I shopped first online for Kleenex hand towels. The shelf price is less than everyone else in town and plus this is the only place I can find them outside of online shopping. I like this Staples because it's clean and shoppable, the staff pretty nice also. read more

I have always experienced excellent customer service at the Tracy Staples, from the clerks on the floor and at the checkout counters -- friendly, helpful, professional. Extra kudos to Jeremy for helping me purchase an office chair. Were it not for his expert knowledge and guidance, I probably would have left the store without a chair! read more

Not all staff was approachable. Some were in conversation and didn't stop to see that I needed help because I was waiting for them to finish their conversation.... Aunt wanted to get a bookshelf but apparently only some Staples carry furniture in store like the Manteca one, the lady sales associate told me. As we left, one girl genuinely said have a nice day. Therefore, two stars. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced so far! They had refused to return or even exchange the dysfunctional product and told me to contact the manufacture and even so they refused to give me any information and wanted me to find it myself. The store manager goes by the name Jorge Romero and unlike any store manager I have seen is willing to help the customer and just escalated the situation with his bring an smart ass attitude. All listed associated are the worst with customer service and satisfaction. Veronica: register Brian Danhouser: return Jorge Romero: store manager read more

Staples - Shipping Centers Near Me - Tracy, California

Slightly dissatisfied with this Staples Poor Customer service in my opinion. The Staples in Lodi is WAY more Superior than the one in Tracy. I needed help printing 4 pictures and I asked if they could cut them for me...Toooo much of a pain for them to go ABOVE and BEYOND. I had to cut them myself or I would be charged extra... Very Unsatisfying and will never return to this location. Why don't the Managers train their workers to do their BEST in serving the customer? RUDE AND LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

I'm pretty certain this location shouldn't be in business. It looks like a tornado tore through the building and they haven't cleaned up from it. It also reminded me of the local Macy's--it's tiny. They had very little in stock and I'd be concerned about having something shipped to the store for pick up there. They'd probably send it back or lose it. read more

I bought digital pictures from Etsy and went to this Staples on Friday. From the beginning the employee was new to this process and so was I . Well thought job was done and paid . Was told would be contacted Saturday and no response. Contacted on Sunday , so went to location. Worked with same employee and she still tried constantly for help from fellow employees for help to complete the project. Not upset with new employee but very disappointed with her coworkers who never really stepped in and helped her complete this task of uploading and printing out pictures. So horrible that they would just stand by and not step in . " They should be ashamed it's a bad reflection showing no true support of one another and bad for company . " read more

Ordered business cards online. Said they'd be ready by a specific tome. They hadn't printed my cards by said time and when they were printed, their diffuser in the printer left uneven color. They said they wouldn't be able to do them until Wednesday. Also couldn't give me a discount on them. read more

Really really bad customer service. Walked in tonight to get something shipped out. Stood there for at least 15 minutes not a single "Will be with you" or even "hello". I work in customer service and the least that can be done is a simple acknowledgment. Then it took at least another 30 minutes to get my one packaged set up to ship out. Thank god I don't need staples. This place needs to learn a lot. read more

Customer service in copy center is horrible! The tall nerd with glasses there (seemingly a manager) is likely part of the problem if not the problem. Not coming back! read more

Hi Alicia, Thank you for your response back. I appreciate it. I have a long history of experience and leadership skills in the Retail business. Based on your previous yelp scores, that location needs a lot of help. I don't have to tell you that your main cashier is the face of the business. Customers determine whether your location is a place of business they want to spend money in based on that one encounter with your dedicated cashier at front. They are usually the first person a customer sees and the last person they see. It's an important position. BTW, not one employee greeted me or asked if I needed help when I was roaming around your store. Surprisingly I saw a few employees on the sales floor stocking, which is great. Normally retail labor budgets are very tight. Anyway you got a lot on your hands but sometimes retraining an employee might help. That cashier needs retraining badly. Careful they have an idiot as their cashier today. Caught a mistake she made and she didn't give back my change. I asked for the manager and called her out. She wasn't friendly from the start. No greeting. Just asked for a $1 donation. I tried to explain she made an error but she got rude and wouldn't hear me out. The manager corrected her error. But that cashier needs to be written up for her error and lack of customer service. read more

I had a transaction in Tracy the other day and needed copies of some documents. Yelping/googling office supplies the only one that showed up was Staples. No Office Max or Depot in Tracy? Well, it all worked out for the best since I was going to be in the area eating lunch at the Olive Garden. So off to Staples it was. Walking in the copy center is quite evident towards the left side of the store. Two associates were busy helping another customer that had some sort of a printing problem. But I was acknowledged right away and told that they would be with me in a minute. The associate that helped me was very friendly and efficient. I told her what I needed and a minute later everything was finished! I certainly would use this Staples again if I had a need and was in the area! read more

I just moved out to the valley and needed to print from a local shop. I called this place. Sent my architectural plans and they said they can rush in one hour. I get her and the woman behind the counter read the order wrong. Printed one set and not three. Then the printer paper had to be changed. Grrr. Now I'm am hour late and behind schedule. What is wrong with this picture. Time is money. read more

Never buy anything from here! They won't take faulty products back! They won't even help you with information about the manufacturer! When we threatened to contact corporate they actually laughed at us! No joke!!!! Horrible place. People involved were associates by the name of Veronica and Brian Danhouser. These people should be ashamed. read more

