Star Donuts - Maple Bar. - Donuts Near Me - Stockton, California

The best and softest donuts around town! No place to sit but that's ok because their service is quick. Glad they accept Apple Pay. I enjoy bringing these donuts to share at work and my coworkers love them too. read more

Star Donuts - Oreo, coconut, maple, cinnamon, custard filled, raspberry filled, you name it, they've got it! - Donuts Near Me - Stockton, California

Tried a maple bar donut, which was soft and surprisingly not too overly sweet! Maple glaze was perfect spread and the size was well for the budget. read more

The people working there are nice, but you can tell inflation has hit them The donuts are smaller and the price is way higher For two maple bars or maple fingerlings, a tiny cinnamon roll and cup of coffee, it was $11. They used to be my go to spot because I knew people who worked there. They just priced me out of range. The lady told me the cinnamon roll alone was 3.50. read more

Did the price of a dozen donuts go up? I usually pay $20 for a box, but today with a regular coffee it came out to $25. Don't get me wrong, the donuts are good, but it feels like the prices change every time I come. This time a different lady charged me a different amount, so I just hope customers are being charged fairly and consistently. I enjoy coming here, but if I feel like I'm being overcharged, I may stop supporting the business. read more

Came in today to buy my son donuts from his favorite donut shop. Walked in with a very verbal, disrespectful customer voicing his opinion about the place to the owner. He wants to share his thoughts and tell people not to come to this location. I do not know what their disagreement was about. But regardless of that, THIS donut shop makes the SOFTEST and FLUFFIEST donuts any other donut shop I've tried. The people are very friendly and polite. The donuts do not get stale even for days. My son LOVES this place and we've been getting our donuts here since he was a baby, practically 5 years. Prices may change due to economy but will always pay for their donuts. read more

Always great donuts and service. Small shop but they have all you need to enjoy. They keep good business hours in my opinion.

These donuts are the best in town! Always fresh. Service is friendly and fast. It's set up to order, pickup and head out.

The worst donuts I've ever had! They want CASH ONLY here. Donuts are not fluffy ; they have a flat stale look. Very bad display presentation. Products seem rushed. Asian woman not pleasant at all. They have Very limited beverages. NO Hot Tea. Only regular or decaf Luke warm coffee. Go to SK Donuts at 8626 N Lower Sacramento. The quality and variety is MUCH better over there including breakfast sandwiches! read more

Donuts are good here, Ive came in a couple of times and they have only disappointed once with it being cold and stail but that was a late night craving so not sure if it was because of that? But over all not bad, they taste good and reasonable priced :) read more

Walked in on a Tuesday morning 5AM and ordered 6 dozen donuts for my employees. Service was fast. Total was $108, so $18/dozen or $1.50 for a single donut. The donuts were fresh, soft, and flavorful! I'll definitely come back to order donuts again. read more

Seriously the best donuts I've ever had. The texture is never a disappoint. It's super fluffy and does not taste like you're eating paper like some donuts. I highly recommend grabbing some for yourself. We always make it a point to get some maple and glaze ones when we are in town. And the customer service is great, which is a nice added plus. Second day in a row I was in this area and once again, another donut shop was nearby. After my good experience with a different shop down the street (see other review) yesterday, my tastebuds were still firing. So in I went for a donut. This place too is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. There's are several tables inside and there were several customers inside enjoying a cup of coffee and a donut...but I suspect they may have been personal friends of the owners or staff. Some of the other reviews I've read warn about watching what you end up getting charged. I again ordered a raspberry filled donut (dusted). The menu board says $1.50 but I was charged $1.92...42 cents difference! Don't be fooled by the business supplied photos which are obviously old...because they show 90 cents for a single donut. Additionally, this donut was a bit smaller in size than average and quite a bit smaller than the one I got yesterday from their competitor down the street. I doubt I'll ever get a donut from here again...unethical business practice don't suit me well. read more

Easily the best donuts in Stockton. The employees make donuts fresh in small batches so that their case isn't full of stale donuts. Each donut is soft and pillowy yet flakey and the toppings taste better than most donuts I've had. I will definitely be coming back here! read more

So warning everyone, if you happen to want to get some donuts here in the evening and see them cleaning up inside then DONT BUY!! The donuts were out in the open on a tall tray and the worker was mopping with a pinesol type cleaning product (it did smell strong when I stepped in) and I bought a dozen of donuts and went home to share them with my family but as soon as we had bitten into them, they had a horrible pinesol taste. We went on to tasting all the donuts thinking it might have been the ones that were just on the lower rack but they were all affected with the horrible pinesol taste. There went $18 down the garbage. Save some money and Just buy a box of lil Debbie's. read more

