Amazing Customer Service Kaleb was honest, informative, and spot on in diagnosing and fixing the problem I was up at their location over a year ago and had the same great customer service. Ty guys. read more

this place is amazing! Sam took care of my problem, kind, helpful, smart and before I knew it, all was fixed!! thank you and I definitely will refer you all! My apple iphone is back to normal! thank you again!! read more

highly recommend not using this place. Verizon sent me there for apple care warranty work, gentleman who looked at my phone broke my screen upon doing that (they did pay to have it fixed) but after having the initial work done they did not deactivate my old phone components which lead to me spending my weekend fighting to get my phone unlocked so i could use it. read more

This place is a 5/5 when it comes to repairs. I cant speak about the sales because I havent bought anything but I can say my experience was 10000 times better than at Simply Mac. I had a keyboard warranty claim for a 2015 MacBook pro and got my laptop back 2 days after dropping jt off. read more

Since Springfield doesn't have an Apple store, I found this shop on yelp & stopped in to try and get help with my brand new Apple computer. Curtis walked me through the confusion I was having, even though I was not in the market to purchase anything from them. You can tell Curtis is an Apple lover for as many years as I've been alive. Very appreciative for his help! Will visit again when I'm in the market for any Apple upgrades. I didn't spend any money with them that day, but they have secured a future customer. read more

This is Springfield's Apple store really. Park at door. Great service. Nice people. Willing to help you with anything after the sale, too. Avoid big box store, this is the place. I've called back several times with questions on itunes or ipod, etc and they are always helpful on the phone. 5 stars! read more

Excellent service from the start! Jeff, Curtis & the rest of the staff kindly and patiently "endured" me for almost two years, as I shopped and transitioned my way back to the Mac platform. It's no wonder these folks have been a mainstay in Springfield since 1984! read more

They fixed my problem and my Mac is running again. The tech who worked on my Mac doesn't believe in cleaning his fingerprints of the outside or inside of the screen which now is another trip back to have it cleaned and how long this will be I have no clue. Before letting the Tech work on your product make sure you remind him to wear GLOVES!! Now I wonder will I get back a working Desktop. I'm sure I have pissed the Tech off by complaining. read more

Want a terrible experience. Wanted a new iPad, AirPods, and probably more but woman that waited on me wasn't helpful at all. Left and went to Best Buy and purchased new iPad, and AirPods and had excellent service from them. Won't darken the door of database again. read more

I'm a graphic designer and my Adobe Suite crashed one day and refused to restart. I upgraded from CS5.1 to CS6, upgraded my system to Mountain Lion, and moved 100s of GB to my external hard drive to free up space. Nothing I did worked. I made one phone call to Database Systems and the problem was fixed. I was greeted by a friendly associate and transfered to speak with technician Richard Dodd. I explained my problem and he walked me through a solution over the phone in a matter of minutes. He was incredibly helpful and didn't charge me a thing. I will be sure to take all of my future Mac issues straight to Database Systems and recommend them to all of my family and friends. They deserve a 10 star rating! read more

If you're in the market for a new Apple Macintosh computer, Mac software or an iPod you would be remiss not to go here first. They sell the full line of Mac hardware and have several models (laptops and desktops) online and ready for a test drive. Their software selection is somewhat limited but given the space they have the best in town. They also specialize in Macintosh repairs and I've personally had a computer worked on there and can recommend their services. Very friendly salesman and all around great place to shop for Macintosh computers and related products. read more

I bought my Mac book here and they were very helpful! Said to bring it in if I needed anything and they would help me. Very happy with service. read more

I had such a wonderful experience with Database. I highly recommend them. I accidentally spilled coffee on my laptop and ruined it completely, which required a new computer. The sales team was amazing. They took their time explaining the different options and what would work best for me. The team at Database was extremely helpful and saved my data from being lost. I was pleased with every aspect of my experience at Database: Sales department, Service department, communication and friendliness. I'll be back! read more

If you are going to buy a Mac, already own a Mac and want accessories, or need a Mac repaired, this is the place to go. Great customer service and they know what they are doing. read more

A cozy little Mac shop -- the ONLY Mac shop in town, actually. And a great bunch of people; they're always really friendly when you walk in, the service department is quick at getting repairs (they initially said the hard drive in my MacBook would take a week to be repaired; it took them two days), and they have some really cool old Macs on display. If you want to purchase a Mac or Mac software, go to Database Systems. read more

I had a great experience with my mac laptop's water damage with them. They got to it quickly and sent it to apple when needed. I didn't anticipate such quick service and decent pricing! Definite recommend! read more

