I needed an impromptu gel manicure I do not live here in Oly so I couldn't get to my girl back home. I asked for a gel manicure and it wasn't the best to be truthful. There were fuzzies cured into the polish and bubbles. The polish I chose did not indicate it would not be opaque enough to cover my natural nail underneath. The service was very quick resulting in uneven nails. I probably will never come back since I don't live here. But I did come with people getting acrylic sets and they looked very good. read more

If I could select no stars I would...I went here in June before vacation for a gel manicure and pedicure. They decided to do both at the same time. The gal doing my manicure took a chunk out of my cuticle and said "oops new cuticle cutters, sorry". It bled so much and it hurt and bled while on vacation which is really inconvenient. I went again yesterday to try again before another trip (my mistake), this time I only got a pedicure because I didn't want them to screw up my cuticles. The gal was exfoliating my heel and took a chunk out of my heel and it bled quite a bit. She got me a bandaid, but this was the last time I will be going to any T Spa. Overall, I'm happy with my nails, but I personally wouldn't come back here. It was about $175 after tip for a gel pedicure and full acrylic set, which isn't particularly expensive but isn't cheap either. I had looked at their Facebook page where they advertised very complicated nail designs with full portraits and illustrations (screenshot below). I came in asking for a water lily on my nail, but they said it was too complicated. I asked if they could do a simple daisy (photo below) and the other photo is what I got instead. It felt really rushed and the flowers are off center and different sizes, some with bubbles in them. When doing the acrylic set itself, they were rough with my hands and made several of my cuticles bleed. I've also never had a manicure in my life where they didn't give you any kind of lotion or moisture, until now. I still think my nails are cute but they're very different from what I asked for, and the overall experience of being rushed by them and what seemed little care, I would not come back here. You can find a million places for the same or cheaper price that can put colored dots on a nail. read more

It looks terrible, there is nail polish all over her fingers surrounding her nails, and as for design... her request was fairly simple. Blood splatter for Halloween. Nothing super fancy. Not worth the price. Decent work at best. Went there once on a slow day and received decent service but sloppy work. Decided to give them a second chance and was absolutely disappointed. They accept any and every customer that walks through the door regardless of how busy they already are, leading them to rush through clients. I paid the same exact price for a fresh full acrylic set as I did for a fill. Upon closer inspection once I arrived home I noticed how uneven my nail lengths were. Some even crooked. Writing this on my first visit because I am visiting and likely won't have another shot at coming here. Actually writing this AS she is doing my pedicure. We walked in and they helped us immediately. My Mom needed a fill BAD and I hadn't had a pedi since before my baby was born 8 months ago. My poor girl was so sweet and did such a thorough and awesome job on my heels (yikes.) and my cuticles (eep!)... I chose the $31 pedi because I love essential oils and she said the magic word... "lavender." Sold. Good sell... so she soaked my feet, did scrub on my legs, a paraffin dip on my feet, a hot rock massage on my calves/shins, and a great pedicure. I was not in a hurry, so I love that there was absolutely no rush. She took her time, made conversation, offered me a beverage, and gave my feet and legs time to rest and dry before he began applying color. My Mom was very happy with her fill, not a single complaint - and that is saying something! She's a total whiner. Haha. I never get my nails done but I really wanted to get some Halloween themed acrylics this year so I decided to splurge on some candy corn nails. My coworker actually recommended this place. I was sat down with Kevin who did the shaping. He did a really great job, although it took longer than I expected and he was pretty quiet but still very nice. I then had another lady come do the paint job who I never got the name of (but would love to know) and she was super fun to talk to and absolutely kicked ass on my nails I was SO HAPPY. I have always had bad luck when getting acrylics done with them being too thick, misshapen, and just overall ugly but these made me soooo happy. Also, not bad at all price-wise! This set was $75! I've been coming to this location for at least 8 years now. Usually things go really well here. Today unfortunately I'm disappointed. I came with my 6 year old granddaughter. I had scheduled an appointment with my regular tech for a basic pedicure for grand daughter ( accomplished by another nail tech) , deluxe pedicure for my self along with a classic manicure ( cut , filed & cuticles no polish) Scout didn't want a manicure because she doesn't like the polish to chip off. Midway through pedi, I mentioned my desire for the manicure as well. " Boss Lady" said "If we aren't busy"....I pointed out that I had requested both when I made the appointment. After a few months of personal turmoil, I went to get my nails done. This experience was not one of the best I've had at this location as the nail artist did my nails like she had an appointment to go to. The whole experience felt rushed, and the conversations in between with other staff made it feel like I was intruding on their day. It was pointed out prior to the nails being finished that I wasn't happy with how they look. Atmosphere felt friendly but the full set I got was poor quality. They were not filed down well so they feel very bumpy and uneven with a basic French tip finish. Acrylic was not blended in near the cuticle so there's a big bump and the edges started lifting after a week. read more

