The owner pushes the more expensive products. I just wanted a basic polish manicure, she said it would take too long. Finally I was able to convince the tech to just do basic polish. The price on the wall is 30$ for a manicure, but I was charged 40. When asking the person ringing it up she responded with "I am the owner I know what the price is" I didn't get lotion, a hand massage or anything extra. The tech just put polish on my nails and called it a day. I have had a good pedicure here, but the environment of the place is not worth another trip. Some of the techs do a great job, but it seems like the owner rushes everyone through to make profit in the fastest amount of time. read more

I called on the phone to see if they were busy , they said they were. I'm sitting here at the moment because they are busy.. waiting exactly 9 minutes. Had my 5 month old with me , they were interacting with him and making him giggle , that's what the 2 stars are for. thank you for entertaining my grumpy boy. he was fine the whole time. just at the end he started humming then fell asleep lol. but i think the nail lady's and men thought that meant to rush. I got hurt with the drill 3x , the guy doing my nails was rushing right when i sat in his chair. didn't like that. I wasn't offered a water til the end. the nails aren't $80 nails ($10 tip) they did nothing for my cuticles. won't be going back. going back to delight nails by mall. love them. I mean if you want a simple polish go here. but t these nails aren't a 5/10 for me. and that's only because the cat eye is beautiful! read more

I went in to get my nails done and I had asked the guy to do them a little shorter and he clipped them basically to bed. They didn't do the color I wanted either and I was left with an ugly purple color that I didn't want. They didn't talk to me to tell me that they didn't have the color I wanted and instead filled it in with a color I didn't like and when I told them they didn't care and kept doing it. The manicure was good. No massage, not even a tiny bit was offered, even though it was stated included in the basic.

I came to Lacey Nails as a walk in for something I haven't tried before, dip powder manicure. The prices are clearly listed when you first walk in and the place is very clean. There are multiple mail techs and stations working quietly. Ryan was my mail tech and he was very attentive and did a great job on my nails! I expressed that I didn't want a cuticle trim due to a bad experience at a different salon. I did let him try it with the electric file. My cuticles were trimmed without any blood and mess! I also appreciate that he checked with me to see if the color came out to my liking and was not stingy with the layers. Most nails salons skimp on an extra layer, but not here! Overall I was pleased with my experience here. I will come back for more services down the line! read more

I visited this place because a friend gave me their card and said that we would get a discount if we showed the card. I requested a discount but no discount was granted. I paid for a pedicure, but I didn't get one. I got my feet washed in cold water, my very superficial calluses were left untouched. I did not get water and I had to remind the person to give me the massage that is part of the pedicure. She barely did. I told the manager, and she said that they would take care of the calluses. She wasn't nice. After dealing with their poor attitude towards me, I wasn't going to trust them with my feet anymore. I just wanted to go home and wash my feet. The place is not sanitary. I'll let the pictures let you make judgment, upon walking in it was very busy so I didn't figure I would get in last minute for a full acrylic. They did however fit me in within 10 minutes on a Wednesday at 5:00pm. They offered a cute bottle of water. Have little ac fans at the stations. It's fast... my full set and paint was 32 minutes. I was only asked on one mail if I liked the shape which was perfect but the rest were uneven not smooth and it was painful. I just wanted to leave. The lady who did my polish did a great job at color matching what I was looking for. The shape I wanted was short almond but I ended up with what's in the picture. $70 after a tip which I'll never not tip. It's was just rushed and confusing. Recommend 100% on the polish, 50% on the acrylic. read more

I've been on a mission to treat myself by getting my nails done more often and was told I needed to come here. This place is efficient. I'm not sure how long a simple paint removal and having your nails repainted should take but I was in and out in about 20ish minutes the day before NYE. Another fave thing about this nail salon is the chairs. I have wide hips so any salon I go to the arms of the chairs tend to dig into the side of my thighs, nothing about that makes it comfy and I typically want to not bother coming back. This salon has rolling desk chairs that are very comfy. Can't wait to come back. read more