I wish I did not have to put 1 star, I have had issues with going to Staples Copy Center, First I left my copy work to be done because their new Large Copier was not copying the entire piece I needed. 2 weeks of frustration has happened they have lost my expensive Original works, they made the copies and forgot to put the originals into the bags, never called to state this and when I went in? Originals are missing, they have never found them. I went to speak to the manager Jorge Romero, and he could not have cared less that they had lost my product. Instead he kept saying the Copy Center person Sarah would be in on this day or that day and I should leave my name and phone number and what was missing and she would call. No calls ever. read more

We keep trying to give Staples our business but every single time there is horrible customer service . The manager is very rude and not accommodating at all even with the online competition I would hope local stores would up their interactions with customers to keep shoppers money local Update review : decided to give our local staples another chance done this many times actually Went in dec 23rd and thAnkfully was greeted by an employee named Rafael who was very friendly, courteous, helpful and all around perfect !! This young man should be the manager and this store would be packed every day !! read more

I came in to purchase a few items in which during my ENTIRE visit I paced back and forth trying to find what I needed. Several employees were seen standing around in which NOT ONCE was I greeted nor asked if I needed help locating my item. I NEVER FOUND what I was looking for since not a single isle was labled... I did on the other hand purschase a journal for my daughter which sadly after my horrible experience I didn't want to give this comoany a dime but I had already told my kid she could have the journal... The cashier even had an ATTITUDE and acted annoyed to be at work... Long story short, it was my worse experience at the Tracy store to where I will never return to that or any other Staples location ever again. read more

I asked for a certain ink for my old printer. Not only did he not make me feel stupid but he sat and educated me in new items and models of printers and LISTENED to my needs and wants. I don't have a problem with the employees in Staples but with what one employee told me was "corporate policy." I went in tonight for a simple one-time lamination of a bookmark and was told I had to enter "my info" on their computer while my bookmark was being laminated. I entered my name, my phone number, and my e-mail but then objected when I saw the form also requested my address. I said, "Seriously? You need my address for a bookmark lamination?" The employee then said it was okay to leave off my address but that corporate policy requested a phone number and e-mail address even for a one-time lamination job. Well, of course, I came home to not one but THREE spam e-mails from Staples. I would give no stars if Yelp would allow. read more

I went there last year to scan a bunch of academic transcripts and forgot one at staples. Its been more than one and half years and we had realized this yesterday. Don't buy online and get it delivered to Staples in Tracy CA. store. I placed an order online for a couple of cables on June 21st. Although Staples guarantees a one delivery I received a text on the 23d that my order has been shipped. And then I never received anymore update. On July 3 I called Staples, a clerk answered and said that my order was in. I went to the store but they could not find it. I gave my phone number to call me when they find it, no call. I called back on the 7th and I was told that the manager was going to contact UPS and would call me back, no call, I contacted the support online and I was told UPS delivered it on June 26th. It's July 8th and Tracy Staples store still does not know where my order is and does not bother to contact me. POOR customer service. read more

I absolutely hate going to this store. First off, they close at 7pm. Secondly, they hardly have any good items, and third, the entire staff needs to be replaced. Not one employee deserves their pay check. As soon as you walk into the store, they tell you "we close in 20 minutes". They don't ask if you need help. I feel bad for the store manager. It seem like all the dumb Tracy kids work there. They need to be replaced with robots. read more

Doesn't seem like a superstore. Gives me the "under construction" feel. It has more of a discount warehouse feel to it.

I literally searched every isle and end cap in the store for a "privacy glass screen protector" for my iPhone 6s. I was asked if I needed help when I was on the last isle near the registers. By that time I had a huge headache cause the tattoo' guy and gal in the printing/photo center were heard very loudly across the entire store, with non-work related conversation and laughing. It just wouldn't end! I was 1 of 2 customers in the store, about 45-1hr. And I'm pretty sure the loud guy was a manager or something. I'm never one to do any negative surveys and it takes a lot for me to be bothered. But this store was awful. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would give this experience zero stars if possible. I went here last week to print a two page document I needed for the next morning. There was only one person working the print and copy center. This staples doesn't have the self serve computer print stations that other locations have. They only have two print stations and one wasn't working. In addition to myself, there were three people in line waiting to be helped. The printer wouldn't read my usb and I was trying to get the attention of the print and copy worker but he was busy with another customer who was also having an issue with the machine. There were two other cashiers standing around watching everything without offering any assistance. (No one was in the regular checkout line at the time) When I asked them for assistance they said that they were unable to help me print my document and that maybe their manager could when he/she got back from break. I tried to explain that the document was only two pages and was on a usb so they could put it in one of the computers behind the print and copy counter to print it and charge me after. They would not do it. They said they'd call their employee at the technical assistant counter (who was literally 15 feet away from where they were standing). I saw them radio him. He answered, looked at me and the line at the print and copy center, then turned and walked away! I ended up going to FedEx on Grant Line Rd instead. The service there was 10000% better. So if you need to print/copy or enjoy great customer service, don't go to Staples, go to FedEx!! read more

https://www.stapleseasyrebates.com is a complete scam! We purchased 7 packages of Avery labels and each package was supposed to have $7 rebate. It is impossible to submit the rebate online and when you finally do, you get a postcard saying that it is missing the purchase date even though the form was completely filled out with scanned receipts. I only got 1 rebate back for $7 after many hours of trying to work with them and it took about 2 months. They said it was because only 1 was allowed per household when this was never advertised! I called Staples to see if they would just give me store credit (if I brought in the receipts) for the rebate amounts but they asked me to call the rebate center again! They never intended to give the rebates and this is just their way of scamming customers! BEWARE! read more