Great donuts but pricey. My kids are donut snobs and they absolutely loved the donuts here. They were open on a Wednesday morning and donuts were super fresh. During the pandemic, I appreciate that I can go during the week and they are open so I can treat my kiddos to a surprise treat. They were very clean, friendly and careful with social distance. It was a little out of the way for me but I'll be back to at least get out for the drive. read more

Seriously $25 for a dozen of donuts! I was surprised with the total and made it a point to clarify why it's so pricey. The rep stayed everything cost more now. I get it, there's inflation in every industry, but 50% more? For flour and sugar? I have never spent so much on donuts. Never gain! read more

In the midst of this world pandemic, my family and I had a sweet tooth. I called Star Donuts around 8:30pm asking if they were still open and a really kind women answered the phone and said they were. I took off to grab some donuts and ended up buying 2 dozen. The same lady I spoke with on the phone was the one helping me I'm sure, and she was so kind and sweet. She was very helpful and sweet. The donuts were delicious, still very soft and fluffy. Hands down some of the most yummy donuts for sure and great customer service! Don't mind the picture, we couldn't help ourselves and already ate a few!! read more

My favorite donut shop in Stockton. Service is always friendly, prices are reasonable, and the donuts are delicious.

Craving soft glazed donuts but don't wanna wait in a line?? This is the spot to go! Support small businesses!! Highly recommend

Nope not the one. I went here after reading great reviews only to my disappointment it wasn't as great as the reviews said it was. Maybe I came in the wrong day but our 2 dozen doughnuts were ALL dry. My kids love doughnuts and we literally wasted both boxes. They do however have great customer service and seem to know some customers which is a plus! read more

"Meh" donut place, "meh" atmosphere, with "meh" donuts. The donuts are good and fresh, just nothing special, nothing stands out. The fellow working behind the counter was "meh" as well. $10.95 for a dozen of "regular" donuts, and $12.95 for a "fancy" dozen. Considering my dull experience here, I should've drove over to Walmart and got a bag of little Debbie donuts for $2, at least the greeters there make you feel welcome. Will I be back? No. But I'll still enjoy these donuts. read more

Whenever I'm craving donuts. This is my go to place. The donuts are delicious and nice and fluffy. Ughhhh..

Yes the Donuts are good and yes they are fresh when you go when they first open BUT they are DEFINITELY NOT worth $15 a dozen!!! Gtfoh! Menu price is one price but BEST BELIEVE when they start playing with the register you'll pay an extra dollar or so! Just watch your total. It was happening so much I was use to it but when I asked why the "price play" the excuse didn't "ADD" up so we will be taking ALL our Business elsewhere. Good Luck Star Donuts! Folks are on a budget and are watching their bottom dollar! Lost any customers lately? I'm guessing yes! I nearly just stopped giving you my business without giving my review but I had time today. read more

The owners of Star Donuts are extremely nice and they remember your favorite donuts. The donuts are the same size as they were for the past few years. The prices are still very reasonable. I always enjoy getting donuts for my family or friends. There are the regulars that quietly meet over coffee and donuts everyday which is cool. It is a local business providing great donuts and service with a smile as you wait. Yes, it is worth the drive to buy your favorite donuts. I must say I LOVE the CINNAMON ROLLS! read more

The best Doughnuts in the city, it's not even close. They are so far above everyone else. Always fresh, the store is super clean, and the staff is outstanding. Highly recommended. read more

Let me start by saying that I love donuts. One time I had a serious craving for donuts and I ate a whole dozen to the face. I didn't eat donuts for about a month after that splurge, but it was worth it. As for Star Donuts, I must say that they are buttery, sweet, and fluffy. Along with a hot coffee, they will melt in your mouth and you will instantly reach into the box for more. If I had that same exact craving I had in the past I would probably eat 2 dozen Star Donuts. Tidbit: Interestingly, Star Donuts does not have the signature pink box that almost every other donut shop has. They use a white box??? This sort of bugs me because I constantly get asked what is in the box. Sometimes I say it's pizza or a cheesecake. I would suggest maybe put a Star and a Donut on it so that people know its Star Donuts??? read more

Was doing business out north so I thought I would venture outside my donut comfort zone and try another shop. Clean, well lit, nice selection of donuts. I went with a chocolate buttermilk bar, tasty, not too large and good chocolate icing. Coffee is the standard restaurant blend, good enough to wash a donut down. read more
