Today, I took my daughter to get a pedicure! After a wait, she was seated and she told the young lady what service she would like and that she is a diabetic and because some of her toes are dark please use white polish. The lady said ok. As she proceeded, the lady began to give my daughter advice on how to care for her feet.. My daughter now being embarrassed, told the lady that she is aware of all the care and proceeded with this is a medical condition. The young lady began speaking to the man next to her about my daughter's condition. As she continued in conversation she also did not give my daughter complete pedicure. Not properly touching her feet or massaging as usual. The list continues and the embarrassment continued. Now the ladies on both sides are looking at her. After her polish I noticed that she left quickly. Her anxiety was terrible. I asked to speak to the owner and upon explaining the situation she said her workers don't understand English and they don't know peoples conditions. Exactly they don't therefore they or she should do the job she is paid to do. The owner went on to say agin that her workers do not speak good English. I said the young lady speaks very good English. All I would like is for you to have a conversation with her and explain that it is better that she not comment on what may appear to be going on with people while doing a service. She stated I'm sorry, I'll give you your money back.. I said No, I just want you to speak to her. She said " I'll put up a sign on door". What? For what? Then she said I don't want your business go to someone who do better than us.. Don't come back here we dont do conditions. Well for all those who may not have the perfect feet and/or have a disability like my daughter please do not go to Lacey nails. This experience was horrible. I'm so unhappy with Lacey nails. Every time I go it seems like I end up with the old guy. He's horrible and hurts me. When the young girl that does designs so well and she is very gentle, but they start me off with that damn older guy I don't understand why multiple techs work on one customer. My nail design was fantastic! I was super happy with how the design turned out. I love that they have so many options and colors. The girl doing my fill accidentally sanded my finger but I'll live. She was very apologetic and was very careful as she finished. There was no massage (thus the 4 stars). This is one of the things I love most about manicures. After today i will never go here again! It is a nail mill where the owner pretty much lets anyone work here to get experience. Only about a third of the staff really knows what they are doing. My daughter wanted a simple nail design, actually just ombre color and the nail tech painted her nails nude with no ombre. He burned her while drilling and shaped them terribly. He never once asked her if they looked ok. Once they were done my daughter (teenager) was so upset she went to the car while they were finishing my toes. To top it all off they charged me full freakin price for her nails! I was so pissed. They lost a regular customer today. I want my money back for the horrific full set they attempted. read more

The technician messed up on both big toes, had to redo them and didn't say anything other than show her frustration over it. I get it - mistakes happen and she gave a very good massage. I also had a gel manicure and walked away with zero massage (does that come with the gel manicure? Pretty sure it does) and polish on my hands. There was zero customer interaction. I went in for a mani/pedi. I requested the deluxe pedicure. The whole pedicure lasted maybe 20 min including polish. The bottoms of my feet we're hardly scrubbed (less than 30 seconds for both feet). They now use soap instead of cuticle softener. The wax dip was still runny when the technician decided it was time to finish up and take them out. Manicure was equally as bad. No lotion on my hands or forearms. I paid $30 pedi and $25 mani, tipped 20%, then was told I owed them another $10. Sue had really let her shop to to pot. They have gotten Covid lazy with Covid pricing. Pay more get less. Will never go back in here again. Her workers are rude and condescending. read more

This salon used to be great. I stopped getting my nails done for awhile. I went to a different salon and tried the dip powder and really liked it, so I decided to come back to Lacey Nails to continue this. I got a gel pedicure, which I was happy with. It was pricey, but I'm willing to pay for quality. The first time I got dip powder, the owner did it. She was great, gave me some valuable knowledge, helped me find the color I wanted and got me in and out fairly quick. The second time, the girl was nice, but the process was flawed. I left unhappy, with a color that I didn't choose, and too embarrassed to say anything. The next day, a chunk of the dip broke off of my nail. I went back to get it fixed. They were very confused as to why I was unhappy. They decided to go ahead and redo my nails. They left my fingers soaking in acetone for over 45 minutes, causing them to be extremely dry. They scraped off the dip and got it all over my fingers. They had the same girl do my dip as 2 days early, who continually apologized, however she is not trained properly, so I once again left unhappy. I had the previous color stuck all over my hands, and again, one day later, my nail broke. Within 9 days, all of my nails were broken and my $43 dip job was again gone. I will not be returning to Lacey nails. Instead of a peaceful treat to myself, I feel like a burden at a sweatshop and I work too hard for my dollars to spend them in such an environment. Don't bother calling ahead for an appointment. I called three days in advance for a time and I thought it was odd that the woman over the phone didn't ask for my name. I gave it to her anyways and when I arrived this morning I let them know I had an appointment for a fill at 10. They had me wait an HOUR before they had a seat for me. A woman who came in fifteen mins after me got up and left after they seated us at a table with no tech. I asked the owner if they had a book for appointments. She proceeded to tell me that anytime someone calls for an appointment, she informs them they will still wait. And those who don't like it, they should just go somewhere else. She said this in front of a table of women who all looked perplexed. AN HOUR is excessive and the attitude of the ownership is why I will no longer be visiting this nail salon. This is the first mani/pedi I've had since pre-Covid. There were 1 million people in the salon, but they were able to take me. I got the Deluxe pedicure but I don't know what the perks were. She massaged my legs for like 2 minutes, then she moved me over for my manicure and proceeded to kick my freshly painted toes 3 TIMES! And when I tried to tell her she'd need to fix them the language barrier was an issue. After my nail guy was done shaping and filing my acrylics.The lady starts doing my red french tip. i advocated that i wanted a gold french nail to the other man. and she didn't know that. so im telling her oh that nails was supposed to be gold. she's clearly irritated. and then she wasn't doing it french so i politely told her it was supposed to be french as well. she starts hugging a puffing. as she's cleaning up the mail she starts digging her nail into me slowly sending more and more pressure to the point where it cut me and made me bleed. Eyebrows/eyelashes I don't recommend over charges for simple touch up and put wrong type of lashes in when I wanted individuals and didn't have a fan for glue to dry before opening eyes up / eye brows wise took more off one side . The owner came over to her nail tech and had her remove my moms new polish 3 times, my mom was happy with the color and job the tech was doing and told the owner she was doing fine and told the tech the owner seemed grumpy. The owner put her finger in my moms face and told her you can leave! My mom was so disrespected and obviously they don't care about customer service. And like I said, it was a few years back. But on my first visit, the acrylic was a little thick. I didn't complain and I even left a $5 tip. Getting in the long line with the rest of the people to add my one star review! Needed a polish change on short notice. This salon was open on a Sunday and near the other errand I needed to run. Just needed a regular old school polish change-no gel-nothing fancy. I even brought my own polish. The female technician was rude. Not a drop of water or nail clipper was used. I asked for my nails to be filed. She literally used the file for one swipe right and one swipe left per nail, that's it. Didn't even polish all of my nails. Pointed it out to her and she visibly became bothered and began telling the male technician next to her all about it. I'm told she's done so I go to the front desk to pay. A very young male worker tells me the total is $20. What?!?! Told him I brought my own polish and how nearly zero of their supplies were used. He said they don't charge for polish. I promised him an honest and negative review would be posted and that I will tell everyone I know not to patronize this establishment for anything. I'm a person of my word so here it is. read more
