StarBright does NOT honor their promotions/Groupons
Today I dropped off dry cleaning at the StarBright Cleaners. I was told I could not use the $20 Groupon with my $10 off coupon for each $50 of dry cleaning.
I have used Starbright Cleaners and its predecessor, Comet Cleaners, since the 1980's. I have always used a Starbright or Comet coupon with my cleaning. To me, after twenty years of doing business with Starbright/Comet cleaners the actual price is the coupon price.
If it was Starbright/Groupon's intention not to allow the Groupon to be used with a Starbright Coupon the solicitation should have read, "To be used only when paying full price", as the pizza promotions do. As it is now, the Groupon promotional stated value is not the true value.
Also, in the past I have used a Groupon with a Starbright's coupon on cleaning. Thus, at one time Starbright did allow both a Groupon and a Starbright coupon to be used at the same time. The sign at the Starbright cleaners states this policy began on February 1, 2015. If Starbright was going to change policy they should have notified those with outstanding Groupons or requested Groupon to notify the outstanding customers.
Starbright did not respond to my email. read more