Curtis @ database systems knows his stuff! I went in with an IPad that was giving me an error msg every time I tried to hook up my Midi controller to it (Not enough power to run this device MPK225) I have been all over the internet - I purchased the recommended Camera kit connector and plugged everything in -Same Msg !! Curtis would not give up! He finally had the idea to try a powered USB hub - Still no go. Then we notice that the hub had connection for a USB printer cord (just like the one that you plug into a midi controller) So now I plug in my lightning to printer port on the hub - midi controller to the hub and wonder of wonders it recognized the Akai MPK225 controller in Garageband and FL Studio Mobile -The only thing I had to buy was a $45 powered hub. We spent well over an hour working on this problem together (two heads are better than one) I was super impressed with Curtis's ability, knowledge, and tenacity! read more

THESE PEOPLE!! I aspire to be generous and helpful like this company has been every time I've been there. November of '15 one of my daughters was in a bad car wreck. I took her MacBook there to asses damage. They helped her with the absolute, best possible outcome. I should have written something then. Today I took my college age daughter there w/possible water damage to her MacBook. Again, these people went above and beyond to help her w/ the best possible outcome; an outcome that made them less profit, but helped us more. I feel so grateful-almost weepy. These are the kind of people, and type of business model, that I aspire to...do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The type of business/people that we need more of in our community. Gracious, kind, helpful, not self-seeking, but service oriented. I'm grateful for DataBase. Thank you. read more

I can't say enough good about the fine people over at Database. If you are tired of waiting in line at the box store just to ask some simple questions you've got to get yourself over to Database across from the mall on Battlefield right here in good old Springfield MO. They've been in business before Apple went mainstream and these guys know what they're doing. Customer service is top-notch and the ease of doing business with them will keep you coming back for life. If you want nice, local, knowledgeable staff that care about you and what you want, check out my new friends at Database - Apple Specialist...5 Stars! read more

I am a "electronic challenged adult". I bought my Ipad air 2 a few years ago from them. I was not getting my Ipad to function correctly so stopped in a few days ago. Quickly they corrected my ignorance. (I won't go into that) with a few touches of buttons. Oh the woes of aging!!! Seriously don't waste your time at Best Buy or other places. The place is quiet You park at the door. They know their Apple products and absolutely have wonderful customer service. YOU are the one they focus on Kudos to a great place !!!!. read more

I'm a poor college student that I unfortunately got a lemon Mac Book Pro (the whole logic board had to be replaced without me dropping or spilling anything on it) and Database was able to do all the repairs and easily communicate with Apple. Then the day did come that I actually spilled water on my computer and for a reasonable diagnostic fee they told me what was wrong with my computer and what the most cost effective route would be for me to take. The staff is extremely patient, competent and honest with their service. I have never been a tech store that I feel more comfortable with in regards to service. read more

I went in to purchase a bag for my laptop. I was treated like I was buying a Rolex. This is the hidden gem of great customer service and of ALL things APPLE. The store is beautiful and you get Star treatment!! read more

Very pleased with upgrade service this business did on my older MacBook Pro. Had follow-on questions since, and when I called they have given great customer service. read more

Warning, Database Systems - Apple Specialist only warranties their repair work for 90 days. So when they replace a monitor cable and it fails 10 months later, you're out of luck. Vote with your dollar, folks. read more

Very poor customer service. I brought my IPhone in for repair, which is covered through Apple mind you, and after the man behind the counter went through the whole process of getting my information and clearing my phone etc... then tells me it will take an hour to run the diagnostic to insure it was actually the issue Apple was covering. This was perfectly acceptable to me, but then the man tells me that he does not have time to run it today, even though there was still over an hour and half till the store closed. I asked him if I could leave it overnight, and they could take care of it first thing in the morning, he then told me just to call Apple directly and go through them. If you do not want my business then by all means, I will not be giving you any more. Completely unprofessional. read more

I was very disappointed in our service by Database. My husband and I welcomed our sweet daughter in February, so you can imagine my dismay when our hard drive crashed on our relatively new iMac. I was terrified we had lost all of those PRICELESS pictures of my pregnancy, her sweet little squishy face immediately following her birth, newborn photos/videos, etc. When I heard that Database could likely retrieve all of our data and transfer to a new hard drive... I was elated. We agreed to pay for the data recovery and transfer (HAPPILY), and Database was supposed to work on it. We didn't hear anything, didn't hear anything, didn't hear anything, so we finally called them to see if it was done. Not only had it been "done" for quite some time (no phone call), but they had shipped off our hard drive to be disposed of WITHOUT transferring ANY of the data. So, YES, I did lose all of those precious moments we had captured at not at the misfortune of failing technology, but at the hands of a careless and unprofessional staff. I was extremely disappointed in this company's attention to detail (obviously), professionalism, and service. I will not be going back, and I strongly discourage anyone else from doing so either. This totally bums me out to type considering I am huge supporter of small, local business, but I do NOT want anyone to have to go through that same heartbreak I experienced. read more

I have been buying computers and other products from Database for years. Just called today and as always, got great customer service. If they had a 10 star rating, I would give it to them. read more