I've been here once before and the service was great. Nails looked great, tech was great. But I went on April 23rd an hour and a half before they closed to get my acrylics removed and gel polish put on. I had the grouchiest old man, man-handling my hands(super rough). He didn't remove all of my acrylic. Assumed I wanted a fill AND got upset with me when I informed him of what I asked for when I walked in. Made a comment on how his hands hurt when he was filing down for a fill and now they hurt even more. As if it was my fault. Then did the worst gel polish coat ever on my nails. I'll attach a photo. (Polish not straight, bumpy acrylics parts left on, nail is detaching from said acrylic, air bubbles in EVERY SINGLE NAIL). I'm so so sooooo disappointed. The work is trash, the tech was mean, and I cannot believe they charged me $25 for this. I could have done this at home better. read more

Update: I've been here a few times now and love it more and more every time. I'm very pleased. My daughter used to get her nails done elsewhere but I brought her with me for a fill here last time and she can't believe how much nicer her nails are and how it wasn't painful like it is at the place she used to go to. They're fast and polite, I've never had to wait. They've never cut me or anything even remotely painful. I highly recommend them. -------- Nice, clean place. I've only been here twice but have never been disappointed! My friend swears by this place which is why I came. Ben is great and hilarious. Both times have been seated right away. read more

I went in today for a pedicure with a friend. I had been there before for acrylic fills and such and never had a bad experience, until today. Half way thru my service the nail tech looks up at me and tell me that I would be prettier and my body wouldn't look as "weird" if I just ate healthier food. She repeated herself 2 more times. My friend and I weren't discussing our body types or the food we eat and even if we were she was completely out of line. Rude and unprofessional. I wasn't paying for her opinion. He started working on my nails and had brought up an idea for my nails and I am in love with them. Tspa in Lacey is the worst place to get your nails. Ben Phan co-owner is a complete asshole. I have been going there for a year with never an issue and referred 2 friends. One friend he did a crappy job on her nails by not doing down by her cuticle looking like she needed a fill. So next day I tell her to call and Tina tells her to come in and they will fix it. Since she lives an hour away Tina said Tuesday or Wednesday is fine (phone call was on Friday) so we go in and we both try to explain to Ben the issue and we get that "that's how you do Ombre" bullshit! This is the BEST place to get your nails done. Everyone is so nice and anyone of them will do a great job. I have been going here for a long time and I love how they keep up with all the new trends and styles. You can have a glass of wine or a beer as well. The moment I sat down the lady that was doing my nails didn't even say anything to me. She was talking to some other girl the whole time. And because she was talking to her she wasnt paying attention to my nails. Not only are one of the ones I noticed crooked but she also cut me twice and didn't apologize. And this isnt the first time someone there has cut me. I felt obligated to tip so I did. But definitely not going back. Upon closer inspection of my nails, there are three that were not put on straight. My finger nails still hurt from her grinding on them. The cuts still hurt and I forgot to mention that I am doing engagement pictures the following day so the cuts on my hands will look great for it. Because she wants paying attention to my nails one of them looks like it wasn't attached all the way, like the side of it isn't covering the nail. Im sad to say that im just overall really disappointed with the product, quality and customer service. I went back in a week later because it was bothering me so much my nails were crooked. I called and went in and spoke with the owner. When I got there he was doing someone else's nails and wanted to talk to me. First thought was shouldn't he be paying attention to her nails instead of worrying about mine? He told me he could do them himself. I told him I didnt want him to do them and I wanted a refund.
