highly recommend not using this place. Verizon sent me there for apple care warranty work, gentleman who looked at my phone broke my screen upon doing that (they did pay to have it fixed) but after having the initial work done they did not deactivate my old phone components which lead to me spending my weekend fighting to get my phone unlocked so i could use it. read more

Curtis walked me through the confusion I was having, even though I was not in the market to purchase anything from them. You can tell Curtis is an Apple lover for as many years as I've been alive. They fixed my problem and my Mac is running again. The tech who worked on my Mac doesn't believe in cleaning his fingerprints of the outside or inside of the screen which now is another trip back to have it cleaned and how long this will be I have no clue. Before letting the Tech work on your product make sure you remind him to wear GLOVES!! Now I wonder will I get back a working Desktop. I'm sure I have pissed the Tech off by complaining. read more

I'm a graphic designer and my Adobe Suite crashed one day and refused to restart. I upgraded from CS5.1 to CS6, upgraded my system to Mountain Lion, and moved 100s of GB to my external hard drive to free up space. Nothing I did worked. I made one phone call to Database Systems and the problem was fixed. I was greeted by a friendly associate and transfered to speak with technician Richard Dodd. I explained my problem and he walked me through a solution over the phone in a matter of minutes. He was incredibly helpful and didn't charge me a thing. Curtis @ database systems knows his stuff! I went in with an IPad that was giving me an error msg every time I tried to hook up my Midi controller to it (Not enough power to run this device MPK225) I have been all over the internet - I purchased the recommended Camera kit connector and plugged everything in -Same Msg !! Curtis would not give up! He finally had the idea to try a powered USB hub - Still no go. Then we notice that the hub had connection for a USB printer cord (just like the one that you plug into a midi controller) So now I plug in my lightning to printer port on the hub - midi controller to the hub and wonder of wonders it recognized the Akai MPK225 controller in Garageband and FL Studio Mobile -The only thing I had to buy was a $45 powered hub. We spent well over an hour working on this problem together (two heads are better than one) I was super impressed with Curtis's ability, knowledge, and tenacity! read more

THESE PEOPLE!! I aspire to be generous and helpful like this company has been every time I've been there. November of '15 one of my daughters was in a bad car wreck. I took her MacBook there to asses damage. They helped her with the absolute, best possible outcome. I should have written something then. Today I took my college age daughter there w/possible water damage to her MacBook. Again, these people went above and beyond to help her w/ the best possible outcome; an outcome that made them less profit, but helped us more. I feel so grateful-almost weepy. I am a "electronic challenged adult". I bought my Ipad air 2 a few years ago from them. I was not getting my Ipad to function correctly so stopped in a few days ago. Quickly they corrected my ignorance. (I won't go into that) with a few touches of buttons. Oh the woes of aging!!! Seriously don't waste your time at Best Buy or other places. I'm a poor college student that I unfortunately got a lemon Mac Book Pro (the whole logic board had to be replaced without me dropping or spilling anything on it) and Database was able to do all the repairs and easily communicate with Apple. Then the day did come that I actually spilled water on my computer and for a reasonable diagnostic fee they told me what was wrong with my computer and what the most cost effective route would be for me to take. The staff is extremely patient, competent and honest with their service. I have never been a tech store that I feel more comfortable with in regards to service. read more

Very poor customer service. I brought my IPhone in for repair, which is covered through Apple mind you, and after the man behind the counter went through the whole process of getting my information and clearing my phone etc... then tells me it will take an hour to run the diagnostic to insure it was actually the issue Apple was covering. This was perfectly acceptable to me, but then the man tells me that he does not have time to run it today, even though there was still over an hour and half till the store closed. I asked him if I could leave it overnight, and they could take care of it first thing in the morning, he then told me just to call Apple directly and go through them. If you do not want my business then by all means, I will not be giving you any more. Completely unprofessional. read more

I was very disappointed in our service by Database. My husband and I welcomed our sweet daughter in February, so you can imagine my dismay when our hard drive crashed on our relatively new iMac. I was terrified we had lost all of those PRICELESS pictures of my pregnancy, her sweet little squishy face immediately following her birth, newborn photos/videos, etc. When I heard that Database could likely retrieve all of our data and transfer to a new hard drive... I was elated. We agreed to pay for the data recovery and transfer (HAPPILY), and Database was supposed to work on it. We didn't hear anything, didn't hear anything, didn't hear anything, so we finally called them to see if it was done. Not only had it been "done" for quite some time (no phone call), but they had shipped off our hard drive to be disposed of WITHOUT transferring ANY of the data. So, YES, I did lose all of those precious moments we had captured at not at the misfortune of failing technology, but at the hands of a careless and unprofessional staff. I was extremely disappointed in this company's attention to detail (obviously), professionalism, and service. I will not be going back, and I strongly discourage anyone else from doing so either. This totally bums me out to type considering I am huge supporter of small, local business, but I do NOT want anyone to have to go through that same heartbreak I experienced. read more
