DO NOT GO HERE!!! as a business owner and nail tech myself, absolutely disgusted. This woman GLUED HERSELF TO ME!!!! WAY over charged.. 55$ for a fill with NO POLISH! the woman was extremely aggressive. ALL of my nails were crooked (I had to fix them myself) and are burned. waste of money. have to have them redone anyway, and they're extremely sore. read more

Even though it was a night that we were getting a snow storm...star nails was still open ..waiting for me, to make.my nails look beautiful in any weather. It was my first time getting an SNS manicure and coming to this salon so.i was a little nervous. The owner was super sweet....talkative and spoke great English. He kept conversation alive so there wasn't that awkward silence lol. He also informed me all about SNS and even suggested my nail color...which I love!! It is a family run business for 17 years and solely runs on word of mouth...well I will definitely be going back for another SNS color in a few weeks! Check them out! read more

First time being here and I was so happy with everything. From the customer service to the actual service itself. No, this isn't a luxury spa where you'll hear crashing waves in the background and have people bringing you champagne while you wait. This is your standard, no frills, affordable nail salon. I was greeted by what I assume were the owners of the shop. They got me in immediately in spite of 3 of their regulars being there. All of the tools were clean and in good shape. I felt comfortable the entire time and it was the owner, not myself, who was generating conversation. I noticed how all of the regular clientele and owners knew even the smallest details about each other. It felt like they were visiting old friends instead of trying to get in and out as fast as possible. It's clear these owners care about the people that come in and out of their shop. This turns into a positive experience for both the owner and customer. My pedicure was perfect and came out great! Highly recommend! read more

My natural nails break a lot being a bartender and server and I don't Like nail polish so I asked them to do acrylics that look as natural as possible and they did an amazing job. 10/10 would recommend this business. read more

Beautiful facility, poor service I went to this nail salon for the first time because it was newer & definitely looked clean from the outside. While I give 5 stars for cleanliness, my overall service is far less than that. I told my manicurist early in my my appointment that I needed to be out at a certain time. My pedicure was above average but I was questioning why she wasn't taking off my gel nail polish during my pedicure knowing I was under a time constraint - which was 2 hours btw, typically WAY more than enough time for mani & pedi. My manicure did not go so well. She did not listen to how I wanted to shape my nails. They were all in good form with a square shape, only needing 2 nails to be cut down & shaped. She proceeded to shape those 2 into rounded forms making them look completely different than the others. I asked to reshape from what she was doing but since she was already well into the process, these nails are much different than the others. Then she went onto actually painting my nails. My end result is jagged edge paint lines, bubbles on my nails, uneven paint and the driest cuticles I have ever had AFTER a manicure. For the meticulous time she took on my nails, you would think they would be in perfect condition. Perhaps some of this may be attributed to her obnoxiously loud colleague who came in at the start of my manicure who stood over her station talking only with her for the majority of my time there. When I voiced my concern that the nail polish was extremely uneven, she put on a 3rd coat which I really didn't want, but I believe the initial coat she put on was so uneven that that is the true cause of the issue. When the manicure continued on way past the hour mark, which sounds amazing but when you share you need to be out by a certain time ....finally I stated I needed to go. When I cashed out with the man up front, he questioned, "oh the service went too long?". I replied yes that I needed to go but the bigger issue was that despite 3 coats of gel polish, you could still "see through". It was cloudy throughout my nails. He replied that it was because I chose I pale nail color. For the record, its a vibrant pink I've gotten at many other salons that I have never had this issue with. Maybe their polished are old?? Dry?? Simply unconcerned with what I voiced, took my money, offering no solutions. Now hours after my services there, my hands & feet are so dry! I have no idea what products they use but my my hands and feet have NEVER been so dry after a mani/pedi. I keep having to cut little parts of my cuticles off from what she left. Honestly I would have left 1 star but the overall cleanliness of this salon is great. So if cleanliness is at the top of your list, go for it! If you desire a great manicure & experience, I would definitely pass. read more

I would really give him zero stars for the manner in which he handled this problem. He did a terrible nail job, did nothing of what I asked and did very imprecise manicuring work on a shape and length that I did not want. The man did what he wanted. When I asked him to correct this, instead of admitting to the mistake, he became defensive and angry, justifying himself by saying he spent 2 hours on my nails (when he spent 1 hour). He never addressed the wrong shape or bad manicuring. My nails were all different lengths, shapes, crooked, rounded pointed, some looked like they were taking a left or right turn. and they were thick and hook-like. I came in with beautiful nails that needed a fill, and took his suggestion of getting a new set. He refused to put on a new set and make things right. He tried to file them but could not make them long ( for which I paid $10 extra) or correctly shaped. I asked for my money back and he said, "I need to take back my product". which meant cutting these horrible nails straight off making them sharp, rough, and super unsightly. Because I needed my money, I allowed him to treat me with such disrespect and disgrace. That day I lost my time, my beautiful nails, endured physical pain from the removal of my old nails having them snapped and cracked off.. no soaking, and my peace of mind having been traumatized by this experience. I also lost the timely opportunity for new nails because this man cut my real nails to do his horrible work. This man , the owner, has no personal or professional integrity,only concerned about the money,. It was not so much the mistake he made, it was how he handled it, so uncaring and selfishly. He wanted to "win" his position at all costs. He said that he wanted to please his customers, but what a FAKE. No wonder he is in the FAKE nail business. Problems are a eventuality...it's how you deal with them that counts. read more

Terrible! I would get my nails done and a very high-end place that used Gel acrylic. I wanted to get the same thing done when I went here but they're a very adamant that the powder that they use would be just as good. It wasn't! One nail broke within a week. Another a couple days after that. Not only that, after he had started my nails he said "you have time right" I asked him what he meant by this and he said "Well, you're a walk in and my appointment is here so you'll just have to wait why work on them and then I'll come back to finish your nails". I did not have time to sit there and wait. Had he told me this prior to being halfway through my nails I would've gone elsewhere. It was extremely convenient that he only chose to tell me this when I was to a point that I couldn't leave. Mind you his appointment had already been sitting there about two minutes into him starting my nails, yet he didn't say anything then. I was extremely dissatisfied. The customer service is nonexistent. They didn't seem interested at all and having a new customer and I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere, somewhere that would appreciate your money. I will not be going back! read more
