The worst customer service of my life, the first time I went to this branch, I had to return an Amazon package the employee told me machines where down. I was upset because I don't live close to Springfield im 40 minutes away. I understood things happen, I called the branch a day before I returned a package to see if the machines were working didn't want to drive that far if they were down they said yes they are working next morning I went back as so. as I step in the store an employee screams where are you going with that Amazon package the machines are down, I said to her mam I called yesterday and they said they were workin? well that was yesterday today they are not working, I was so upset one by the way she was talking to me the lack of costumer service, and if the machines are down let customers know online. people drive from far to just find out machines are down is not okay. do your job and fix the machines before you guys open the store. or be more consider and post something online. read more

I used this location for self printing and scanning. The setup was clear and easy to use. There was adequate space to set out my documents to organize things as copies were made. When a set didn't come out right--they were old documents I tried to copy in their original color--I took it to the counter. I showed it to the staff person and explained it didn't come out. First question: Did you put it in the right side up? I'm sure folk mess that up, but I did not; however I don't think she believed me. We discussed trying to keep the same color and it failing and simply printing it normal. She didn't charge me for her printing (we were already paying for the blank copies). I'm not sure if she believed me or if it's a policy to suffer fools. read more

I needed two cheap computer monitors for business and found them here after searching multiple other locations without success. The employees were very helpful and I didn't have any issues later when I returned a few cables I didn't need. The parking lot was good, but getting out of the place is tough because of the corner it is located on. read more

Had an appointment for TSA pre check this morning. 8am. When we arrived we saw store employees turning customer away at 7:59. No big deal right? Then we go in for our appointment and they tell us the pre check girl is running a little late. They put us in some chairs and then disappeared for half an hour. The employee finally showed up and did about 7-10 minutes of talking to co workers. Cracked open a soda and still ignored us. Took us over 35 minutes to be seen. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

Went into to buy an office chair after waiting 30 minutes for someone to help me at Office Depot. Within in minutes a guy came by and asked, if I needed help? I didn't even have to go to the front to ask someone to send help. They just appeared like magic. He was so helpful and I made a decision. I have not been impressed with the prices or the service. Today I needed a toner cartridge for a Brother printer. I found it up on a shelf about 7 feet off the floor. I start looking for an employee to go find the ladder on wheels they use to get stuff off the shelves. I can find two employees in the store. One at a service desk talking to another customer and one at checkout handling a line of customers. I think there is another employee on the other side of the store at the printing counter also with a customer. I think the guy at the service counter is telling the customer how to build a nuclear weapon. They are going on and on it has been 10 minutes. I have things to do so I reach up and finger tip the cartridge off the shelf and catch it as it falls. I go to check out and find that my rewards account is gone. Like the previous reviewer this has been a persistent problem. Overall not a great experience. I am not a regular here and they certainly have not changed my impression. I am not going to be a regular. They just don't make customer service a priority. They did have what I needed in a location that was convenient but helpful, nope. read more

Updated review (3 stars): That was fast! Instead of calling the line of the President as told to below, I emailed order support and explained the situation. Within 2 hours they had refunded AND ordered a reprint for my order. Wow! THAT is good customer service. I still canceled the reprint and am getting it from a different local print shop due to the fact that I do not want to go back and deal with Assistant Manager Nathan again to get the print. If this review was for Staples corporate, I'd update to 5 stars. ---------- Original review (1 star): I placed an online print order, paid in full. In my confirmation email I was never warned that my fully paid order would be thrown out after 90 days, however due to unforeseen circumstances, I was only able to stop in today (juuuuusttt outside that window) to pick up my order. I know! 90 days is a long time, but because I was unaware of this window of pickup time AND because I had already paid in full, I did let it fall to the wayside. When I went in to pick up this order I was told it was thrown out. I fully understand Staples cannot hold all orders indefinitely. So I asked for a refund. I was told this was impossible. I then asked if it could be re-printed. I was told this was impossible. I then asked if I could speak to a manager since I was just outside this window and see if someone would work with me. I was told the manager and district managers do not "give out their phone numbers" but I could have a phone number for the line of the President of Staples and could "try that". This is when I decided I would write this review. Nathan, Assistant Manager at this store decided that it was ok to sarcastically give his customer a number for the line of the President over letting me speak with a manager. In my opinion, not great customer service. My order total was $16.20... I just don't know why it was that big of deal to work with me on this. read more

Went today to use a $10 off coupon... wow. The things I thought I'd use it for were so overpriced - batteries, bubble mailers, packing tape - that I felt like I was wasting the coupon. I guess they aren't aware of the UPS stores, Wal Mart, etc nearby and what they price at. So then I found a good deal on Godiva. But it takes 2 employees to figure out how much they are b/c of wrong pricing - they can stock the shelves but not change the prices I guess and it gets confusing as to what are "Dark Chocolate Gems @ 2.90" and "Dark Choc Gems @ 4.90" that are slightly different (but in the $2.90 section); and all of the above are also marked $2.95, adding further confusion. It shouldn't take double digit minutes of my time for me to buy chocolate! Then there's the check out. For some reason my Rewards acct has always had my 12 year old phone number attached to it, despite the fact I always have to have them look up the acct and update the email & phone, it always converts to gibberish and I have to do it over again. Some good deals on printing, paper, and demo computer stuff though. read more

Worst service I had one person smile at me the whole time I was there. Even the managers were nice, I intentionally kept eye contact with one to see if they'd smile say hello how ya doin. Scheduled weeks out for TSA precheck and got there after scheduling time aside to do this with my s/o. They have no idea what they're doing. Waited 15 mins and had them have me do the same thing over and over again and tell me their machines have been bad and that the whole apt should have been cancelled because they have known issues at their site. People take away valuable time do to this and it should not be wasted. read more