Not sure what to think. Been going here for almost a year. Always get a dip manicure. Always has been $45. Last month it was $50, this month it's $60. It's the same manicure: one color, no designs, and trimmed down.. There needs to be clear communication on how much the cost will be. They have prices on the wall. But, it isn't consistent with what is being charged. It seems like it varies on whomever does your nails. I will give them one more chance and ask the price up front. So I went for a pedicure yesterday ( like I do once a month) and this had to be the worst experience I've had in the more than 20 years I've been getting this service done. Pedicure started off fine. Lady comes and speaks PERFECT English to me. The lady then proceeded to ask what type of pedicure I wanted and nail color. She started on my pedicure and started to question why acrylic was on my big toe. I explained due to an incident prior and it was placed for a repair. She then started to cut my nails down. She started filing and I had to stop her multiple times because she was not hitting the nail, just skin. She then continued to make comments about my nails while I was sitting between two other customers. I tried to change subjects and let her know I am aware. She still insisted I buy a product from their establishment. I declined. After that, she did the absolute BARE MINIMUM. She didn't clean under the nail beds. She didn't do the massage correctly and my nail polish placement is absolutely trash! I left feeling so horrible and didn't do anything else. I have pretty bad anxiety and broke down in the car. My mom and sister went up there to speak with the owner (who we all know due to us being long time customers) and she used the excuse that her people don't speak good English. And instead of correcting it, she kept offering a refund. We didn't want money, we wanted her employees to have proper training. She then said that we could no longer come back to her nail salon and to "find some place better". She was rude and did t want to take accountability for her employee messing up. But their loss! We have brought so many to their business and we will be sure to make sure they NEVER go back! They don't care about how they make you feel. They just want your money. read more

I came in to get a pedicure. I walked in at about 5:55 (not knowing they closed at 6). I asked if I could get a pedicure and they said yes. I am assuming because there were plenty of other people still getting services. I sat in the chair at 6:02 and they started painting my toes at 6:08. My pedicure was 6 minutes long. The color is fine and the paint job is fine (those things are not my issue). I just can't believe I spent $32 on 6 minutes. Had I known it was going to be rushed, I would have gone somewhere else. Ps- there were people still getting worked on when I left. My good friend goes to a place in tumwater that also charges $30 and the total time is 1 hour. They spend an hour on their clients pedicure. I probably will only go there in the future. No wonder they're so booked out. I won't be returning to Lacey nails again. read more

This was my first visit to this salon and being that it somewhat of a last minute decision, I had no idea what to really expect. Unable to do any poking around online to check out reviews or anything, I just hoped for the best upon walking in to a very crowded, loud and pretty chaotic environment. Well kept clean for how much was going on. Neat and organized from what I recall. Despite the entire staff clearly having their hands full, I didn't have to wait for more than 5 minutes to get started which was great. I had a picture of what I wanted in mind and the technician knocked it out of the park in regards to giving me exactly what I wanted. She also occasionally asked me if I wanted certain details a certain way which has never happened before and was greatly appreciated. I left with what I wanted in a shorter amount of time than expected. Cost was pretty standard. I didn't mind paying and giving a fair tip on top of it due to how happy I was with the result. I have been coming to Lacey Nails for years, I've tried other nail salons in between but always end up coming back here. Lacey Nails is very popular so it can be extremely busy, so don't expect to get a fill and pedicure in under an hour...plan on taking your time and enjoying the experience. The staff is very friendly and tries their best to give you what you asked for. They have a huge salon with lots of nail stations, pedicure chairs, and waxing. They have an entire wall of color options for gel polish, powder dips, foil, unicorn/holographic powder. My daughter has asked for coffin shape a few times and it doesn't turn out right because she gets her nails short, so this might not be your salon if coffin shape is your thing. They are open Sunday's, they get very busy on weekends so plan accordingly, consider coming back if they're full or it's more than a 15 minute wait time, the nails are a little thicker at Lacey Nails (mine last longer and don't break) if you want thinner nails just ask, get to know some of the staff and which ones are best at the specific things you like (shape, design, etc), if things aren't what you want speak up, ask if the extras you asked for are going to increase the price and don't assume it is a freebie. read more

I've been here on two occasions. Both of my times were extremely pleasant! My first time coming was for a fill with gel polish, design and a nail fix. Le was the one who did my nails during this visit and he did an amazing job. My shape was nice. He pays close attention to detail. At the end Sue, who is the owner did my marble design I asked for and made sure my free edge of the nail didn't have extra gel polish to make it look lumpy or rounded since I have coffin shaped nails. The second time I came with my co worker for a pedicure with gel and a full with gel and design. This time Sue did my full and design and Katie did my pedicure. Once again both of them were great. I was telling Katie that I was nervous about a pedicure since I'd had a terrible pedicure when I was living in California and pregnant. She reassured me that wouldn't happen here and if there was any sight of an ingrown toe, she'd take care of it properly. I will say this salon is busy all day. And I literally mean all day so be prepared to wait. I've come at 10 am the first visit and even then I waited so come in, be patient. They will def get to you as soon as someone is available. They all do amazing work and the skill level in designs is on point. You can bring in a picture you find on Pinterest and will do it. All the stations and pedicure thrones are clean and the salon is beautiful. They have a plethora of colors and offer the dip powders as well if that's your thing.
