wish I looked at the reviews before taking my laptop here... I brought in my laptop and they called me a few days later saying they couldn't find the part needed. I was charged $65 for a diagnosis fee and asked for a refund since they couldn't even fix it. I was told no and it is nonrefundable. Then they bring my laptop out and the screen looks MUCH worse. I go to turn it on and a message pops up saying the cooling fan has been disconnected. They did reconnect it but said the additional damage to the laptop was just because they had to look at it. I paid $65 to have the screen more damaged. Terrible place. read more

Took in my laptop and charger. Laptop was not working. They sent it to another company to look at. Had my computer over a month. They never contacted me about the repair. I called every week and they never had a status update for me. Finally I decided I would just get a new computer and asked for my broken one back. When I went to pick it up they did not have my charger. They said the other company had it and they would not be able to get it. The company does not communicate with you nor was able to fix my computer, they had it exactly one month and a day. No communication, no customer service. I would not recommend using them. I paid the $60 diagnosis fee for nothing and they kept my charger. read more

failed to mention if I had beta IOS that my phone couldn't be repaired, left my phone they replaced the screen, came back and the guy is telling me he has to take the screen off and put the old busted one back on it unless I allow for everything to be erased off my phone and completely factory reset. so I asked why my software wasn't checked upon drop off, the guy starts yelling punching the wall, having a tantrum another gentleman had to come and help me. don't tell me you can't see what software I have on my phone when its right under the settings, furthermore, act professional in a professional setting, not like a child. read more

This place is horrible! They wanted to charge me more than it would cost me to just replace my iPad. And the guy I was talking to acted like I was just bothering him and I could tell he just didn't want to work. So sad kids these days have no work ethic. read more

Can I do no stars? Needed my phone screen replaced. Online quoted me a reasonable price and I got in store and it was much more. They said online was wrong. I needed it fixed so I agreed. Told it would be done at 4. Went at 4 and screen worked but faceID didn't work. Stayed 25 minutes and then left to come back later. Came back at 5:45 and it still didn't work. At 6:40 after a software update it worked and they charged me full price. No working with me even though they delivered it nearly 3 hours after when they told me. Not cool. I've had 2, what I considered, MAJOR issues with my iPhone 6+. One was a broken screen. Shattered more like it. Another was a dead phone. No charging, only the little battery icon saying plug it in. My phone is a life lock for work. Not only do I need constant weather updates across multiple states, (I'm an OTR Over The Road) driver, the phone and company Scanner APP are also how I get paid. UBreakIFix took care of my problems within 2 hours of each visit! I don't know about all this negative garbage posted. Well, it finally happened. I dropped my phone and broke the screen. After 4 very careful years. I had contemplated having the battery replaced but it was getting pretty bad. It wouldn't last for a few hours. So I was thrilled to Pieces when I found out that getting my phone repaired included more parts than just the screen, to include the battery. For the price I paid, I feel like I got a thoroughly refurbished phone and hopefully I can be careful for another 4 years. It was quick, it was reasonably priced and very painless. read more

Tried to call the this company for an appointment and I could not get anyone to answer my call. In fact it rang and rang then it just hung up. I have a claim with our cell phone provider and needed to schedule an appointment I finally had to do it on line. It would be nice if companies would just answer their phones. I need to apologize for this review, after talking to a very nice young man I was informed that they were having phone issues and there in lies the problem. It just goes to show you thing aren't always what they seem to be. We got our schedule and we will be getting our phone repaired tomorrow. I am now looking forward to meeting their staff. Update--- We had such a great experience and they were great to work with. They fixed our phone much faster than we were told. I highly recommend UBreakiFix to everyone. read more

They saved me $80 by cleaning out the charge port on my iPhone when they could have easily charged me to replace it. Honest company and I will be back for any future iPhone repairs. I asked about prices on other repair work and they seem very comparable plus now I trust them to do honest work. read more

I came into the store to get my computer cleaned, they said it would take only 3 days to get it done and I was relieved. the technician said they would contact me for updates and when it was finished. after 4 days I went to check in befause I never got a text or update. Nobody would answer the phone and I had to go bakc to the store. Apparently the technicians had been out and not even started the cleaning process. I was understanding and let them keep working on it. Another 4 days pass and still nothing, it wasn't until I called 3 times with no answer and had to go yet again to the store that I got my computer back. I initially brought it in to clean up a spill that got under the keys along with a general clean of the device. I got it back today and nothing was cleaned at all. Will not be going back there. read more

Filed a claim through Asurion, the replacement tech was great but there was a new issue with my phone. Asurion informed me to take it into the Battlefield location where my expectations of getting a second screen and battery replacement were left unmet. Asurion however was kind enough to send me a replacement device at no charge. This however now puts me in another predicament where I cannot turn on my device to transfer any of my information... email settings, pictures, etc. Should really consider changing the name to UBREAKIBREAK. Very disappointing from a company the promotes fixing issues, who can't even resolve an issue they create. read more

Had an insurance claim, was sent here for the screen repair. They did not have my screen in stock and had to order it. Not a huge deal but they were supposed to call me when it came in and forgot I guess. After the screen was replaced I noticed the edge if my phone was scratched up in two separate spots so that's awesome. I didn't realize it until I got back home. Phone case covers it up but it's still bullshit. -1/10 will not use again. read more

got a replacement iPhone screen installed, after a day or two noticed that the touch sensitivity was not working as should, few weeks later lost the ability to use bottom part of screen then the right side. phone started acting up could not answer . finally got a day off where I could bring it back in for warranty and the idiot helping me can not seem to find any record of me bringing in for repair. asked to speak to a manager, the guy just walks off leaving me standing there for 15 min. manager finally shows up finds me in the computer then tells me that the problem I am having is common as 3 out of 10 of their replacement parts fail. why are they using repair parts with a 30 percent failure rate. stated that he did not have another part in and would let me know when they did. it's been over a week and I have yet to hear from them. very piss poor customer service, nonexistent social skills and sub standard replacement parts. Use at your own risk, if I owned this company I would but foot to ass, and or social media these guys as how not to run a business. read more

Dropped off Macbook for screen replacement on 10/28/19 at Springfield MO store at 2904 S. Glenstone Ave. Called today to learn store is permanently closed (call was redirected to UbreakIfix Corporate) and that we would have to wait "days" for a call from the Owner to arrange for pickup of computer. I told him we didn't have days and asked how to expedite. He was very careful to explain that the Owner is no longer part of UbreakIfix but otherwise totally unhelpful. This location is now scrubbed from www.ubreakifix.com, but it wasn't last week when we searched for a reputable Company. UbreakIfix needs to act now to expedite the return of property ASAP. Your franchise partner has my property that I brought to you based on your Corporate marketing efforts and expectations created. "We can fix everything with a power button" I came in with my broken Surface Pro. Immediately, the worker condescendingly corrected me when I called it a computer instead of a tablet. He then looked on his computer and found that they cannot service Surface Pros, only iPads (Important to note considering they said they can fix everything with a power button). The worker tried to be helpful, but I cannot foresee ever returning due to leaving feeling unwelcome and demeaned. read more
