I promise this is true. I tried talking to UPS about this but I'm sure you know, it's impossible to talk to anyone that considers themselves important. UPS return labels only log the address, nothing else. So if you reprint the return label, you can reuse it over and over. Take advantage of this wonderful offer from UPS. When I went to this location (my…read morefirst time sending out a package to my husband overseas), the guy helping me began to go through my package-- pulling out items one by one. I had organized the package the way I wanted and had personal notes and things in there... If he had asked me before taking my package and rummaging through it, I most definitely would have said no. I finally took the package and walked out crying. He invaded my privacy without permission and just made me feel so invaluable. This UPS store has no respect for service members and their family. We called UPS corporate and they said this specific store seems to have a lot of issues and that what they did to me was a federal offense and they would be taking care of it. The United States Postal Service treated me wonderfully! They gave a military discount, didn't go through my packages, and they were so kind and respectful!

    I agree...might help if my delivery driver rang the damn doorbell when he was leaving a package…read morethat had to be signed for... Instead of sticking a post it note on the window and leaving. I was on the back deck with all the windows open--I purposefully stayed home to receive my box...my first shipment of my beer of the month club. Muy importante. :) So, I go online and have the package re-routed for me to go pick up at the UPS hub. I get a phone call confirming that the driver has left my package and I can come pick it up anytime. When I go to pick it up, the lady says it's not there, and then calls another building to see if THEY have it...which they said they didn't (despite my tracking number saying it was sitting there somewhere). She then tells me I should go across the street and give them a tracking number so they can hold it when it crosses their path. So, I wander around the parking lot until a nice gentleman offered to help and pointed me in the right direction. Feeling like a complete idiot, I tried to explain my situation to the two ladies that were sitting at their desks in a small office. I gave them my name, and lo and behold, there was my shipment sitting on their table. So, I would give UPS a thumbs down for their organizational skills. No one seems to know their ass from a hole in the ground. However, I am grateful that everything arrived safe and intact, so at least they paid attention when something has 18 'fragile' stickers pasted on it!

The order was shipped the next day via UPS and scheduled for delivery a couple of days later. Delivery day came and went and no package. The next day the package showed up in Las Vegas, mis-routed. It is now scheduled for delivery 4 days later. I e-mailed UPS, no answer. No apology, no offer to expedite the shipment, nothing. My business goes to FEDex from now on. Come on people. This is ALL you do. Packages. If you can't get that right....... Follow up... Finally heard from UPS Customer-no-service. Where was their response. Dear Patrick, Thank you for your e-mail. I have checked the status of your shipment in our tracking system. At this time our records indicate that your shipment was delayed in-transit on 04/26/11. The new scheduled delivery date is 04/29/11 by the end of the day. I apologize for any inconvenience this delay has caused. I sincerely hope that you will not let this unfortunate and rare situation determine your choice for future shipping needs.
