I went in for gel pedicure - my nail on big toe was broken from a stubbed toe. They removed my gel polish from previous pedi - super glued my nail to itself and painted over. Honestly: it looked fine! Rest of pedicure was mediocre. Nothing to write home about. I'd give it a 2-3 star rating. Two days later, the nail broke off where the technician had glued it. Okay. Fine! Stopped in to just have big toe nail reshaped and repainted as the broken nail took off some of the paint. I explained what I wanted. One toe nail fixed, nail filed. That's all. The technician started using a grinder to remove polish. My toe started stinging. I looked down and she was grinding on my toe. I pulled my leg back and pointed at the blood now tricking off my toe. She laughed and said sorry. She then took the grinder to my second toe. I again pulled my leg back and said "I only need the big toenail fixed" she looked at me and said "why didn't you say so?" EXCUSE ME?? She then began to laugh and speak to her coworkers about "one toe" which 3 workers specifically said out loud while laughing. Terrible customer service. Terrible way to treat a guest in your establishment. Long story short- both toes were bloody when I was done. Minor annoyance: she didn't use the color I requested. My husband and I moved from CA to WA and tried this nail salon for the first time. We visited around 5pm to get pedicures which I had a great experience he did too but his technician seemed new where as mine kept showing the other how to do things. Not terrible, I suppose, I just noticed my husband didn't get a generous amount of product rubbed on him like I did. We paid $45 each, $10 more than the deluxe service online. I made the mistake of asking for a full set with regular nail polish too. There wasn't enough time but the man did it. He was very nice but my cuticles should have been soaked and pushed back with a tool but he did this with his nail the entire time. Like it's okay to do it here and there but with a tool first not the entire time. He didn't do a good job applying the product to form the nail, I had to point out the deformities and then he did better. He also did not file my nails as well as he should have also inconsistent and at times painful on the sides. My left thumb bled a bit towards the end. He hadn't cleaned my nails well after all was done and the woman who did my pedicure painted my nails. She did an excellent job, she wore a black coverup. I said I had wanted the regular full set when I walked in and wanted the same nail polish on my feet. They said the gel would be the same price but come on, it isn't. I asked the man the price and an older woman at checkout charged me $45 which was diff from what he acknowledged. I felt swindled. They just wanted me gone. The service prices online were supposedly not updated but I paid the gel price. I def overpaid for a mediocre full set service. I feel they should not do the service if they can't finish it properly. I wish the woman who did my pedicure would have done my full set, I feel she would have done better. That lady had brought it to the man's attention that he hadn't finished my nails correctly. He said I could come back the next day so he could fix my nails. Very nice but no thanks. Not happy with the quality of work and feeling like I overpaid for each service. I'm not wasting my time. If I could give no stars, I would. I went in to get my nails done (my regular place was closed) and expressed multiple times that I was unhappy with the shape. My cuticles were flooded with acrylic, my nails were placed crooked, and the painting + shaping was completely sub par. After expressing my opinion MULTIPLE times (in the most respectful way I could) to what I assume was the "lead nail stylist", I was swiftly shut up with the response "it's not done yet". When she took over, she tried to salvage the shitty workmanship, but my nails came out looking like someone in training did them. To ice the cake, not even two days later, two of the nails came off. I called in to inform them, and of course, I was met with attitude & disinterest, PLUS the woman hanging up :). So I never leave reviews but this place was so bad I felt I had to. I got a gel acrylic full set. I told her a bunch of times throughout the appointment they were way too thick and she said she'd fix them. but never did. they're all lop sided. none are the same length or straight. they have lumps all over. the acrylic was falling off my nails and dripping on the counter. the acrylic goes over my fingers. they're not painted all the way. and i have cuts all over my cuticles. First of all the bathroom is dirty. We were in there for almost 3 hours because the black polish was bubbling and they were blaming my friend for the reason it was bubbling. Both of our nails shaping is horrible we both asked for square nails. After saying they could take us the women was complaint the whole time about how long it was taking and we both got one color. Dude it sucked, the people where pretty nice. But they rushed, some of my nails where streaky and some where just messy and really bad. I love the colors, they actually where ones I wanted, that's the only part I enjoyed. Honestly I wouldn't come back. :) And my friends mom didn't the massage she wanted and they charged her full price. If you want to make an appointment at 11:00 am and theN wait for an hour until they get to you, then once they get to you they don't even ask you what you want. Once you I told them I wanted a classic mani & pedi they stopped and began to just simply paint my nails and toes. No lotion, no massage nothing that is included in the package. I tried to talk to my nail tecH and she simply ignored me. I don't recommend coming here for any of your needs. She also only filed one hand the other she never did. They did an okay job. The guy who did my nails cut my index fingers while he was shaping them. But other than that I'm pretty satisfied with his work. Then the lady who did my friends nails didn't even use the color she picked out. My friend wanted silver and glitter and the lady uses a dark purple color and they had to redo the whole thing. Before you ask my friend did tell them that it wasn't the right color but the lady said "no it's okay". Then when they redid them they kept asking her why didn't she say anything when SHE DID. While I was sitting there a couple of people came in and some of them they told them "sorry we're booked all day" and others that came in without an appointment they went ahead and did there nails or whatever. She was with a group of girls and got passed off which was the first sign that things were going too be bad, the owner slapped some flower decals and lumpy black polish on and sent her on her way. If you are a POC, literally do not go here. They are mean and talk smack about you in front of your face. It was my second time coming here and I had a very bad experience. It was soo annoying to give a tip but I'm not petty. The worst part was I brought my friend with me and she also felt the same way. They kept looking at us and making snide comments. I paid $35 for a gel manicure yesterday and it didn't look great, but I let that slide because I didn't want to be a jerk. Then today it already started peeling and chipping, so I called Holly nails asking them to fix it because gel is supposed to last 2 weeks. One lady knew which crappy manicure it was without me even telling her (this was over the phone), but the manager said they'd only fix it if i come in Monday or Tuesday, which I cant because I work 10-8 mon-thurs and those are their hours of operation. She started screaming, literally screaming, at me that she didn't care that I have to work and then hung up on me. This isn't an exaggeration at all, i was so upset that i started to cry. Sadly my $35 for a mani/pedi/tip could have been much better spent elsewhere. At first, I was happy to see a clean spacious salon with what looked like a good selection of colors. However, 90% of their colors were some variation of red. They also didn't carry Essie which is my preferred brand of polish. There was only 1 other customer in the salon so I got seated right away. A nice lady started on my toes while another one began on my fingers. She filed my nails and then started to apply the polish. I asked if she was going to soak and cut my cuticles - the works and what one would expect to be done when getting a manicure. It turns out that was an extra $5 on top of the $25 mani/pedi price. This was suspect to me though because the lady working on my feet was already performing those services without letting me know it was an extra charge. (Plus isnt that the whole point of getting a manicure? If I wanted to just file my nails and apply color, i'd do that myself at home!) This salon doesn't use a base coat - just 3 coats of the color and then a top coat. Once they were all done, the ladies joined the other manicurists at the back of the salon where they all proceeded to have lunch. So there i was, the only customer in the salon, still sitting in the pedi chair waiting for my nails to dry while about 6 manicurists were eating their lunch off to the side. Talk about awkward. In my opinion, save your money for another salon. You may even get a cheaper meal and have the chance to dry your mails under a fan versus just sitting idly out in the open. read more
