He had finished up and said sit here for 10 minutes to dry. I jokingly said, ok, and then your gonna kick me out and laughed. He got very serious and said no not going to kick you out. I said I'm joking as he turned to go in the back. He had always said bye but didnt that time. The next time I came in, not only did he not provide the pedi he didnt speak to or look at me which was a first. I went 1 more time thinking it was just a fluke. Nope. The customer service was very nice! It was a okay pedicure. My manicure only lasted a week until they chipped! It wasn't inexpensive to only last week for acrylic nails with gel polish on top that is manicure pictured which I provided below. Very disappointing. It was expensive for $100 dollar bill when you get chipped nails. Also I saw my bill afterwards they added another 2 dollars added to my total after looking at my bank statement. I put 8 dollars as a tip so would be an even 100 but they added another 2 to make it 102. Just awkward situation when you want a relaxing and reliable service. So watch your bill when you get it cause it could be slightly off then what you agree too. Won't be going back.. would not recommend. read more

We were welcomed by everyone right when we walked in the door. We did not have an appointment and there was no wait. Very friendly, clean and open space. We did not feel rushed at all during the visit. The massage chairs were comfortable and water was perfect temperature. I decided to stop by this salon while running errands to get my gel polish removed and was pleased that they were able to see me right away. The technician sat down and pulled out a nail file so tattered that it had bare spots and veining where the cardboard was exposed. I should have left right then, but I didn't. They began filing my first nail so rapidly that they went through the gel polish to the nail without realizing it. Feeling pain, I pulled away. They saw what they did and apologized. They then tried to grab the edge of the gel polish on my second nail with their cuticle clipper and pull it off without filing or soaking. That was the last straw. I was done. I said, "thank you, but I've changed my mind" and I left. I will never return and don't recommend others go here either. read more

Came here because it's close by to my house and still looking for a good nail place. I got a fill and gel I also got a simple design. This is the first time my gel polish has been peeling off before a week. My design peeled off after the first day I had to come get it fixed when I came in I noticed one lady was getting a hand massage which wasn't offered to me when I got my manicure. When I got my fill I wanted my nails cut down a little which they did but they didn't do a good job in reshaping my nails. Some look wider than others very uneven. They were friendly and the shop was clean and nicely designed. I don't think I'll be back I'm very disappointed that I'll be having to go get my nails redone in such a short time from the last. read more

Hannah did my nails so beautifully, she was so sweet and made my experience wonderful. As I was paying I asked for change for $100 so I could give a cash tip. She brought me back $90 already assuming I was going to give a $10 tip which confused the count for me. (I ended up tipping $15) As I was confused she became extremely rude giving me so much attitude. I got a pedicure here last week (with Lisa, who was great), and then today came back to get matching acrylics for a trip to Vegas. Linda did them and I'm obsessed! We called in last minute and was seen within 20 minutes! The shop is in a great location and looked better than most the shops I've been in with reasonable prices. Nan was wonderful and struck up a conversation right away with my family. We were there because it's my father's birthday and as a treat he wanted a pedicure. my father says he feels brand new. Nice friendly family owned nail and spa salon. All of the staff are friendly and do not seem to rush through with your nails at all. I ended up going with a deluxe spa pedicure which included a mineral foot masque with the warm towel wrap as opposed to the regular spa pedicure. I also went with getting a design as well since I saw in the front they had some decent display designs. This is not the fanciest most high tech nail salon, but if you are looking for a place to relax and not be rushed, this is the place to go. You don't see the staff gossiping about customers like other nail salons, and they actually try to engage in conversation with you and get to know you. read more

The ladies were very friendly and my standard white tip set was $31 however I have to give a lower rating because it has only been 5 days since I got them done and already the bottoms are coming up and when I got them done a few were longer then others and also my nails I had previously you can see marks from since they weren't buffed off enough. bsolutely love this place, the customer service is remarkable. They are so friendly and welcoming. Beyond that even, they really care about making sure you are satisfied. Very detailed and they take their time to make sure it's perfect. I didn't feel rushed out of there and they immediately got me into a chair when i walked in for my appt. Most places you have to wait so long even after making an appt but they are on the ball. Not to mention the color nail polish/gel selection is very good, such pretty colors. The good: The employers were very friendly and seemed to know most people by name. The salon appears to be clean. They did a manicure and pedicure at the same time, which was convenient. The bad: They had me sit in the chair for 15 minutes before starting the pedicure. I wish I hadn't saw it but after completing my manicure the employee put the tools on a stand next to me (cuticle trimmers, file and buffer) and let them sit there. A lady came in and asked for a manicure, so the employee walked over to the tools she used on me and took them directly over to the desk and began using them on the other lady. The staff are masked and enforce sanitizing practices as people come in. The pedicure station tub was lined and all products used came from a sealed, sanitized package. I love coming here! They are so attentive and do excellent work. When I first moved to the area I would go to another near by shop. But I felt rushed and often times the gel would peel after only a few days. I stumbled onto Star Nails one day and haven't strayed since. They do not rush at all, which in turn leaves you with a relaxed experience and a quality service. Often times they have done my manicure and pedicure and the same time - always makes me feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Third times the charm! We spent an hour looking for a nail salon that would get us in right away. My daughter even called a salon and asked if there was a wait, we were told no wait, get you in right away. Arrived 5 minutes later and told it would be 20 - 30 wait. Lisa appears to be the only one who really knows how to paint nails. Hannah was good, but slow and the male was fast and sloppy! The staff barely speaks English which became a problem. I thought I'd give Star a try based on the reviews....Pedicure was great.........manicure, not so much. Full set acrylics, was supposed to be ombre pink and white.........ended up having to put a glitter coat to cover the very poor ombre effect. The acrylic was messy, clumps left under my nail and on the side of the nail on my skin. Two days later I went back to my regular place and had them redone. Expensive mistake. read more
