I'm pretty certain this location shouldn't be in business. It looks like a tornado tore through the building and they haven't cleaned up from it. It also reminded me of the local Macy's--it's tiny. They had very little in stock and I'd be concerned about having something shipped to the store for pick up there. They'd probably send it back or lose it. read more

Based on your previous yelp scores, that location needs a lot of help. I don't have to tell you that your main cashier is the face of the business. Customers determine whether your location is a place of business they want to spend money in based on that one encounter with your dedicated cashier at front. They are usually the first person a customer sees and the last person they see. It's an important position. BTW, not one employee greeted me or asked if I needed help when I was roaming around your store. Surprisingly I saw a few employees on the sales floor stocking, which is great. Normally retail labor budgets are very tight. Anyway you got a lot on your hands but sometimes retraining an employee might help. That cashier needs retraining badly. Careful they have an idiot as their cashier today. Caught a mistake she made and she didn't give back my change. I asked for the manager and called her out. She wasn't friendly from the start. No greeting. Just asked for a $1 donation. I tried to explain she made an error but she got rude and wouldn't hear me out. The manager corrected her error. But that cashier needs to be written up for her error and lack of customer service. read more

I wish I did not have to put 1 star, I have had issues with going to Staples Copy Center, First I left my copy work to be done because their new Large Copier was not copying the entire piece I needed. 2 weeks of frustration has happened they have lost my expensive Original works, they made the copies and forgot to put the originals into the bags, never called to state this and when I went in? Originals are missing, they have never found them. I went to speak to the manager Jorge Romero, and he could not have cared less that they had lost my product. I had a transaction in Tracy the other day and needed copies of some documents. Yelping/googling office supplies the only one that showed up was Staples. No Office Max or Depot in Tracy? Well, it all worked out for the best since I was going to be in the area eating lunch at the Olive Garden. So off to Staples it was. Walking in the copy center is quite evident towards the left side of the store. Two associates were busy helping another customer that had some sort of a printing problem. But I was acknowledged right away and told that they would be with me in a minute. The associate that helped me was very friendly and efficient. I came in to purchase a few items in which during my ENTIRE visit I paced back and forth trying to find what I needed. Several employees were seen standing around in which NOT ONCE was I greeted nor asked if I needed help locating my item. I NEVER FOUND what I was looking for since not a single isle was labled... I did on the other hand purschase a journal for my daughter which sadly after my horrible experience I didn't want to give this comoany a dime but I had already told my kid she could have the journal... The cashier even had an ATTITUDE and acted annoyed to be at work... The moment I walked in I was greeted by a gentlemen. He then asked if i needed any help. I polity said "no" and walked over to the ink only to see I did need help. I walked back over to him and right when he finneshed helping a woman with her needs he asked me with a smile on his face if i needed any help once again. Embarrassed thinking i knew my stuff. My wife took her laptop to do a diagnostic . It sometimes got stuck at bootup and needed a windows 10 reinstall . She left it on monday thinking they would call her tuesday . By wednesday no call so i went to store . After waiting for 20 mins a gentleman asked me if i needed help . I informed him i wanted to know the status of laptop. I went in tonight for a simple one-time lamination of a bookmark and was told I had to enter "my info" on their computer while my bookmark was being laminated. I entered my name, my phone number, and my e-mail but then objected when I saw the form also requested my address. I said, "Seriously? You need my address for a bookmark lamination?" The employee then said it was okay to leave off my address but that corporate policy requested a phone number and e-mail address even for a one-time lamination job. Although Staples guarantees a one delivery I received a text on the 23d that my order has been shipped. And then I never received anymore update. On July 3 I called Staples, a clerk answered and said that my order was in. I went to the store but they could not find it. I gave my phone number to call me when they find it, no call. I called back on the 7th and I was told that the manager was going to contact UPS and would call me back, no call, I contacted the support online and I was told UPS delivered it on June 26th. https://www.stapleseasyrebates.com is a complete scam! We purchased 7 packages of Avery labels and each package was supposed to have $7 rebate. It is impossible to submit the rebate online and when you finally do, you get a postcard saying that it is missing the purchase date even though the form was completely filled out with scanned receipts. I only got 1 rebate back for $7 after many hours of trying to work with them and it took about 2 months. They said it was because only 1 was allowed per household when this was never advertised! I called Staples to see if they would just give me store credit (if I brought in the receipts) for the rebate amounts but they asked me to call the rebate center again! They never intended to give the rebates and this is just their way of scamming customers! BEWARE! read more

I literally searched every isle and end cap in the store for a "privacy glass screen protector" for my iPhone 6s. I was asked if I needed help when I was on the last isle near the registers. By that time I had a huge headache cause the tattoo' guy and gal in the printing/photo center were heard very loudly across the entire store, with non-work related conversation and laughing. It just wouldn't end! I was 1 of 2 customers in the store, about 45-1hr. And I'm pretty sure the loud guy was a manager or something. I'm never one to do any negative surveys and it takes a lot for me to be bothered. But this store was awful. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would give this experience zero stars if possible. I went here last week to print a two page document I needed for the next morning. There was only one person working the print and copy center. This staples doesn't have the self serve computer print stations that other locations have. They only have two print stations and one wasn't working. In addition to myself, there were three people in line waiting to be helped. The printer wouldn't read my usb and I was trying to get the attention of the print and copy worker but he was busy with another customer who was also having an issue with the machine. There were two other cashiers standing around watching everything without offering any assistance. (No one was in the regular checkout line at the time) When I asked them for assistance they said that they were unable to help me print my document and that maybe their manager could when he/she got back from break. I tried to explain that the document was only two pages and was on a usb so they could put it in one of the computers behind the print and copy counter to print it and charge me after. They would not do it. They said they'd call their employee at the technical assistant counter (who was literally 15 feet away from where they were standing). I saw them radio him. He answered, looked at me and the line at the print and copy center, then turned and walked away! I ended up going to FedEx on Grant Line Rd instead. The service there was 10000% better. So if you need to print/copy or enjoy great customer service, don't go to Staples, go to FedEx!! read more

We were on a VERY tight budget this Christmas. We went to Staples for a particular item but it wasn't there. The next item available was $29 more expensive. We just couldn't afford it. The clerks Giselle P and Tina helped immensely by doing price comparisons for us and making it possible to get the presents. They probably have no idea how much this means to us. We will forever be grateful to these 2 women who had never met our family before but went above and beyond to make our holiday special. We cannot say thank you enough. It's the copy and print center that I had issues with. I went in on a Monday. To make 17 copies off of my flash drive. She said it would take her two hours because she had other projects. Okay. I asked her if I could come back in on the next day, Today. She said fine. She was in a rush of course. I left my flash drive with her, paid ahead of time and returned today. Which the prints weren't ready, and the flash drive just left in the computer with no notes. So it was shoved in a drawer. Yazmine was unprofessional and rude. Left no notes for the next day.
