This nail salon is very classy and clean. The staff are very nice and professional, when I walk in they accommodate me right away, I'm always pleased with how my nails look and the nail polish stays in place for awhile. I have really tired to like this place as it has been hard to find a quality nail salon but after this last trip, I will not be returning. 3 fingers were cut, they wanted me to leave after my fill and come back to get my pedicure although my appointment was for both a uv gel fill in and pedicure, Never really busy but seem overwhelmed every time I went. I was recommended this place and I decide to give it a try, I liked the idea that walk-in we're Welcome. I asked for a French gel manicured the guy in the front desk didn't understand and to speed up the process he decide to soak my nails I already told him that these were my natural nails but he was treating them like acrylic or gel nails,so I told him once again and he finally walk away, they were short of staff and they have untrained non licensed staff, this girl that made my nails was inexperience,never again first and last time, sloppy and very expensive I paid $45.00 with tip, I tipped the girl bcuz I felt bad that she was working sick with a cold. I've been going since they have open. Amy is the owner and she does a fantastic job. I come visit family from New York and I'll go out of my way to go there. Very nice, very clean, and my nails always look fantastic. I noticed one very bad review which also sounds a bit racist. I can say for a very particular and often short tempered person who does not often get business is second chances, I've never had anything but a stellar experience and I've been there at least 20 times. read more

I've been there twice and the work is always sloppy. The first time I went to have have gel extensions and it was very thick and cured lumpy underneath. The second time I went was an attempt to remove the nail job from the first visit and it was a rush job. They accept walk-ins but if someone who has an appointment comes in then your nails will be rushed and sloppy. I haven't been back since, wouldn't recommend. Shame considering the staff is friendly. read more

Star Nails is doing a great job to keep its clients and employees safe during this pandemic. The staff keeps social distancing between clients, limits the number of clients at a time by only taking appointments, takes temperatures upon walk in and records this information, in addition to having plastic barriers between reception and technicians during services. I have been a client here for a number of years and really appreicate that Amy and her staff are doing a wonderful job putting health and safety first. Overall, the services available are reasonably priced and they offer wonderful options in regards to different types of pedicures and color choices for polishs. Bad customer service. Walked in to get a Manipadi and they said no, even when there was no other customer in the store.

Their regular manicure lasted over a week before chipping. However, their gel manicures last about a week before chipping a ton. For the amount I paid here, I expect it to last 2 weeks or more. I think the issue lies in not letting the gel sit under the UV for longer than 5-10 seconds at a time. The service was great, but the gel nails just don't last nearly as long as they should for the cost. read more

I really enjoy going to Star Nails, its clean the entire staff is friendly and they have hours on Sunday which is how I learned about them. Their prices are comparable to other salons that I've been to. I find them to be very accommodating whenever possible. They have several types of services such as waxing. HORRIBLE. First off I waited 25 minutes just to get a color change. Me and my sister got the same exact color and mine look disgusting. When I was done I got up to the register and the owner Amy, says "$30.00" and I'm standing there confused because why would It be 30 for a color change? So I asked her why am I being charged $30 and she said because she put my hand in a machine. In those exact words. Does that make ANY sense? Anywhere you go to get a color change I'm sorry but you have to dry your hands and it does not cost $30 to do that. If I'm gonna pay $30 to get a color change my nails better look like Cardi B's. Never going to this place again total rip off. read more
