate mocha (mine). The refresher only took a few minutes. The hot drink, about 15. Now that I have read several reviews about the place, I know that a long wait time has been an recurring issue. However, at the time I ordered earlier today, I had no idea that the wait time was uncharacteristically long at that Starbucks. After about 7-8 minutes, (when I started to notice that people after me were getting their drinks), I gently checked with one of the baristas who told me that my drink was "coming." He was a male barista who was going back and forth. A female barista was making the drinks for the inside. I waited some more, and when it was almost 15 minutes, (as people who had ordered way after me continued to get their drinks), I checked again just to make sure they had not missed my drink by accident. This time, the male barista asked for my name and drink I had ordered, he looked for the ticket/order or something, talked to the female barista/drink maker who responded something I could not hear, but the guy made my drink right away and gave it to me. No explanation and no apology. A small explanation would have been welcome (ex: the order receipt fell on the floor/got mixed with the old ones by accident/we placed your drink in the drive through area...?).... if not, a "sorry for the wait," at least, would have been good customer service. I don't think I will go back to this place. read more

I like to stop at this Starbucks when I am driving from LA to San Fran or Lake Tahoe or Sacramento or Bakersfield. It's the first Starbucks you come across after you drop down from the mountain passes into the Desert. The hard work keeping your car from flying off the mountain is over. It was going to be a long hot day so I was planning on a Iced Coffee to keep me going. Easy right? I had enough Starbucks points that were expiring soon for a free brewed coffee so that is what I ordered. The woman rings it up--it comes to $3.20 and I scan my phone. She says I don't have enough points? I show her that I have enough for a brewed coffee. She says that $2.20, but when we put ice in it, it rings up to $3.20 and now you don't have enough points! I wasn't going to argue with her--so I just told her that if I am going to pay for the coffee, for $1.50 more let me get my favorite usual: The Ice Cold Nitro Brew. She then responds, "The Nitro machine is broken today." I let out a sigh...Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I think she saw that I was about to cry so she quickly poured the ice coffee for me and handed it to me saying don't worry about it--go! That was very nice of her! Pictured is a remake. That the barista was so bothered to do so. If you order an iced drink and all the syrup is at the bottom of the drink. You're a lazy ass barista. The point of coffee. Espresso drinks in general. Is that the coffee and the syrup be mixed together. I shouldn't have to shake my drink for it to be mixed together. Might as well give me all the ingredients separate if I'm going to make the coffee myself. Also, if you're on register & you know the food is going to take 30 minutes to be warmed up, warn your customers. I wasn't the only customer who was upset about this. I am aware things take time. Stopped by for a quick coffee while making my way to NorCal. Staff was friendly and it wasn't too busy 5:57p on Wednesday. They are next to food shops and a gas station. The restroom was great, no code and many stalls. The coffee shop has indoor and outdoor seating. I order a hot chai late venti, no water and it was good. The outlet is near by and the scenery is beautiful. All you Starbucks lover, don't forget to sign up on the Starbucks app for rewards. It's always a perk. Stopped to get coffee on our way home from LA this morning and was met with unsavory attitudes from employees, long wait times (30+ minutes) and no toilet paper or seat covers in the bathroom, and I mean any and all stalls in the womens. I let one of the employees know about the bathrooms and they told me "I'll try to let my manager know, but it probably won't get done." Basic human needs can't even be met here without attitude. I left without ordering because of the wait and the attitudes. There were like 5+ employees working, no reason for there to be problems like this. I'd give it a zero if I could. This location has to be one of the worst locations. The staff there all have attitude. I had an order of two items. One drink and a slice of pumpkin loaf. Took them 30 minutes to get my drink out. Then 10 minutes after I get my loaf of bread, which wasn't warmed up and served in a plastic bag only to be stuffed into a paper bag. Other customers were getting fed up. One person kindly asked the barista if their drink order would be up soon. They'd been inside waiting for their drink longer then me, only to be met with attitude from on barista with fried straw looking blonde hair. She told him to walk away from the bar and wait his turn.If I had her name, I'd add it here for management to see so they can pull her aside and discuss the way she interacts with customers. Even though it was around noon when I walked into this Starbucks, there was no one in line and hardly anyone sitting inside. I did notice a few cars in the drive thru though. I ordered a venti Caramel Frappuccino for my dad. The order was fulfilled about a minute or so after I ordered, so the service was very quick. I had a few sips of the frappuccino and I have to say that it did taste a bit different from the caramel frappuccinos that I am used to having, and not in a good way. It didn't have a strong flavor but the flavor it did have tasted almost like burnt caramel. I was pleasantly surprised when the barista called out my name and said it correctly! Most people just stare at my name and then decide to call out the order instead. read more

Former bay area partner here. Went in for a quick drink on my way back to Sacramento and they made my kinda difficult drink absolutely amazing! Probably the best version i've had yet! The barista girl with the curly-ish hair training on front register is doing a great job and the barista girl on bar added a little more VSC cold foam than it usually comes with (without me having to ask) which was icing on the cake since I can't get enough of that foam. All good with me. I can count on starbucks and In n out to have the cleanest restrooms on highway 5, and isn't that what "road trip " is all about? The restroom did have those air and germ blowers so I have to get in the habit of keeping some paper towels or napkins in my purse. Coffee consistent from store to store, my double espresso was delivered in a timely manner bu a hard working server. Road trip...lots of thinking time. I realized my food and drink servers were most likely using those germ spreading air dryers so I took off one star. read more

The staff was really friendly and even joked a little with my little one about the unicorn cake pop that I thought was a cat. Our drink came out with light ice just like I ordered--for once. The Pink Drink was on the sweet side, but nothing a little melted ice wouldn't fix. Everything was pleasant until we got to the restroom. I was just yelled at by Darren and the entire baristas over my drink I was asking where one of my drinks for my order was since everyone inside establishment had left and my drink was no where to be found. I ordered at 1:20pm and didn't get my drink until 1:50 pm one drink out of 3 in an order. They said I had to wait since I just ordered it and just yelling out rude comments , if you don't want to work on thanksgiving day then don't but don't treat people miserably because you're miserable at your job. We're taking a long road trip and I decided I wanted a trenta refresher drink for the road. The drive thru line was long and I needed to stretch so I went inside. There was only one other person waiting in line, but no one taking drink orders, so while waiting in line I make a mobile order for my drink which said it would take five minutes for my drink. No big deal, I get out of the line where no one still has taken any orders and begin to wait. 1:45, my drink hasn't appeared in the little mobile pick up box. 1:46, I walk up and wait to try to make eye contact with the person nearest to the station. 1:47, I ask for my drink, and the person looks over to the mobile ticket area grabs it and begins making my drink that was due two minutes ago. I get my drink at 1:50. It was busy in the store, but it appears the drive thru is the priority for drinks and if you do a mobile order you may have to ask them to make your drink. And since it's California, you also have to ask for a straw which takes more time and a hand for people who are already busy. read more
